“Libby had great communication, and great energy when she came to meet our dog before the first booking. While we were away she was good about sending updates and photos, and our house felt great once we returned.”

“Malia was great! Despite some early communication issues, she did a wonderful job and our dogs loved her. She went above and beyond in stripping the bed and washing towels before she left, and left the house in a much better state than she found it. We would definitely book with Malia again.”

“Alihna was great about her house sitting duties— letting me know her initial arrival and departure times plus mail collection, etc. — as well as the kitty care. The kits seemed to warm to her quickly and pictures sent while I was away were very reassuring. I believe they got the attention they enjoy 🤗.”

“Skye-Ann was a great sitter for our pooch, sending photos and providing updates throughout the duration of our time away. She kept us up to date on his medication, and was overall fully informative regarding walks, feedings, arrivals, and departures. Thanks, Skye-Ann!”

About: Hello, I’m Bella, and I’m excited to be a part of Rover! I have a lifelong experience in caring for cats and dogs, having grown up with them in my family. Currently, I have two wonderful dogs: Zena, a five-year-old German Shepherd, and Leo, a four-year-old Staffordshire Terrier. I treat every pet as if they were my own, prioritizing their safety and happiness. My days are filled with enjoyable walks in nearby dog-friendly areas, plenty of playtime, and cozy companionship. With a flexible schedule, I’m well-prepared to meet any special needs your pet might have. My daytime availability is quite flexible, making me an ideal choice for those who work during the day and have pets with separation anxiety or simply need a friend while you’re away. I’m particularly enthusiastic about working with puppies, having cared for them in the past and having my own. I understand the importance of a schedule and routine for puppies, as well as the extra care they require. I understand the importance of finding the right match for you and pet in a sitter, which is why I maintain open communication with my clients. I am highly responsive to messages and provide numerous photo and video updates to give you peace of mind about your pet’s well-being.
About: I'm an experienced dog sitter and former dog mom just returning to Rover and accepting new and returning clients! I have decades of experience taking care of dogs, including my own, friends', and dogs in rescues and shelters. I was the dog-walking coordinator for a dog rescue and a dog-walking volunteer for a public shelter for years. I actually grew up afraid of dogs and it was a big deal for me to start volunteering to walk strange dogs; it helped build my confidence, and I was -- and still am -- very attuned to what's going on with the creature at the other end of the leash. I believe every dog has unique needs and temperament and honor these while they're in my care to ensure they feel as secure and safe as possible. DOG SITTING AND BOARDING: I work from home as an editor, so your dog will get lots of attention and potty breaks. Your dog is welcome to join me on the couch or lie at my feet for regular pets, or chill in another room in or out of a crate. Whatever will make your dog feel most at ease while you're away. I recently lost my own 15-year-old dog, so your pup will be my sole focus (and will get lots of love and care). I have a fully fenced yard at my home for potty breaks (separate from walks/hikes). If you don't have a fully fenced yard at your home, it's no problem to take your dog for leashed potty walks as frequently as necessary.
“This is the second time we have had Aaron watch our dog and kitty. He does a great job! Sends lots of pictures and is in communication letting us know how everything is going. I feel very comfortable having him watch our animals and our house. It is great to travel and know everything is in good hands.”

“We were happy to find Tanya to help us out while we went out of town for a few days. She did a great job taking care of our two cats who require some human attention - they run the house. ;) Tanya handled everything with ease and we would love to have her cat / house sit again.”

About: 5 months of volunteer experience in a private shelter in Romania, taking care of 80+ dogs at any given time. Recently adopted one of the dogs from the shelter. Dogs and cats have always been present in my family. On M/W/F, at 8AM-2:30PM, I attend massage school in Portland. On the days I go to school, I do have periods of time, early morning and early evening, to check on your fur babies. Aside from that, my free days, Tue/Thur/Sat/Sun, are fully open for whatever frequency is needed to check on your animals. I have a fenced yard with two dogs that are social. Occasionally there is a cat present. I’m fully comfortable taking your dogs on walks, playing with them, or just sitting and keeping them company.
“What a pleasure it was to go away knowing my little man was in good hands. Mariela did a great job taking care of our Chihuahua,Bear, which at first is no easy task, but she mastered it. I would highly recommend Mariela and will use her services again in the future without hesitation. Wonderful job, everyone was happy. Thank you.”

About: I am passionate about connecting with animals, people, new places on the Earth! I've been housesitting, farming and studying herbalism and health coaching for over 15 years, and I am a verified/vetted 5-star sitter on another international pet-sitting site. I have also worked as a trained naturalist/wildlife guide and vet tech, and have extensive training in the biology, care, track and sign of mammals. Housesitting/animal care has offered me a wonderful opportunity to include animals in my life now that my own two Aussies have passed. I love meeting and getting to know your lovable pets! I love to be healthy and don't smoke anything :) I work part-time as a home health nurse with a very flexible schedule. Therefore, it's easy for me to incorporate pet-walking and housesitting into my schedule, offering lots of attention, love, and exercise/activity to meet the needs of your pets. From caring for domestic pets (dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, mice) to farm animals (chickens, ducks, goats, sheep, horses), I love to create safe and loving environments for the animals and to foster trusting relationships with them. Many of my housesitting experiences have been longterm and return clients, with some assignments lasting up to a year. Often they have included garden and farm maintenance (paid). I pride myself on leaving a home as tidy as I found it (often even more sparkly :)
About: I am a dedicated dog mom with hands on experience caring for both active and senior dogs. I love daily walks and outdoor play, and I treat every dog with the same patience, attention, and care I give my own. I work full time Monday through Friday in White Salmon with some flexibility in my schedule and I’m also willing to stay overnight to provide consistent, reliable care for your pet in the comfort of their home if needed. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time and a friendly dog who enjoys playtime and walks. I follow each pet's routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs to make sure they feel comfortable and at home.
About: Hi! My name is Madeline and I have been pet sitting my whole life and treat every animal like a family member. Dogs have always had a very special place in my heart and being able to work with dogs all the time is a dream. I love hiking/going to the park and would love the company or just a good game of fetch in the backyard. I have yet to meet a dog I didn't fall in love with. I have fostered a plethora of dogs myself and feel very comfrtable with any type of dog. My communication is direct and clear and I consider myself a highly reliable individual. I would love to get the chance to meet your four-legged best friend and treat them like one of my own! I work in big sky, but my schedule is pretty flexible. I can even bring your dog to work if you want!. If you let me know your needs I will do my best to accommodate them I am a very outgoing human that loves outdoor activity so your pet will be exercised if needed or just brought outside to sit at the park and accompany me. Depending on what your furry friend is looking for i will do my best to accommodate it. From waking up early and taking them on a walk to leaving work mid day to take them on a walk to late night exercise, I want to make sure your dog feels comfortable I live out on a ranch, so there is plenty of room for running around all. I am also a big back country skier so if you feel comfortable letting me take your dog skiing, I would do that as well but if your dog just needs a walk around the neighborhood. I can also do that.
