“Alexa is great! We have used her several times for our 3 dogs, both times for about 5 days. She always would send pictures of the dogs out on their walks and update us on how they were doing. Not only did she walk and feed our pups, she would stay and hang out with them for a bit as well. Our one dog is tough to walk and needs a harness and Alexa had no issues putting it on and off. We highly reccomend Alexa and will have her watch our pups again.”

She lovingly cared for our 17-year-old quirky cat and rolled with a last-minute unanticipated need to feed her daily pills. She sent wonderful photos and detailed updates every day. She did everything we asked and more; for example, watering a plant that she noticed was drooping and organizing our mail and boxes into neat piles. Maine is a "dog state," and we have a beloved dog ourselves, but it is harder to find someone who vibes with beloved cats, especially needier old ones. Tova was just the right purr-son!”

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember and have cared for pets my entire life. We share our home with our playful black Lab, Caymus—he’s friendly, active, and loves making new fur friends. My husband and I are both ultrarunners, so Caymus joins us on trail runs and hikes regularly—he keeps up better than we do, even at 8 years old! I specialize in providing safe, attentive care that follows your pet’s normal routine—whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or just keeping them company while you’re away. We live on 2 peaceful acres at the end of a dead-end road, offering a calm, quiet setting for dogs who stay with us. While we don’t have a fenced yard, we use an invisible fence for our own dog and closely supervise all outside time. Visiting dogs are always supervised outdoors, and I’m happy to follow your individual instructions—whether that means leash walks, yard time, or a combination that fits your pet’s needs. Please note: all dogs must be up to date on vaccinations for boarding. We don’t host cats in our home, but I’m happy to provide drop-in visits for cats at your home. I work remotely just a few hours each week, which gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care throughout the weekdays and some weekends. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or boarding, I’m available to provide reliable, loving care that fits your pet’s needs. Pet care blends perfectly into my routine—it’s something I truly enjoy and look forward to each day. I care for every pet as if they were my own—with patience, love, and attention to their unique needs.
