About: I volunteered for the internship at Save A Dog in Sudbury, Mass., back in 2020. Helped them clean and gave plenty of lovely attention. I also dog-sat several dogs for four years during college and experienced house-sitting for a lovely couple for three weeks in summer 2024. I love doing my job as I treat them as my own. I will make sure dogs have a blast time and are loved while they are with me. I over-communicate by sending updated texts and pictures, or videos. I would say you come to the right dog sitter here who loves dogs like crazy. Since I got a full-time job on night shifts, I am only available during the weekdays until around 2 and weekends (sometimes for the week!) for any service, I will have enough time to adore and care for your pets. Unless you are okay with leaving your dog with my dog, while I go away for work and my partner will be home at 4:30-5 pm so he can take care of the dogs too (he is also a Rover sitter!) - that is cool with me too. My dog would love the company! I would be more than happy to comply with your request as well. I also have my sweetest 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier and 1-year-old dachshund mix who loves playing or cuddling with others. About: I'm new to caring for dogs professionally, I've dog and cat sat for my neighbor several times over the last five years. While I'm new to taking care of pets in a professional setting, I've cared for dogs of all kinds since I was 10 years old. We had just moved from AZ to NM and we didn't want to leave our animals in a strange home while we were away. Lis jumped at the chance to watch our 4 animals (2 cats and 2 dogs) and not to mention in a home that was filled with boxes and only an air mattress for her to use while she stayed overnight with our fur babies. But our first experiences with Lis don't speak volumes about the help she provided us when we had an emergency situation. With no notice, we needed Lis to stay with our animals for a couple of days. “David is simply the best! We came to Santa Fe from Denver for a few days (Monday-Thursday) and we have 7 and 8 year old Border Terriers. Our male has epilepsy, and we do not leave him alone, so we hired David to watch them. David came on Monday night, Tuesday day, Tuesday night, Wednesday day and Wednesday night so that we could go out to dinner, go to the spa, etc. He stayed for several hours at a time, which was a big ask, especially since he has his own pup, but we couldn't ask for a better experience with him. He arrived on time or early, walked them, played with them, administered medications, gave them snacks and loved them! He sent us lots of videos and photos and updates, so we knew they were being taken care of and meds given, etc. He is also just a lovely person, and we really enjoyed getting to know him.
