About: I'm that person where if you mention you have a dog, I want to meet them! I've been dogsitting since I can remember. With my current job, if my coworkers need a dogsitter, I'm there. They rely on me to walk, feed, and care for their pups as if it was my own. I currently work a job where I only work 3-4 days a week and have every weekend off. I'm unavailable on the days I work due to 12 hour shifts, but on my off days I'm available whenever! :) I have a friendly golden retriever pup who can give your furry friend company. I also have a crate upon your request and lots of toys!!

About: I’m not no expert trainer or anything but my Aussie learned how to roll over sit and lay down and shake and how to sit pretty before the age of one! If that’s something you want your pet to do I’m sure I can do some one on one time! But again I am not a professional! That being said aussies are very high energy! I take her outside any chance I get! We are on a pretty good routine! Any who, I can accommodate any needs your pet may need cat or doggo! Just click on me and come get to know my family! About: My family adopted a 10 month old rescue pup, Charlie, when I was 7 years old. For the 12 years that I got to spend with him he was my best friend. Although he was stronger than me the first few years of his life, I was still involved in his training and feeding care until I was big enough to take him out and walk him. Once I could handle him, I took him out, walked him, and helped give baths. As an adult, I have done multiple pet-sitting jobs for neighbors and family friends. I have taken care of dogs and cats of all ages. My job experience includes retail, landscaping, and food/bar service. Working late nights in downtown Blacksburg, I have become keen at cleaning up messes of all kinds. This summer, my schedule is wide open! I play pool a couple of nights a week, but that doesn't last for more than a few hours and I can always go late/leave early to get back to the pets. When the school year starts, I will schedule pet sitting around my class schedule. I am equipped to handle dogs of almost any size on a leash, and I love to play fetch in a yard/at the park. I can keep food and water bowls clean and full, I can crate dogs if needed, and I can keep a litter box clean!

About: I’ve had and been around pets my whole life and have experience with animals of all sizes. I have house-sat, dog walked, and done routine checking on pets for multiple years for friends and family. I also volunteer at the animal shelter to help animals in need I’m currently working part time and only work a few days a week so I am available almost all the time to check in and help out with animals. My long shifts also contain breaks so I can interact with animals throughout the day even while working. I know how to handle all kinds of pets in all kinds of sizes and I care for each animal as if it were my own. The safety and health of your animal is my top priority while they are under my care.

About: I have owned animals my whole life. I have also worked in veterinary medicine for almost 10 years. I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician and have worked in General Practice as well as ER/ICU. I also operate an animal rescue in which I take in animals in need of medical care and once the animal is healthy, find adopters. I have taken care of numerous animals during my career. I have exceptional knowledge of medical management for animals needing medical care, medications, injections, etc. I currently work as an LVT (Licensed Veterinary Technician) part time. I operate my rescue every day of the week. I have a very flexible schedule that allows me several opportunities during the day/night to provide drop ins to a clients home for walks, medications, etc. I am typically home most of the day so animals staying in my home will have frequent access to the yard and attention from me I have a fenced in yard and a separate entrance and indoor space for pet sitting within my home. I have a finished basement with cat trees, dog toys, couches, etc to make guests staying within my home feel comfortable. Currently, I only have space for one client’s pets at a time to ensure all pets get along and are safe together. Guest within my home will not have access to my own personal pets.

About: I have over 500 hours of dog watching and raising experience (outside of my own pets) and spent over 800 hours volunteering cat care for kittens and disabled kitties I am a grad student with a totally flexible schedule and can work from home easily if needed! I will be able to incorporate your pet into my routine seamlessly. I also have the ability to fully care for your pet at their own home. I am able to be there often if needed or can stop by for occasional visits based off your own needs.

About: My passion for animal is the upmost! As a former animal control officer I am trained in compassion and other skills that will be used in the best care of your pet I'm work for myself so I am home at all hours most of the time! About: I have always been an animal lover! I always have to stop and pet when I see them. I have often pet sat/boarded our neighbors animals for weeks even. I love all animals! I am currently a stay at home mom so I have extra time to come walk your pets, sit with them, or even for them to come stay with me I am home all day. At my home pets are always on leash and walked on grass/sidewalk. Can be kept in a separate area if requested! Clients home is based on clients wishes (backyard/dog park/sidewalk). About: Hi! I have experience caring for senior dogs and cats as well as kittens. I have helped change diapers, clean up messes, give relaxing baths, and provide as much exercise as possible for any pets I have watched over the years. As a professional housekeeper, no incontinence issue is too much for me! As long as your fur baby is happy and safe. I am currently on leave without pay from my full time job (until an undetermined time) so I have open availability to pet sit this summer for anyone who plans on taking a little vacation! I treat all pets with kindness and patience, always keeping in mind that any "aggression" is just a tiny animal who may be scared or hurting. About: Growing up, I have done pet and house sitting in various cities and situations. I come from a family of animal lovers: my mom won't even kill a house insect, and her mom has been know to adopt cats, birds, and even the occasional squirrel! We have no dogs of our own at this point, but I love to watch other peoples' dogs to scratch that canine itch (preferrably behind the ears! 😄) I am a home body with two little ones that are yet to be in school. I will probably be home most of the time your pet is here. We have an unfenced yard with caged chickens, quails, and goats. About: I am a graduate student living with my one cat looking to show some love and care for your pets! About: I’ve had dogs for over ten years, cats my whole life, been pet sitting for 4 years, and even worked at a doggy daycare for six months. I have experience caring for animals for up to 2 weeks at a time and have cared for dogs, cats, and bunnies. I work at Wonder Universe, the children’s museum in Christiansburg, about 15 hours a week! Otherwise, nothing concrete is on my schedule, and I am happy to work with your needs. I love to get dogs outside for fetch and running loose. I’m happy to do walks whether for potty or just for exercise. I know that play and stimulation are crucial for animals. I’m also a big fan of keeping things tidy (within reason) so any accidental mess from your fur babies will be as if it never happened.

About: Hi!! I’m Makenzie and I am a junior studying Pre-Law at VT!! I have two beautiful dogs of my own at home (a Great Dane and a golden retriever). I love to hang out and play with my puppies at home or take them on walks. If your pup is looking for a friend to walk with, I’m down! My family relies on me to take my dogs out and feed them often. I am currently back in Blacksburg until further notice!! My schedule is completely open except for my classes on Tuesday and Thursday. I will update my calendar if anything comes up. Rover is something fun I wanted to try because of my love for animals (and I’m always missing my own). I am a big keep the dog on the leash person. When taking my dogs out they are always on a leash and will never be let out of sight and that will 100% be applied to your dogs as well!
