About: I was responsible for caring for my childhood senior dog. She was a small chihuahua mix that I was responsible for walking, feeding and giving oral medications. I also cared for a family friend’s two German Shorthaired Pointer’s for a week. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, crating and administering oral medications! I currently work full-time but have a flexible schedule that allows me to check-in on pets during the morning and evening. However, I can provide longer check-ins during the weekend and have no standing/recurring commitments during the weekend. As someone who has owned pets before, I am well aware of the safety precautions needed. I make sure that my home is pet-proof by making sure my plants are out of reach and any dangerous chemicals. I also have experience with crating dogs.

About: Ever since I was born I had an animal right by my side . I have learned to take care of animals and provide for them. I have taken care of friends, family and neighbors pets in the past. I also have worked at a dog daycare called tail chasers so I have experience with big dog groups. I’m good with cats as well . I’m experienced with walking multiple dogs at a time because I got 3 myself. I’m currently working 3:30 am to 12:00 pm so I will have plenty time to spend with your animals. I’m free on the weekends as well . Willing to come to your place to house sit and take care of your animals. I have done that in the past for people. About: I have taken care of dogs within my household for 15 years now, with the additional walking & house sitting for neighbors! I recently started pet walking & sitting in Blacksburg this year and have had such a blast! As an incoming vet student this fall, I will bring an expertise and view that will be beneficial for the pet in their environment and for the owners. I am so motivated to support owners with their schedules by sitting or walking! I’m currently working part-time throughout the summer, and have time within the day to complete walks for your pets! I am also available to pet sit in-home for you if needed; preferably not Monday-Wednesday, but I am flexible! I always start off my sessions with building a connection with the pet prior. If possible, I like to meet prior to needing my services to socialize myself with the pet, so that trust can be gained. Once this is done, I love to play with the pets and cuddle them so that they feel secure! I love taking photos of the pets during walks to send to the owners, as this reassures them!

About: Have had 3 dogs and many other species of pets all my life. Am available almost all the time for pet care and happy to spend lots of time with your pets. Great with walking or indoor sitting. Have lots of spare time to dedicate to your pets and happy to help all days of the week. Can visit at all times of day. Can easily and gracefully handle all breeds of dogs or cats and can deal with multiple dogs at a time indoors or out doors if needed.

About: I’ve grown a loving and interested heart towards dogs but have a love for lots of different pets! About: I grew up with my mom being a Vet Assistant. I always had animals around me growing up and understand of variety of needs for different animals! I am very flexible! I attend Virginia Tech but have online courses and don’t spend much time on campus. Also easy going so can make a lot happen in short notice! I am very caring and hate to see animals unhappy! Their happiness is my main priority and love to do things with them rather than focus on the basics.

About: I grew up taking care of all kinds of animals including chickens, goats, cows, pigs, and of course cats and dogs. I’ve independently cared for animals since I can remember! I am a student at Virginia Tech with a pretty flexible schedule. I have time in between my classes to be able to let your animals outside or just spend time with them! Because I live in an apartment, I unfortunately cannot house animals with me in my home. However, I am happy to take them on walks and hang out with them at their home.

She took the time to learn our doggo’s habits and made sure he got the care and attention he needs around the clock including walks, adventures, meals, cuddles, and medication administration. She sent daily updates (including pictures) and was able to make our vacation stress-free knowing our pup was well taken care of. In addition to Christina’s outstanding attention to our dog’s needs and her unexpectedly regular (and very reassuring) communication with us, we arrived to our apartment in better condition than we had left it. She had cleaned every room, stripped used sheets/towels, and even organized some closet space in preparation for our return. She surpassed our expectations in every aspect! Highly recommend.”
