About: I've had and taken care of a dog since I was 7 years old. Dogs were always a part of our family life. In my family and friend group I am the go-to person for pet sitting and puppy walks. I recently participated with a trainer from Ultimate K9 training in Southern Maryland with my own pup Russel who passed with flying colors and both he and I learned many new skills and tricks. Working with dogs is one of the loves of my life. I typically work a 7-5 shift at my day job but do have some flexibility during the day that I can use for a pup break. Evenings I am consistently available after 5pm. Weekend work is not a problem and I am open to helping support your much needed getaway. Love is always the first ingredient but of course we respect puppy boundaries as set by the puppy parents or how comfortable the pup is until they feel comfortable. Meals are fed to pups at the same time to make sure they are not feeling favoritism. Belly rubs and play time are also important for bonding and trust. I will send images of pets daily if the pet parent would like. Just let me know.

“ALL THE STARS!! 100% This is the 2nd time Lori has watched our rescue dog, Luna Lovegood (LuLu), only this time it was 12 days, not 4. Luna has always been timid and didn’t know how to play. Lori has a very gentle and kind dog CoCo (or was pet sitting CoCo also), and by the end of the trip they were playing everyday — Lori sent videos and I couldn’t believe my eyes!!! I may have teared up a bit!! Lori sent out countless photos and videos. She also never put Luna in her room (kennel) and Luna was allowed to sleep on her bed, CoCo’s bed, the couch, etc. Please believe this is a VERY pet friendly home, absolutely wonderful with great energy. Luna hesitated to go in on this 2nd time, but the second she saw/realized it was Lori, she was wagging her tail and VERY happy — she didn’t even say goodbye to us!! That says so much to me!! Again, Lori sent to many videos showing my Luna coming out of her shell and reassuring us that she was okay, which I always need and love!! To know your pet is okay while you’re so far away is a blessing and makes vacation SO MUCH MORE RELAXING! I didn’t have to worry about LuLu, but in the end, I worried she wouldn’t want us back!! Hahahaha!! This is so much better than putting your dog in a kennel. I 100% recommend Lori, she works with your needs, your pets needs, she is 100% involved in communication and updates. She is very easygoing and goes with the flow, if you need something, she will do it! I will NEVER schedule another vacation, until I know Lori is free to watch our beloved Luna. I 100% recommend. SO SO SO much better than any Kennel or doggy daycare. Lori provides love and kindness and understanding and all our doggies need that. Thank you Lori and Rover!!!!”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I’ve worked with big dogs but mainly small. I have puppy experience as well. I do have a small apartment with one small dog. She does get nervous around new people and new dogs but I can keep them separated until both parties are comfortable with each other. I have a dog park at my apartment complex as well. I can do dog boarding, walks and visits. I have a flexible schedule and I am pretty understanding. Please contact me with any questions :) I am full time active duty Monday through Friday normal working hours. Afternoon or evenings work best for me for visits and walks. I can do dog boarding any time of the week. I go home everyday for lunch to check in on my dog. Weekends I am usually free for anything. I live in a small apartment but pet friendly. It’s just me and my dog. She stays in her play pen while I’m at work. We go on walks morning, afternoon, and evening, and we have a fenced in dog park with tons of space.

About: As a child I've grown up with multiple animals as animals as pets, including a few dogs and a few cats. Professionally, I've had four total years taking care of different animals, which includes supervising dogs as well as helping various animals such as cats, guinea pigs, and other animals get adopted. I have had general experience feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, and over all playing with and supervising dogs. I also have had experience taking care of elderly and disabled animals, which includes but is not limited to a 19 year old cat with arthritis and kidney disease. I have experience giving animals oral medications at the correct times and have been consistently. As of right now, I am offering house sitting, drop-ins and dog walking. As of right now, all seven days of the week are generally free for me and I am home most of the time. However, there may be some days where I'm not available, such as certain holidays or family events. If something happens where I can't take care of your animal(s) (such as an emergency), I'll try to let you know ahead of time. I'll always keep your animals supervised regardless of whatever service I'm doing at the time. If your animal takes medications, I'll administer them at the correct times.

About: In my pet sitting experience, I've had the joy of welcoming 2-5 dogs into my home at a time, ranging from delightful Yorkies to energetic Aussies to lovable Pitbulls. Our household is not only dog-friendly but cat-friendly too, ensuring a welcoming space for all furry companions. It's been an incredible journey watching them interact, play, and form bonds while their owners are away. With each pet that walks through our door, I'm reminded of the unique joy and love they bring into our lives, making every day an adventure filled with wagging tails and contented purrs. I have an open schedule with plenty of time to spend playing and snuggling with your fur baby! Available for walks, play time, and boarding. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company! I can easily crate your dog and provide its own space if needed.

About: I got the love of dogs from my father. I grew up on a farm and we always had a dog around. When I moved out on my own, I always had a dog from 1987-2024. For many years I had 2 dogs at a time. Since I never had children, they were my children. I 've had cocker spaniels, a rottie and a lab. I've taken care of my friends dogs when they are out of town. I currently work f/t Mon-Fri from 7am-3pm. I am only 5 miles away, so if needed, I can run home in middle of my workday for potty break and of course a mid day snack and plenty of pettings. I have a small fenced yard (I live in a townhome, end unit) Your furbaby will go on walks with me with their leach. They can sleep on the couch, in my bed, or wherever they are most comfortable.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs of all sizes my whole life, I am comfortable around all breeds and would love to take care of anyone’s pet for a while! I’ve been taking care of my own pets for years so I know how much they need us. I have experience walking, feeding, and bathing pets of all sizes. I have also had to give my own pets medications, like pills and ear drops so I am comfortable with that, as well as bottle feeding pets. I’m playful for younger dogs and patient with older dogs. I also have experience with puppies. I know how often they must go out and how carefully they must be watched. I also know how to take care of cats! I am currently working part time as a personal trainer and am looking to fill up my days with more fun. I have lots of time to play and take care of pets! Like I mentioned I have taken care of many different pets with many different specifics. I am very patient and careful with not only pets but people as well. I am happy to follow any special requests with pets and with house rules.
