Hi there! We are Tara & Ben. We live in East Hempfield Township with a large fenced in back yard. We know how stressful it can be to leave your pet behind when traveling. We have had such wonderful personal experiences with Rover.com as customers that we decided to become hosts in 2020. We try to keep the maximum weight of our visitors at 30 pounds as we specialize in small breeds and senior care. When staying with us, your dogs will truly have a home away from home. We love to go for daily walks and spend lots of time playing in the back yard. If it's okay with you, we welcome them onto the furniture and even let them share our bed. We can't imagine living a single day without a pet in our home and we will love yours as if they are our own.

Tara and Ben were Great with my buddy Max. Pictures they sent always showed and happy contented littile guy. Definitly Very Highly Recommend and will leave Max again in the future.
Tara and her husband did a fantastic job looking after my dog, Barley, while I was travelling. There was excellent communication, photo and video updates, and a good mix of activities during Barley’s stay. He came back a happy boy and will miss all the friends he made at Tara’s place!
Tara and her husband took wonderful care of our new dog! Our dog is a rescue from a puppy mill and was anxious and is currently being house trained. Their kindness and patience with our dog made are days away stress free. We loved the pictures they sent us of our sweet girl! This was the first time that we used Rover and we will happily continue!
Rhyla had a great time with Tara and her communication was great!
Maddie had a great stay with Tara! She came home happy, tired, and looking forward to next time 😁

Schedule
We both work hybrid schedules which leaves us with a lot of time to spend with the pups and allows us to be fairly flexibility for drop-off/pick-up times.

Safety, trust & environment
We love to be at home with the pups and will spend as much time together in the fenced-in backyard as the weather allows. Each dog will have it's own room during meal times. If your dog is accustomed to a crate, you are welcome to bring one.

A typical day
We love playing in the fenced in back yard with balls and toys. There is a beautiful path just beyond our property that leads through a park. It is perfect for walks. There’s also a great wooded area for hiking within a 5 minute drive.
