About: Owned dogs since I was a child, Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Irish Red & White Setter and a Chihuahua. Experienced with golden doodles and labs. Currently getting my pilots Licence’s and enjoy reading books I’m currently time building for my commercial Licence whenever the weather is good around 5 hours a day when possible. Usually busy at night around 5-8ish otherwise free. I have a tall fenced in yard where I play with my dog or walk him around my neighborhood. Otherwise he sits with me while I study or read.

I work full time where I commute Monday-Friday. Weekends I’m home. My Fiancé also works full time but he gets out a little earlier than I do. For weekend stays we are available to give your furry family the most attention and care. If there is need during the week I’m usually away from home for 10 hours during the day including my commute time to and from work. We will walk and feed them before we leave in the morning and as soon as either of us gets home will do the same and then again before bedtime. In our home, pets are cared for in a calm, safe environment. We live on the second floor of a house in a suburban neighborhood with sidewalks, which allows for safe, structured walks. While we don’t have direct yard access, we make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and attention. I also have a senior cat who is naturally shy and takes time to warm up, so I’m very understanding of pets who may be anxious or need a slower, more gentle approach. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet time. I’m attentive to their behavior and needs, and I always aim to make them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.

About: I am a Mom of two adult girls and have had dogs and cats as pets my entire life. My home is a loving, caring, safe and nurturing environment. Your pet will be cared for and loved as one of our family. I am home all day and your fur baby will under my constant watch and supervision. The day will include exercise and fun playing. I take safety very seriously and being a Beagle mom I’m fully aware of possible dangers and escape artists. I will never have more than 3 guests at my home at one time and even that is a rarity. I always conduct a meet and greet first, usually at Heckscher Park where I am sure everyone is friendly with each other and well behaved. My ultimate goal is to provide a happy, safe, enjoyable and loving stay for your baby so that your time away can be relaxing and fun as well. My guests will become part of the family when they stay with me - whether it’s out to the park or beach or watching TV or just relaxing. I am with my guests all day and have a double door and gate system and camera for security. Pups have their own couch and play area in my kitchen with large sunny windows to look out.

For the past 3 years I have been training my dog, currently with assistance from a trainer. He was fearful-reactive and is now an amazing service dog in training. I have been a volunteer at the world’s largest no-kill shelter for 2 years now. I have handled dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I have worked with blind and senior dogs. I have run puppy play groups, as well as puppy mill, senior, and teen play groups. some behavioral challenges in dogs that I have worked with include: fearful; reactive; food and/or object possessive; stranger danger; seperation anxiety; dog vs dog aggression; strong leadership; mouthy; and more i’m sure i’m forgetting. I have taken several extensive dog training classes to improve my skill and knowledge. I was the first 16 year old to reach one of the most advanced dog levels. I am very well-versed in understanding dog body language. I have dealt with sick dogs as well as dogs with skin conditions. I have helped get the neighbors dog to eat, as well as go potty and play, and dog walked for several clients. I also have experience with cats from the shelter as i have taken advanced feline behavior classes. I am able to understand cat body language fairly well. I have worked with cats as well as kittens, and cat sat several times. I can care for, and clean up after, dogs and/or cats. I will always respect your pets boundaries. I am currently an undergrad with the goals of becoming a veterinarian! I will genuinely treat your fur babies as my own. I will ensure everything is as it was when I came, as well as closing and locking any doors I used. I will dispose of animal waste as instructed. On walks I have a steady balance and strong leash hold to ensure the dog stays with me. I may carry treats with me for minor training/intervention (if allowed and if the dog pulls or something like that). If your dog is scared of certain things or creatures I will take precautions to avoid anything triggering to the dog. Lastly, I will certainly make sure the pet(s) feel loved, happy, and relaxed.

I've had my husky, Togo, spend the week with me multiple times while my dad has been on vacation or just because I wanted to spend time with him while I was up at school in my DPT program or in undergrad.
