About: I have experience dog sitting for more than 8 years. I have experience working with companion animals in veterinary clinics as a vet assistant and am currently a veterinary student at the Long Island university. I am currently not working as I am a student so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets after class which will end before noon on most days. I would make sure to care for your pets as if they were my own by closely sticking to their normal routines and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I am respectful to client’s home and always provide updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you are away.

About: I have been helping my friends with their dogs for years and have immense patience for playing with puppies and older dogs. I have house sat for dogs that get up at the crack of dawn and taken my friends' dogs for plenty of late night walks. I have also cleaned up all kinds of pet bathroom mishaps so I'm not afraid to work with dogs that aren't totally house broken I am currently job hunting so I have a lot of free time right now for both daytime drop ins for feeding and walks as well as any necessary overnight stays I make sure to take any dog I'm watching for at least a 10-15 minute walk several times a day I think just letting them out to go to the bathroom and immediately going back in isn't really enough exercise. Some of my friends have a fenced in backyards so after checking that both doors are closed I will sit outside with their dogs while they runs around and throw things for them to play with.

About: HIGHLY EXPERIENCED WITH DOGS THAT HAVE BEHAVIORAL ISSUES!! Eager to work! :) I have grown up with, and helped care for, dogs my whole life. For the past 3 years I have been training my dog, currently with assistance from a trainer. He was fearful-reactive and is now an amazing service dog in training. I have been a volunteer at the world’s largest no-kill shelter for 2 years now. I have handled dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I have worked with blind and senior dogs. I have run puppy play groups, as well as puppy mill, senior, and teen play groups. some behavioral challenges in dogs that I have worked with include: fearful; reactive; food and/or object possessive; stranger danger; seperation anxiety; dog vs dog aggression; strong leadership; mouthy; and more i’m sure i’m forgetting. I have taken several extensive dog training classes to improve my skill and knowledge. I was the first 16 year old to reach one of the most advanced dog levels. I am very well-versed in understanding dog body language. I have dealt with sick dogs as well as dogs with skin conditions. I have helped get the neighbors dog to eat, as well as go potty and play. I also have experience with cats from the shelter as i have taken advanced feline behavior classes. I am able to understand cat body language fairly well. I have worked with cats as well as kittens. I can care for, and clean up after, dogs and/or cats. I will always respect your pets boundaries. I will genuinely treat your fur babies as my own. On walks I have a steady balance and strong leash hold to ensure the dog stays with me. I may carry treats with me for minor training/intervention (if allowed and if the dog pulls or something like that). If your dog is scared of certain things or creatures I will take precautions to avoid anything triggering to the dog. Lastly, I will certainly make sure the pet(s) feel loved, happy, and relaxed.
