Absolutely incredible. I needed a sitter for my pup last minute and Jess went out of her way above and beyond to squeeze in a meet and greet as well as watching my furbaby. Super sweet, punctual, great communication and absolutely love and care for my furbaby. Highly recommend and would definitely rebook with when needed.

Ava was amazing with teddy & louie. She kept in contact with me the entire time, sent pics of them all cuddling. When I arrived home the house was the same way I left it nice and clean. My boys are a hand full and she did amazing with them. We are definitely using Ava S again. Teddy & Louie looked well taken care of from walks and treats and love. Thanks again Ava

About: I have experience dog sitting for more than 8 years. I have experience working with companion animals in veterinary clinics as a vet assistant and am currently a veterinary student at the Long Island university. I am currently not working as I am a student so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets after class which will end before noon on most days. I would make sure to care for your pets as if they were my own by closely sticking to their normal routines and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I am respectful to client’s home and always provide updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you are away.

Lissette was soooo great from the start. This is my first time using Rover and having someone stay at my apartment with my babies, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Lissette made me feel comfortable from the beginning. She responded right away every time and was willing to come meet my pups immediately. She was very respectful, polite and professional. Sent me pictures of my babies every day with messages to let me know they were ok and happy. She kept my place clean and exactly how I had left it. I will definitely be reaching out to Lissette on Rover again for my furniture trips! 💜

About: I have been helping my friends with their dogs for years and have immense patience for playing with puppies and older dogs. I have house sat for dogs that get up at the crack of dawn and taken my friends' dogs for plenty of late night walks. I have also cleaned up all kinds of pet bathroom mishaps so I'm not afraid to work with dogs that aren't totally house broken I am currently job hunting so I have a lot of free time right now for both daytime drop ins for feeding and walks as well as any necessary overnight stays I make sure to take any dog I'm watching for at least a 10-15 minute walk several times a day I think just letting them out to go to the bathroom and immediately going back in isn't really enough exercise. Some of my friends have a fenced in backyards so after checking that both doors are closed I will sit outside with their dogs while they runs around and throw things for them to play with.

I’m comfortable with all breeds, from playful puppies to senior pets needing gentle attention. You can count on me to treat your pet like family while keeping them safe, happy, and loved. I’m also comfortable administering medications, reading pet body language, and making sure each pet’s physical and emotional needs are met. I’m available to provide pet care on weekends, with some weekday availability as well. I can accommodate walks, drop-ins, or house sitting, following your pet’s routine for feeding, exercise, and play. Whether it’s a quick visit or an overnight stay, your pets will receive attentive, safe, and loving care. When I care for pets in their own home, my top priority is keeping them comfortable, safe, and happy in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely—feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions—to reduce stress while their family is away. As a first-year veterinary student with 3 years of animal hospital experience, I’m confident handling pets of all ages and needs, including seniors and those on medication. I pay close attention to behavior and health so I can notice if something seems off. Whether it’s a quick drop-in, a walk, or overnight care, I make sure every pet gets plenty of love, attention, and gentle reassurance. My goal is to make your time away worry-free by treating your pets with the same care and respect I’d give my own.

About: Hi! My name is Nicole and I have over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes. I was raised in a home full of dogs. Since I was a young girl, my mother has been a professional dog breeder of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, so I grew up helping care for five or more pups at a time. This lifelong exposure has given me a deep understanding of dog behavior, care, and training from a very young age. In addition to my personal experience, I’ve worked at a doggy daycare where I gained even more expertise in training, administering medications, grooming, and providing attentive, loving care. Whether it’s a high energy puppy or a senior dog needing special attention, I’m confident and capable in providing tailored care. I’m currently based in Huntington NY where I offer a safe and welcoming home environment for dog boarding. I live in a pet friendly space with my calm and friendly Chihuahua named Coco who loves having visitors. Your dog will receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection in a peaceful supervised setting. I now have open availability throughout the week and weekends, making it easy to accommodate your pup’s needs whether for daytime care, overnight stays, or extended visits. I wholeheartedly have lots of fun while looking after dogs of all kinds, and it is my priority to keep your fur baby safe, happy and healthy! I am looking forward to connecting with you! 🦴🐶🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. My schedule varies from week to week depending on bookings and client needs, but I currently have an open and flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize pet care throughout the day. Whether it's early morning walks, midday playtime, or evening feedings and cuddles, I build my day around making sure each dog gets the attention, structure, and affection they need. Whether caring for pets in my home or my client’s, I always aim to create a calm, loving, and safe environment tailored to each dog’s personality and routine. Dogs staying with me enjoy a cozy, pet-friendly space with plenty of room to relax and play. I live with my sweet, well-behaved Chihuahua named Coco who loves canine visitors and gets along with all breeds. I provide regular walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of affection throughout the day. I follow the pet parent’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, or special care routines to ensure consistency and comfort. When caring for dogs in their own home, I prioritize maintaining their regular routines and environment. I make sure feedings, walks, and any special care are handled just as requested. I treat every client’s home with respect and make sure their pets are safe, content, and well cared for while they’re away. Whether at my place or yours, I always send updates with photos and videos so you can feel confident and connected while your pet is in my care.

