About: Nice to meet you! I’m Jamie and I’m a cat dad and vet student here at Virginia Tech. I have lifelong experience caring for animals - I grew up with five cats, two Guinea pigs, and four birds! Petsitting for my neighbor’s dogs was my very first job as a kid and I have been doing it for friends, family, and coworkers ever since. I have experience caring for elderly and disabled animals, those with particular feeding schedules or allergies, and am comfortable administering medications for your pets as needed. I have cared for everything from dogs and cats to ferrets, rabbits, and even chickens. I have an extremely flexible academic schedule and an emergency/on-call employment schedule so let’s connect to see how I can meet your needs. If I spend the night/house sit, note that I may be in and out during the evening to take emergency calls from the clinic. I do not bring animals into my own home for the safety of my pets. My animals are fully vaccinated and on monthly preventatives for your pets’ wellness as much as mine. I request records of rabies vaccinations at minimum for all mandated animals, prefer all pets be on monthly preventatives (just communicate if they are not so I can be aware for the safety of other clients), and do not bring outside pet food/treats/etc into your home to avoid potential sickness or reactions. I stick strictly to what the “parents” ask from me and I make sure to send lots of pictures and updates along the way! :)

About: I have experience dog sitting, despite not having my own dog. My hours are mostly flexible and I will take great care of your best friend! Anything you need I can do, over long weekends, even full weeks. I can do runs, walks, play time or just simply checking in. I can handle all size dogs, no matter how tiny or giant all are welcome. I am a college student looking for a fun time with dogs while also preparing myself for my future. I will work hard and treat your dogs like the little princes and princesses they are! All dogs are special in their own ways so individual care is given to each to make sure they are cared for in the way they deserve.

About: I have owned animals my whole life. I have also worked in veterinary medicine for almost 10 years. I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician and have worked in General Practice as well as ER/ICU. I also operate an animal rescue in which I take in animals in need of medical care and once the animal is healthy, find adopters. I have taken care of numerous animals during my career. I have exceptional knowledge of medical management for animals needing medical care, medications, injections, etc. I currently work as an LVT (Licensed Veterinary Technician) part time. I operate my rescue every day of the week. I have a very flexible schedule that allows me several opportunities during the day/night to provide drop ins to a clients home for walks, medications, etc. I am typically home most of the day so animals staying in my home will have frequent access to the yard and attention from me I have a fenced in yard and a separate entrance and indoor space for pet sitting within my home. I have a finished basement with cat trees, dog toys, couches, etc to make guests staying within my home feel comfortable. Currently, I only have space for one client’s pets at a time to ensure all pets get along and are safe together. Guest within my home will not have access to my own personal pets.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for four years, starting during summer breaks and continuing ever since. I absolutely love dogs and have experience with pups of all ages and energy levels. While in college, I volunteered regularly at my local humane society, where I cared for dogs of all breeds and personalities—from shy seniors to energetic puppies. I took them on walks, organized dog day outs, and learned how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs. I bring a positive, energetic attitude and love spending time outdoors—whether it’s a long walk, a jog, or just spending time in the sun! This summer, I’ll be working part-time before starting my teaching career in the fall—I just graduated in May! With a flexible schedule and plenty of free time, pet care fits in perfectly. I’m excited to spend my summer staying active and giving pets the love and attention they deserve. I currently offer pet care in my clients’ homes, not my own. When I’m in your home, I take pride in caring not just for your pets, but also for your space—treating it with the same respect I would want for my own. About: I'm that person where if you mention you have a dog, I want to meet them! I've been dogsitting since I can remember. With my current job, if my coworkers need a dogsitter, I'm there. They rely on me to walk, feed, and care for their pups as if it was my own. I currently work a job where I only work 3-4 days a week and have every weekend off. I'm unavailable on the days I work due to 12 hour shifts, but on my off days I'm available whenever! :) I have a friendly golden retriever pup who can give your furry friend company. I also have a crate upon your request and lots of toys!!

About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember! I’ve lived with pets my entire life, and wouldn’t have it any other way! From cats and dogs to fish and frogs I’ve taken care of them all! I work part time so I have lots of flexibility for caring for your little (or not so little) family members! My busiest days are Wednesdays and Fridays but other than that there’s no longer than a 5 hour stretch of time where I’m committed elsewhere. I want to make the experience as easy for your pets as possible, I know it can be stressful for them when their humans go away. I can do whatever keeps their schedule consistent for them, by keeping their outside walk schedule and making sure their where they need to be at the end of the day!

About: I used to help rescue and take care of new born kittens and puppy’s and I’m always sure to treat ever animal with respect and care. Before moving to Blacksburg I lived with my dad. We had a total of 11 cats and 4 dogs. (Ik it’s a lot :p) I love animals. I’ve had animals my entire life. I also have been around farm animals and have took care of chicken, ducks, horses, and goats. I am current a college student but when I’m not in class I will have free time to help anytime that’s needed.
