Where your fur baby is family
Our family of animal lovers includes me, my husband, and our two children—a 9-year-old son and a 7-year-old daughter. Caring for pets has always been a part of our lives, and we truly enjoy welcoming furry guests into our home. Over the years, my husband and I have shared our lives with a beloved cat and two Golden Retrievers who all left too soon. We have experienced every stage of pet ownership, from energetic puppies to senior companions. We recently said goodbye to our Golden Retriever of 13½ years, and we are now without any pets in our home, leaving it too quiet! My husband and I were raised in pet-friendly homes and have never known life without animals. We understand how important it is to find trustworthy care for your pet, and we will treat your fur baby with the same love, attention, and affection we give our own. Our home features a fully fenced backyard with a secure 54-inch fence, providing plenty of space for safe outdoor play. We live in a quiet development with little through traffic, creating a calm and pet-friendly environment. We also have a swimming pool, and with your permission, your dog may enjoy supervised swim time. For safety, the pool is protected by an automatic cover whenever it is not in use. During the school year, I work as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a neighboring school district, and my husband works as a supervisor. Together, we provide a responsible, reliable, and loving home where your pet can feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you're away—whether for a vacation, work trip, or just a day of care. Our kids will provide an extra level of love and attention when your pets visit our home. We will never host other dogs while your dogs are in our care. We host one family at a time or one group trip at a time (could consist of your pets and your friends pets). Please message us with any questions!

Ashley has always had pets of her own. She is very loving and has taken very good care of them. They have always been more than pets, they are her family. She takes everything she decides to do very seriously. Ashley will be a fantastic addition to the Rover team.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into our family’s routine. During the school year, the children are at school, and I am at work. My husband works swing shift, which will allow him to be home most days (M-F) with your pet(s). When he works night shift, he sleeps during the day, while the kids and I are away. In the evenings, we may or may not have baseball or gymnastics, but on nights off, we are home to enjoy the evening together. When it's time to relax, your pet can join us for quiet movie nights on the couch and enjoy all the comforts of a loving family environment. Because pets are incorporated into our daily activities, they'll receive consistent supervision, affection, and engagement throughout the day—making them feel like part of the family while you're away.

As an educator and parent, I understand that every child—and every fur baby—is unique. I provide personalized care tailored to each pet's individual needs, personality, and daily routine. In our home, pets are welcomed as part of the family and included in our day-to-day activities while receiving plenty of supervision, attention, exercise, and affection. I work closely with pet owners to ensure consistency in care by following established routines, including feeding schedules, medication administration, potty breaks, exercise needs, and any special instructions or accommodations. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where each pet feels happy, secure, and right at home.
