“Couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! I booked with Wenxu and her husband to board Momo for a short 4 day trip out of town. It can be a challenge to find cat-specific sitters, but they were attentive, reliable, and patient. Momo can be a bit shy with new people/environments, and can even get anxious, but they were so patient and made sure he was comfortable while he was boarding with them. They were very communicative from start to end. They made sure to let me know ahead of time what they needed me to provide, vs what supplies they would provide themselves. They also shared regular updates (photos and videos) throughout my trip on how he was doing, which I really appreciated for peace of mind. Their set up for him was great too, to keep him comfortable and entertained for his stay - I think Mowgli really appreciated their huge cat tree! They were so caring, and even went above and beyond by sending him home with a gifted scratcher which was so kind! Thank you both again for taking such great care of Mowgli!!!”
“Like most people, I was very nervous about leaving my dogs with someone while I was away. However, from the moment I met Alissa I knew my two babies would be okay. She spent a lot of time with us during our initial meet and greet. She answered all our questions and allowed our dogs to hang out in her backyard and just really reassured us that she will love them the same way we do. She communicated regularly while we were gone and sent pictures and videos. What I also appreciated is that she is flexible with drop off and pick up times. So instead of our dogs staying another night, we were able to pick them up on our way home from our trip. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family.”

He let me know that he had another booking that would overlap mine, which turned out OK but would have been an issue if the dogs didn’t get along. His apartment is small and it would have been difficult to keep the dogs separated. Also I would have appreciated more photos, especially on the first day with the other dog. He responded promptly with pictures when prompted. Overall, I would recommend him.”

I’m experienced with feeding, administering medication, and basic grooming like baths and nail trims. Working at this job has taught me a lot about dog behavior and body language. I am normally available in the early morning until 12pm and from 8:30pm to late night. Tuesdays and Fridays I am free the entire day for any bookings so long as I know at least a day in advance! Because of my work obligations as well as obligations to my own pets I am only offering dog walking sessions as well as home check ins for cats and dogs. I am used to any kind of harness or collars for dogs, experienced with using crates and am comfortable taking them out wherever is comfortable with you. For both cats and dogs I can come in for house check ins, help with feedings, play with your pets, or just come in for a snuggle so they don’t get lonely.

If there is need during the week I’m usually away from home for 10 hours during the day including my commute time to and from work. We will walk and feed them before we leave in the morning and as soon as either of us gets home will do the same and then again before bedtime. In our home, pets are cared for in a calm, safe environment. We live on the second floor of a house in a suburban neighborhood with sidewalks, which allows for safe, structured walks. While we don’t have direct yard access, we make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and attention. I also have a senior cat who is naturally shy and takes time to warm up, so I’m very understanding of pets who may be anxious or need a slower, more gentle approach. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet time. I’m attentive to their behavior and needs, and I always aim to make them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.
About: I (Tori) am a third year veterinary student at LIU post with a passion for providing high quality, reliable care to all animals! I have extensive experience working in veterinary clinics as well as pet sitting since I was in high school, so I am comfortable providing medical care to your pets. I understand how important it is finding appropriate pet sitter that accommodates all your needs, as I have two cats at home myself and it takes a lot of time finding the perfect person! I am also currently working in a veterinary clinic on top of being a veterinary student, so I’m constantly improving my education and experience with pet health. My boyfriend (Steven) is also a pet sitter and has a dog (Cho) currently, and has extensive experience caring for dogs. He may join me for some pet sitting gigs unless you prefer just me or him, the pricing does not change. Whether it’s us together or one of us caring for your pets, we strive to be responsible, loving, and provide the best care for your pets. We have 3 pets at home- so it is our priority to treat every animal as if it’s our own! Every pet is unique, and I am more than happy to go above and beyond to provide the care your pets deserve! There is no such thing as asking for “too much”, I will provide as many updates as you need throughout the day, respond to your messages right away, and facetime/video chat if you’d like live updates. Steven and I have differing schedules so we can alternate who can help as well. Before we provide any care, we will come to your home and plan an initial meet and greet with you, any family members, and your pet(s) of course so we can make sure everyone is comfortable! We will communicate with you often while caring for your pet(s) and acknowledge any special requests you have for us as well! About: I’ve taken care of my families dog since I was 13 years old. I currently have a maltipoo who’s 2 years old and I’ve had him since he was a puppy. I’ve also taken care of neighbors dogs in the past as well and they relied on me when they were out of town. I am currently working from home on mondays and Fridays so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I can walk at any point in my day if I don’t have a prior meeting scheduled. I love going for walks to keep dogs active throughout the day. Treats are a necessity and positive reinforcement is needed to be the dogs new best friend
About: I have always grown up with dogs in my home. Currently, my family has one high energy black lab. In September of 2024, I also adopted my first own dog, Millie! I have watched, played with, fed, and walked dogs for many years including family and friends. I am currently in my final year of veterinary school. I also have worked as a veterinary assistant so have first aid and medical skills. I’m in my clinical year of vet school so my schedule varies by which rotation I’m on! Early morning and evening would probably be best for me most of the time. I try to update my availability calendar as often as I can! My home is very safe. There are plenty of paths and green spaces for walking. Your animal would have to get up one flight of steps.
About: I am a lifelong pet owner and animal lover with years of experience as pet sitter and dog walker. I prioritize putting pets and their people at ease with reliable, conscientious care. I love taking photos of your pet and will send you pictures and updates as often as you need, and please feel free to get in touch any time your beloved dog is with me as I know it’s difficult to leave them behind! I am home full time so I can dedicate the entire day to care and love your pet. I only watch one dog at a time. I love walking dogs and there is a dog friendly (leashed only) park near by if your pet enjoys lots of exercise. You can trust me to keep your pets safe, engaged and happy in my home. Your pet will have free range in my house which is dog friendly. I can provide a dog bed, blankets and towels etc. I have a fully fenced backyard that provides a safe and spacious environment for outdoor play. If your pet requires medication I am happy to give as necessary.

“Jordan is pleasant and responsive. Latke was returned happy and healthy. He let me know that he had another booking that would overlap mine, which turned out OK but would have been an issue if the dogs didn’t get along. His apartment is small and it would have been difficult to keep the dogs separated. Also I would have appreciated more photos, especially on the first day with the other dog. He responded promptly with pictures when prompted. Overall, I would recommend him.”

I was extremely nervous leaving my German shepherd for a week (the most she'd been away from me was 2 days) knowing that she'd have separation anxiety.
