“Ellie was above and beyond. She was a very respectful and caring sitter. Our dog doesn’t do well with change and had some trouble eating while we were away and she was very kind and patient in getting her to eat. She took her on lots of walks and played with her often. I know she had a good time while we were gone and we felt very comfortable that she took the best care of our beloved girl. Ellie is very reliable and I highly recommend her!”

“Skye did a fantastic job taking care of our playful Springer Spaniel and kept us updated daily on how he was doing with photos and questions when they popped up. She was super professional and reliable and we're so excited she lives nearby so we can use her services again in the near future. Highly recommend.”

“Amy is the best sitter I’ve found on Rover. She took great care of my cat and dog, was super communicative and sent lots of photos. She will be my first choice every time from now on.”

About: Among my friends, I am well known for my love for pets - as well as for volunteering for animal-care organizations. I’ve been caring for pets for years - both professionally and for friends and fellow travelers. I’ve completed numerous house and pet sits through another website (with all 5-star reviews) and have experience with dogs of all sizes, cats, and fish. I fostered for a German Shepherd rescue in the past (GSRNC). Now, I do dog sitting occasionally for these dogs. I am able to handle 80+lbs dogs, dog reactivity, etc. I’m also comfortable with administering medications, working with separation anxiety, and caring for both seniors and puppies. I adore all kind of pets since I was a child, and cannot have one due to a lot of travelling and moving around. So very much excited about this opportunity to interact with someone furry! I am currently in between the jobs and since I have a lot of free time now - my schedule is pretty flexible. I also travel a lot these days but always happy to provide the service when I am in the area! I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I would want for my own. Safety and comfort are my top priorities—both for your pets and your space. I follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and any special instructions. I keep pets engaged with walks, playtime, cuddles, and quiet companionship, depending on their needs and energy level. In the home, I’m tidy, respectful, and mindful of privacy and boundaries. I send regular updates with photos and notes so you can relax knowing your pets and house are in good hands.

“Our fur babies were taken care of with love and fun! Mackenzie was an absolute joy allowing us to enjoy wedding festivities without worry and anxiety. About: I live an active lifestyle that involves going on walks and hikes around the beautiful Columbia Gorge. I grew up with dogs around the house and would love to take care of yours! I can provide the following services; walks, med administration, poop patrol, and expert belly rubs. Currently I am a graduate student that works from home so I am avalible on the days that I do not go to classes. With this flexible schedule, it should be easy for me to fit you and your pet during the week. I have indoor cats that I love and care for. Therefore, I will not be able bring any dog or another cat into my home.

“Robin was super easy to communicate with. Warm and loving. She updated us about our two dogs. We have an older one, who needs To move slow and a younger, big baby, with lots of energy. She took time to meet both of their needs. Thanks Robin!”

About: I have trained puppies to be mobility service dogs from when they were eight weeks old to two years old. I have also lived with dogs for the past 17 years. I am highly proficient in training basic skills (sit, down, stay, heel) and well-versed in positive reinforcement and praise-based training methods. I also have experience with exercising dogs both physically and through mental enrichment. I am currently working a Wednesday to Sunday schedule and am generally available after 5 pm on those days. I have much more daytime availability Mondays and Tuesdays. I am happy to find appropriate walks for your pets of all ages and abilities in the area. I will make sure to meet your pet's physical and mental needs and communicate clearly and effectively.