About: I am a Mom of two adult girls and have had dogs and cats as pets my entire life. My home is a loving, caring, safe and nurturing environment. Your pet will be cared for and loved as one of our family. I am home all day and your fur baby will under my constant watch and supervision. The day will include exercise and fun playing. I take safety very seriously and being a Beagle mom I’m fully aware of possible dangers and escape artists. I will never have more than 3 guests at my home at one time and even that is a rarity. I always conduct a meet and greet first, usually at Heckscher Park where I am sure everyone is friendly with each other and well behaved. My ultimate goal is to provide a happy, safe, enjoyable and loving stay for your baby so that your time away can be relaxing and fun as well. My guests will become part of the family when they stay with me - whether it’s out to the park or beach or watching TV or just relaxing. I am with my guests all day and have a double door and gate system and camera for security. Pups have their own couch and play area in my kitchen with large sunny windows to look out.

About: HIGHLY EXPERIENCED WITH DOGS THAT HAVE BEHAVIORAL ISSUES!! Eager to work! :) I have grown up with, and helped care for, dogs my whole life. For the past 3 years I have been training my dog, currently with assistance from a trainer. He was fearful-reactive and is now an amazing service dog in training. I have been a volunteer at the world’s largest no-kill shelter for 2 years now. I have handled dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I have worked with blind and senior dogs. I have run puppy play groups, as well as puppy mill, senior, and teen play groups. some behavioral challenges in dogs that I have worked with include: fearful; reactive; food and/or object possessive; stranger danger; seperation anxiety; dog vs dog aggression; strong leadership; mouthy; and more i’m sure i’m forgetting. I have taken several extensive dog training classes to improve my skill and knowledge. I was the first 16 year old to reach one of the most advanced dog levels. I am very well-versed in understanding dog body language. I have dealt with sick dogs as well as dogs with skin conditions. I have helped get the neighbors dog to eat, as well as go potty and play. I also have experience with cats from the shelter as i have taken advanced feline behavior classes. I am able to understand cat body language fairly well. I have worked with cats as well as kittens. I can care for, and clean up after, dogs and/or cats. I will always respect your pets boundaries. I will genuinely treat your fur babies as my own. My dedication and passion truly is to ALL animals. 🩷 I am a full time college student. I regularly update my calendar to show my availability. Make sure to check there! Can’t wait to hear from you :) I will make sure your pet has fresh food and water, as well as making sure there is nothing clearly dangerous left out that the pet could hurt themselves with or eat. I will ensure everything is as it was when I came, as well as closing and locking any doors I used. I will dispose of animal waste as instructed. On walks I have a steady balance and strong leash hold to ensure the dog stays with me. I may carry treats with me for minor training/intervention (if allowed and if the dog pulls or something like that). If your dog is scared of certain things or creatures I will take precautions to avoid anything triggering to the dog. Lastly, I will certainly make sure the pet(s) feel loved, happy, and relaxed.

Taylor did such an amazing job with our two pups over a multiple day/night house sitting. She was extremely communicative, organized and showed such love and care for the dogs. They are pretty active dogs and she was totally game for long walks, play, etc. She also took great care of the house and left it in better shape than she found it. Can’t say enough good things and I think our doggos miss her already.
