About: I have 5 years of experience dog walking. I have been dog sitting on and off for the past few years. I have a dog of my own that I have had for 3 years. I treat your dog as if he or she was my own dog. I am very responsive while I watch the dog. I enjoy sending lots of pictures and updates to the owner. I used to have a dog named Princess who was alive for 13 years. She enjoyed snuggles a lot! I also had a dog named Harley. She belongs to my dad now. I've had my Benji Boy for 3 years now. I used to take care of Harley when my father went away on vacation. I made sure I fed her, walked her and gave her lots of attention. I also gave her treats if she was being a good listener. I feed Benji two times a day, I add water to his bowl about 4 times a day, I take him out in the backyard every 4 hours, I walk him early in the morning before I go to my day job. Benji is very friendly and loves being social with other dogs! I will make sure your dog is given lots of attention and love. I have open availability right now until I find a full time job. Please send a message to ask if I will be available during a specific holiday. I can walk your dog in the afternoon and make sure they are fed and have water in their bowls. I go to client's homes because I feel the dog will be more comfortable being in their own environment. Usually the dog is very comfortable being in their own home and is able to get comfortable with me. If there are any rules in the house, I follow them. I make sure to keep the common areas clean if I end up staying over someone's home.

“Yhakerra was so attentive and extremely caring towards both my fur babies. It was not easy either because both my kitties are in separate spaces of the house due to one of them chasing the other and hissing/growling. However, Yhakerra did amazing and handled the separate feedings/litter cleanings like a pro. She also left the house very clean and immaculate. She was even so caring that she asked if she could carry the youngest baby, Luna to the bedroom and let her sleep in the bed, which of course I was so touched that she was so sweet to accommodate the well being of the babies. About: Since the age of 7 years old I have always had a dog around my families home. Along with my family pet, I have experience taking care of dogs that range in age and size. I have experience with 6 month old puppies that need a lot of attention through 14 year old dogs that need medication given to them. Over the years, I have taken care of pets for my friends and family ranging from a day, a weekend, to a whole week. Having a dog of my own, I understand the difficulties of finding the right sitter as well as the importance of finding the right one. I am currently a Graduate student at the University of Rhode Island. For the summer, I am taking online asynchronous classes. Since my classes are asynchronous I am able to work my school schedule around my pet sitting schedule. With that being said, I still need a couple hours each day to devote to my school work. When it comes to someone else's home, I follow all the directions that are given to me. I am very versatile depending on the needs of the pet and owner. When it comes to walks, I always walk dogs with their leash and preferably a harness for long walks (but if they don't have one that is okay as well). If I bring the dog to my own home, I have a deck with a gate and a big backyard for playing.

About: I've been around all sorts of animals since I was a child, firstly with pet birds of my own, then volunteering at a farm for a number of years. Most recently, my experience as a veterinary assistant and being in school for a veterinary technician degree also gives me much knowledge in care for all sorts of animals, especially dogs and cats! I'm currently working at a veterinary hospital and have a few days where I can take time to fit pets that need attention into my schedule. Since my schedule changes regularly, my availability may change weekly, but usually does not impede on any pet that needs my attention. I have a variety of cages, leashes, harnesses, and toys for all size dogs if it is not available to the owner. Another benefit I can offer is the fact that since I also work at an animal hospital, if in the event where a pet needs attention while their owner’s are away, I have the access and contacts to help with any needs of that pet as soon as possible, with the permission of the owners.

About: I’m a recent college graduate with degrees in Education and History, and I’ll be starting my career as a teacher this September. For the I’m looking for meaningful summer work—and what could be better than spending time with animals! I’ve been caring for both my own pets and others’ for over 8 years, and I bring the same level of responsibility and attention to detail to pet sitting as I do to the classroom. I’m also experienced with a wide range of pet needs, including puppies. I am available Monday - Thursday (after 2:30) as well as Fridays and weekends (any time)! I begin teaching high school in September and availability will differ. In my own home, I spoil my little babies 🥰 I feed my cats dry food twice a day, stock their water fountain with water, keep the dry food stocked, and clean their litter boxes. I give them outside time as long as they stay close or just have the back screen door open to let them see, smell, and hear the nature. Occasionally, I will take them in walks in the kitty stroller with the dog on the leash. When taking care of other people’s cats, I treat them with the same love I would my own. I am happy to care for them in all the same ways, including spending time with them, not just running in and out to feed and clean. I also usually provide photo updates. I take care of my dog by feeding him dry food, letting him out every three hours, taking him on walks as often as possible, giving him snuggles, playing fetch, giving treats, etc. so pretty much treat my dog like a king. I am happy to do the same for you!

About: I had an Akita for almost 10 years and have had many dogs in the past. I took her on long walks and gave her baths and fed her. I would also have to give her medicine occasionally when prescribed. She was the best dog I could’ve ever asked for.
