“Deb was terrific, her home was wonderful wirh a nice large yard set far back off the road. She was very accomodating considering our last minute request for an overnight stay for our pup Dyson. He came home pretty happy!”

“Cindy and her husband are very welcoming and warm, their property is perfect for dogs! Cindy stayed in touch the entire time we were away, keeping us up to date on how the days went, which was so sweet and reinsured us that our puppy is well taken care of and happy.”

“We travel frequently and so happy to have found Amy and Patrick to add to our list of dogsitters! They are both so kind and welcomed our dog into their home! They provided pictures and updates frequently! Our dog always looked happy playing or walking! We will definitely be booking again!”

“Michael was very accommodating regarding booking my pup’s stay being that it was somewhat last minute. This was the first time I had booked with Michael, and everything was great. He was very attentive and communicated with me throughout the three-day stay. He did Pup Painting with her, and she came home with her masterpiece! I know my baby was taking care of, and I will definitely be booking with him again in the future!”
“Betsy took excellent care of our dog, as usual. She sent regular photo updates and took him on walks as well as some special adventures. We always trust her and Ron to look after our dog as their own. He’s always comfortable and at home with them.”

“Krista was super helpful even with my request being last minute. Kept us updated on the status of our two pups the entire time! Couldn’t have asked for more! Definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs officially 4 years ago. Since I came to USA, usually taking care of some friends dogs when they needed… I’m currently working part time as a nanny and pet sitting! I have a beautiful 1 yo daughter who absolutely loves pets and I always take her with me I mostly don’t pet sit in my house. I do feeding and playtime in the owners house, walking too, I like to let them sniff and explore..
“Tania and her family took amazing care of our Mac! We didn’t worry once during our time away, as we knew he was in great hands. Tania is a great communicator, and sent us many pictures of our baby throughout the weekend. When we got there to pick him up, he was in no rush to leave. What a great feeling!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life! Mostly Pits, but comfortable caring for any breed, big or small. I have experience with trained and untrained dogs, hyper puppies, and senior dogs that need a little more patience than most. I also have experience caring for dogs that suffer from Tonic-Clonic (grand mal) seizures. I can also administer medication if needed. Rover is a part time job that also doubles as experience under my belt considering i’m going to school to become a vet technician. Personally pet care has always been apart of my daily life including cat care: feeding, enrichment, cleaning all bowls and liter box daily, bonding time(cuddles), even practicing tricks! (my cat can sit, spin, and go up on her hind feet all for a treat). Dog care includes: walking, feeding, outdoor and indoor enrichment, bathing, brushing etc. Im comfortable with pets in my home and also going to the clients home. I have 3 main areas in my home that I utilize for pet care. my finished basement which includes 2 separate rooms and a full bathroom, my backyard which is fully fenced with no grass. Lastly, the attic floor which includes my bedroom. If your pet is more hyper, I’d care for them in the basement since it has more space for zoomies and playing with toys. If your furbaby is more lazy and chill, we can relax in my bedroom!
“What can I say!, I am so glad that I chose Stacy to care for my dogs. She treated them like if they were part of the family. She kept me updated often and sent lots of pictures! I 10/10 recommend!!”

“Very pleasant couple that took care of Georgia while we had a small weekend getaway! They were very attentive to Georgia and gave her long walks. We were kept up to date with photos also which was nice!”

“We couldn't have asked for a better person to watch our Golden Doodle! From the moment we dropped her off, we knew she was in great hands. Lauren was incredibly attentive, providing regular updates and pictures that put our minds at ease. Our pup came home happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”
“Billie did Ana amazing job with our two seniors. We’re always nervous to travel without them because they have their needs and routines that they’re very particular about but you’d think they knew Billie forever with how they settled in. Billie kept in constant contact and sent pictures and updates which helped us enjoy our time away knowing they were safe and being loved. Would definitely recommend Billie for anyone looking for a sitter!”

“Tanya and David were the best dog sitters they treated whiskey and Tequila as their own making sure they were comfortable every minute of this day they had a very extended period of one month and they sent me pictures and videos to assure me that they were being taken care of which they were and the best method that is possible they were very well taken care of I would recommend Tanya and David a thousand times over they have a very nice backyard with tequila and whiskey were able to run and enjoy time outside I highly recommend Tonya and David for dog sitting service. 10 star service.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Oyster Point
Ashley, Kyle and family welcomed Teddy and us and made all of us feel comfortable. Teddy noticed us leaving but didn't fuss much as he had a couple of children to play with. It was only a two night booking, but we were happy to receive a pic of him enjoying himself on Saturday. Pickup went smooth. Teddy and all his belongings were packed and waiting for us. Ashley gave a little report of his stay, encluding his eating and potty breaks. If we are back in the Lancaster area again, we'll be looking for Ashley & Kyle on Rover. I'm sure Teddy would be happy too. Thank you!

There is nobody better if you love your dog. Lexzee cares more about my dog than most people do about humans. She is kind, considerate, deliberate and loves these dogs. She makes my dog feel right at home every time she goes there. I will Never leave her with anyone else. Five stars aren’t enough.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Oyster Point home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Oyster Point.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Oyster Point sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
