My name is Dustin and I am a long-time pet parent to all sorts of furry and and finned creatures. I currently have two Golden Retrievers, Pippa and Clark, but have cared for dogs, ferrets, cats, and fish over the years. My wife and I take pet care seriously and I will listen to your instructions, follow your feeding and walking schedule, and provide you with real time updates via text/email (your preference). Most days my wife will attend visits with me because she loves animals more than anyone else I know. We understand the importance of trusting your pet sitter. We are a military family and have lived around the world, each move requiring us to find and trust a new sitter for our pups. It is this experience that made me want to start pet-sitting and walking for other families who just want someone they can trust to care for their pets while they are at work, on vacation, or otherwise away from home. I have my phone available and on me just about 24-7, so I will quickly respond to your questions and messages. I am very experienced in walking large, reactive dogs. My dogs are both over 80 pounds and I walk them together 3 to 4 times each day. Pippa, our girl, is a reactive dog. This means I have learned how to calm her and to avoid situations that will trigger her. My experience with my own dogs means that I am ready to take care of your dogs in the same way. I will learn how to use your harness/collar and leash and follow all of your instructions on where and when to walk your dogs. Additionally, I know the importance of maintaining a schedule of feeding and play. Clark, our boy, plays every waking moment of the day. I am always up for a game of fetch or tug and will work to tire your pup so they rest after I leave. Both of our dogs have a routine for feeding and it’s important to me to follow your pet’s routine.
