I currently have a 6-year-old Bichon Shih Tzu who is a big part of my family, so I’m very comfortable with daily walks, playtime, cuddles, and keeping a pup happy and comfortable. I have an enclosed fenced in backyard and beaches and nature parks/(dog park) are in close vicinity to my home. I am currently available full time to take care of your fur baby. I offer both daytime and overnight boarding services in my home for up to 2 dogs, house sitting services, drop-in visits, & dog walking. Pets in my care would be on a feeding and walk schedule/itinerary that is prepared for them by their owner. Of course playtime and loads of attention and fun will be incorporated into their daily routine! Owners can bring their dog's favorite chew toy or pet bed to make them feel more comfy along with any other supplies deemed necessary. Pets I am watching are more than welcome to sleep on my couch or bed. I am also happy to oblige client requests for photo & video updates of their pets for the duration of their stay.
About: Owned dogs since I was a child, Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Irish Red & White Setter and a Chihuahua. Experienced with golden doodles and labs. Currently getting my pilots Licence’s and enjoy reading books I’m currently time building for my commercial Licence whenever the weather is good around 5 hours a day when possible. About: I am passionate about having happy pets and Pet Parents. I would treat each dog as if they were my own. My two fur babies include two ShihZu/terrior mixes Rugby and Veuve. Having my own dogs helps me understand on a personal level the type of care each pet parent would want for their family member. In my experience I have dog sat for a puppy Doodle for a family friend named Allison , an older Doodle named Bryland owned by my friend Ryan also for a puppy named Molly who needed supervision after a medical procedure . About: I've had many different dogs over the years: labs, pit bull mixes, miniature pinscher, and german shepherds. I especially love GSDs and am very comfortable walking and taking care of them. I've dog walked/sat for a Rhodesian ridgeback mix as well as a springer spaniel. I was also owner to rescue dogs with severe anxiety. Overall, I'm comfortable with many different dogs! I'm currently working online, so I’m pretty flexible most weekdays. I'm often out and about finding new walking spots and exploring the neighborhoods. I have access to a car, so it's easy for me to stop by. I understand the safety precautions necessary to having a dog in the area with street crossing and other pedestrians and dogs. She spent the night in our house with him, took him out multiple times a day, fed and played with him, while sending us pictures and keeping us updated throughout our entire trip. “Michelle was absolutely great taking care of our little one and our home while we were gone for 13 days. She is a rare find and a truly calm, gentle soul. She definitely earned all her great reviews. We did a meet and greet first where she came to our home and we knew after that meeting that she was the one! Finding a great pet/house sitter is harder than it seems. So many on Rover don't really seem to understand the meaning of house sitting. It means you actually live in the house with the fur babies not leave every 4 hours and be gone all day. Rest assured Michelle will live in your house so your anxious fur baby remains in their comfort zone and routine. I work from home so I wanted to mimic that level of human presence that out little guy has become accustomed to and she was able to provide that. Michelle took care of little chores like watering plants and feeding our fish, but most importantly she took care of our little baby with plenty of play time and constant companionship. She was very responsive over messenger even though we were in another country. And when we came home the house was perfectly clean and in order. We highly recommend Michelle for pet/house sitting and we will certainly be using her again!”
