About: I have 2 dogs currently, and have had lots of different pets growing up. I have cat and dog sat for family and neighbors. I have also taken care of and helped out with foster kitties. I am currently working part time in the evenings and doing online school. I am available some full days of the week, every morning, mid day, or overnight. I am currently not able to bring client pets to my home. I am able to go to client houses during the day or overnight as needed.

About: I'm an animal caregiver with 5+ years of experience with all types of animals including exotic pets. I also have Veterinary Assistant education! Im currently a Pharmacy Technician so i do have medication knowledge. I've raised and had many animals since the age of 10, I currently have cats, dogs, exotic animals and reptiles! I have experience with medication management reactive dogs, high anxiety management, senior care for cats, dogs and of course puppy care! I would love to have the opportunity to get to know you and your furry companion🐾. Pet care fits amazingly into my schedule, as I do have a full time job but i have plenty of time before, after and even during to care for your furry companion. I care for your pets the same way as mine, mine are spoiled rotten and get lots of attention and care. During my time in your home you can expect your pet to be loved, well fed and of course always safe. They'll get ample amount of time to use the potty outside, plenty of time for playtime and of course a resting period.

About: Hi! I’m Vanessa, and I’ve spent over a year working hands-on at a professional dog daycare and boarding facility here in Orange. That means I’m used to caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels — from bouncy puppies to mellow seniors. I’m currently offering dog walks and drop-in visits only. Whether your pup needs a quick potty break, a structured walk, or just some loving company while you’re away, I bring the same reliability and safety focus I use at the daycare. I also love adding enrichment — things like sniff-walks, interactive games, or even “report card” style updates so you know how their day went. I’m currently working a part-time job and my hours differ week to week. Some days it’s 7 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. and other days it’ll be from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m! Mondays are my busiest day of the week, so I can’t fit much into that day, but you can always still message me and I can see what I can do! In a client’s home, I always follow your pup’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. For drop-in visits, that might include letting them out for a potty break, refreshing food and water, giving medications if needed, and spending quality time playing, cuddling, or just keeping them company. I make sure to leave everything tidy and send photo updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. For dog walks, I focus on safety and fun. I use secure leashes/harnesses, keep a close eye on the environment, and adjust the pace to match your dog’s age and energy level — whether that’s a brisk stroll or a relaxed sniff walk. My goal is always to make sure your pet gets the exercise, attention, and care they deserve while giving you peace of mind.

About: Hi there! I'm an experienced and loving caretaker for dogs, cats, and all kinds of pets: including chickens, horses, and even the occasional bunny! I don’t do this for the money, I truly find joy in playtime, long walks, and making sure animals feel safe, happy, and loved. I must’ve been a dog in a past life! I know trusting a new sitter can feel nerve-wracking, so I always like to start with a phone call and an in-person meet & greet to make sure we’re a great fit for each other. Whether your pet needs cuddles, structure, medicine, exercise, or just good company, I’ve got it covered. A couple of notes: I’m not able to accept bookings in homes that use synthetic air fresheners or otherwise strong/harsh scents (unless it can be unplugged or not used beforehand) as it disrupts my ability to be comfortable! I generally prefer stays longer than a single night but will consider one offs especially for repeat clients! Thank you for understanding. I am currently living with my partner in Charlottesville VA I happen to work remotely from my computer with a schedule I determine myself. So I am very flexible and able to give lots of attention. I know it can be nerve wracking for your pets and I always meet your pet where they are. I understand that all pets are different with varying emotional and physical needs. I am very empathetic, understanding, and attentive when it comes to adjusting my care per animal. I am active person and love to take dogs on walks but if that’s not their jam, I am happy to curl up with a book on the couch with them.

About: I believe you treat all animals like if they are your pet. I’m known to overly spoil my animals with love, funny voices, and care. I will keep you updated with pictures and videos and your pets are in exceptional care. I have an open schedule to cover their needs and care while I’m on duty and they become my family for the time they are with me. I’ve been taking care of cats and dogs for over 15 years typically small and medium sized dogs. I do have experience with some larger breeds on basic essential needs and care. I went through a battle of IVDD with my French Bulldog who passed which took a role on how I view the time with animals in general. I have an open schedule and extremely accommodating to your needs. I can work around the necessary schedule. I work this full time and if I don’t have any sitting I also run deliveries. I have a safe and trusted environment. I have one dog who gets along with other dogs but he is hyper and wants to play and nap consistently. I have a cat who does her own thing so my house is relaxed. No little kids and just me and my partner which she works from home so there’s always someone at home.

I have a breadth of experience caring for my former pets and my home, as well as house and pet sitting for friends and for my clients. I grew up on a farm and cared for goats, horses, cows, dogs, cats, sheep, and poultry. I make an excellent house/petsitter due to my experience with and love for animals and my tidy and loving personality! ** I charge $45 / night for 1-6 night house stays, but have a sliding scale for longer sits (negotiable at the time of request). I am open to traveling farther distances for 1+ week sits. I am attending VCU for my MSW M-F from 8-4, so I have limited availability for midday potty breaks/check-ins during the week, but I have open availability most evenings and weekends. For boarding requests, my partner works from my home and is available to offer potty breaks/check-ins for pets while I’m at school. I’m happy with staying overnight for housesitting or sharing my home for boarding! I have the utmost care and respect for my clients pets and homes and treat them as if they were my own.
