About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs for over 15 years for family members, neighbors, and friends. I moved from Alaska and have a very active lifestyle. I love to take animals on adventures, but also love cuddling on the couch at the end of the day. I work full time as a teacher but I am comfortable fitting pet care into my daily schedule. I can come home at lunch if needed to care for pets or accommodate to fit your needs. I have a huge fenced yard and tons of land to run around and enjoy. I have two friendly dogs and a cat who love other animals. When caring for pets in your home, I will follow your directions and make sure your animals are cared for as if they were my own.

I work from home, so I am able to give your pet any care that they may need. Whether it’s multiple potty breaks, or walks, I’ll be there! Just like a child, I will do what you require for your pet. About: Hello!! My name is Hannah and I have a lot of free time heading up to when I leave for college in the fall. I LOVE all animals, I was born and raised on a farm and have always been surrounded by animals. I am looking forward to continuing my career in the animal care field in the future. I currently have 5 dogs so it limits any personal home stays but I would love to help you with your fur baby!! I currently work part time in the afternoons (about 4-9pm) and only have a college class Thursday mornings so I am fairly flexible and have plenty of time to hang with your animals! I wish visits at my house were possible but it is already quite hectic with it being full to the brim with my animals. I am happy to make any accommodations in your home if needed.

About: I grew up surrounded by all sizes of dogs since I was 2. I have had 2 dogs of my own, a border collie and collie/poodle mix, as well as 1 cat! I love all animals and would love nothing more than to spend all my free time with them! I have a very flexible work schedule and am able to work from home a couple of days a week! I will have a lot of time to fit your needs into my schedule! I understand what it is like to let strangers into your home to take care of your pets and will do everything I can to make your and your friend feel comfortable. I love to take long walks, throw balls for hours, go for runs and spend time cuddling with tour furry friends. About: I have been around dogs all my life, and have learned how to properly train them through experience and good mentors. I also have watched much of The Dog Whisperer & other training videos online. I’ve seen critiques of Cesar Milan, with people saying he’s unnecessarily enforcing dominance roles; I only support dominance hierarchies to the extent that it helps the dog. If a dog believes they must be in control because they don’t have a good leader, they will be more stressed out which is unfair to the dog. I will never be unnecessarily rough with your pet, but I may do exercises like leash training to remind them that I am in control, and they don’t need to be in extreme protector mode. I have used this experience with success on friends’ and acquaintances’ dogs, as well as my own. He sits for over a minute until I tell him to Come, for example. Our housemate had a dying dog and I was there alongside him helping her care for him until his last moments. I also believe in reincarnation which helps me really see and have extra patience with each dog as I see them as a soul who is here to learn and experience. My husband and I have a relaxed lifestyle that allows us to be home most days other than side jobs and catering shifts on the weekends. We are in the midst of moving a couple hours east of here, albeit very slowly, so if your pup is with us for a while there’s a chance he or she will get to see the rural area of Middlesex VA and interact with some chickens! Both areas are far away from a main highway or there is a good fence. I have two friendly dogs, a Pomeranian and a whippet mix. We let them in and out as they choose, and have a couple acres for them to run and play on. I love going for runs and walks and would happily bring your pup along, depending on his or her energy level. I have a healthy understanding of how to keep a healthy leash contact with the dog, and if need be, I am quite strong if I need to keep the dog from running.

About: I've worked with dogs and cats professionally for over seven years now and also have experience with training. I love getting to know each dog and learning what they like best, whether that’s a quiet walk in the park or some snuggles on the couch and fetch in the backyard. I have experience with all types of dogs and always treat them as if they were my own. I’m currently working part time so that will give me plenty of time to play with your pups! I’d love to gain regular clients that I can provide reliability for. I always work to ensure they safety of your pet and would love to know what you expect of your dog (whether that’s not jumping/pulling on walk, ect) and with a knowledge in training I can help reinforce the behaviors you like to see! I’m also very good at reading dog body language and love to see your pups feeling comfortable and confident in our adventures.
