About: I have grown up with cats and dogs, two dogs and 4 cats over my lifetime. Both outdoor indoor pets and I am very active with them. Pets need love and support from us as much as we need it from them. I spent three years volunteering at the Oregon zoo working with animals. I am flexible and creative, easily adapting to pet's needs. I am also patient and calm with them. I have loved animals since I was a kid. I refused to hit a piñata at a party because it was animal shaped. I will love your pets as if they are my own. I am always happiest when I am around pets. I work from home on a salaried basis, so my schedule is flexible. Especially from early morning until 3pm. I can do quick drop ins and/or long stays if they need a little interaction. I pay attention to location of plants, making sure they are out of reach and not a hazard to pets. I make sure all toys left out are safe, not too small to chock on. Making sure toys don't have anything to tangle up with. I'll watch to make sure pets don't eat too fast and get sick.

About: I am a huge animal lover! I have a dog (a labradoodle) and have been pet/house sitting for friends and neighbors since elementary school. I have cared for a wide variety of dogs, including both large and small breeds, high-energy dogs, and puppies. I have experience with basic obedience training and giving medications. I have also taken care of cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, and chickens, and am always excited to meet new animal friends! As a recent college graduate, my schedule is very flexible, so I have a lot of time to devote to caring for your furry friends. I am happy to fill in for reoccurring services if necessary, but can't commit to anything long term right now. I'm here to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and happy while you are away. I prioritize maintaining your pet's typical daily routines, and check-in with them frequently. If I'm house-sitting, I follow all rules and any special instructions, and am also happy to water plants, or collect mail, in addition to caring for your pet.

About: All animals are welcome. Medical experience with animals and will follow directions to the letter. Have worked and cared for a large variety and size of animals my entire life. Consistency is key. Animals love routine and waking up, being fed and walking all at certain times. So much so they expect it. I'm here to make sure they get it. Safety is following the instructions set for you by the people who know the animal. I realize each animal is different and requires different handling in any given scenario.

About: Growing up, my family was very pet oriented! Mainly dogs and cats, but also a few other creatures. Growing up with animals taught me the basics, and as time moved on I honed my skills and learned to listen to animals and respect their boundaries. When I was in my teenage years, my parents had a couple litters of puppies that I would take care of a majority of the time. They were my favorite memories, and I will still tell anyone that will listen that their tiny ears were like velvet. We began training the pups before they were adopted, and I have trained quite a few dogs in some areas; my shining achievement so far is my dog balancing a treat on her nose- yet only for a few moments before she gets excited and flicks it off to eat it. In high school I volunteered at my local animal shelter, my duties there were help with cleaning and socializing animals, and talking with people about the animals I knew and helped them get adopted. I have also pet sat for different friends and families over the years, and have heard positive feedback each time! I have a motivation and passion to keep animals happy, and will go to great lengths to ensure their happiness. :) I am a currently a student at Chemeketa! I am mainly an online class taker, so I am in the Portland area most of the time. At the time of writing this, I am on summer vacation, so my schedule is much more flexible. Come September there will be some changes to my calendar, but for now I can work with you and your specific needs very easily. I cannot bring animals into my home (we have a cat that does not like to share) but I can ensure you that I am a very dependable person! I can walk dogs (or cats!) at their own pace and needs- whether that's in highly populated areas for lots of attention, or quiet trails to run around and enjoy nature. I also understand that there may be a level of unease for allowing a stranger into your home or around your beloved pets, but I can promise that the only thing I am focused on if ensuring your pets happiness!

About: I’ve owned and cared for a wide variety of animals from a young age, ranging from the usual house pets to small exotic animals. With years of experience house/pet sitting for established clientele with numerous animals and care needs, I’m used to matching anything that is asked of me. I’m open to working with energy levels and needs, using my background in child/daycare to provide your pet with the best staycation it could possibly ask for. Through the summer months I do full-time pet/house sitting and care, and have a pretty open schedule throughout the week to find a routine that works best for your pet. Owning animals of my own with specific care requirements, I understand what it’s like to be the owner of a high demanding pet. My goal with any animal is to keep their routine life as normal and comfortable as possible. About: I have a deep love and lifelong passion for animals of all kinds. From a young age, I’ve been trusted with house sitting and dog sitting, and caring for pets has always felt like second nature. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals—whether they’re big, small, energetic, or mellow—and I believe dogs truly are some of the best companions we could ask for. I was raised around dogs of all sizes and currently care for my own 96-pound German Shepherd–Husky mix who has epilepsy, so I’m experienced not only with large breeds but also with pets who have special medical needs. Above all, I am reliable, trustworthy, and committed to providing the same care and love for your pet as I would my own. Dog sitting is more than a job for me—it’s something I wholeheartedly enjoy. I currently work full time. Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. I would love to walk/pet sit in the evenings and help out anytime I am able to do so. I would love to walk your pups in your neighborhood or take them somewhere close to run! I also am very comfortable with taking care of special needs dogs. My sisters dog has heart failure and is on pills twice a day and needs lots of attention. I also have a dog with epilepsy who I have handles seizures with and medication for life. About: We are Rivercrest Bark: Aaron, Dawne and Charlie (10). We have been right where you are, scouring Rover, stressed about finding the ideal fit. We are committed to providing a loving and comfortable home away from home for your dog and an stress-free experience for you. We'll send you videos and photos and love your dog just as much as we loved our own. Our home is home to Nina, a 14lb rescue from Mexico. Nina loves to play with other dogs but enjoys being lazy and basking in the sun as well. Our home is ideal for small dogs, but we could accommodate medium dogs on a case-by-case basis. Tell us more your dog(s). Dawne works from home and has plenty of flexibility in her work schedule for snuggles, bathroom breaks, walks or playtime. Charlie attends school but will no doubt be counting down the hours to get home to play with our visitors. Aaron works outside of the home 4 days a week but walks in the AM. We have a large park down the street from our house as well. Our home is quaint, and we've got a fenced front and back yard with plenty of space for exploring. We have security cameras in our front and backyard. Dogs will not be left alone outside without supervision unless you state otherwise. Please note: the Rover guarantee is quite limited. We are insured with Pet Care Insurance as well. We are so lucky to have repeat visitors frequently. On occasion we may have 2-3 visitors at a time. They are typically sibling dogs + a dog from another household. We take full consideration of the compatibility & safety of overlapping visitors. We want parents & pups to feel at ease. Rest assured there is plenty of doggy love to go around & we will do our best to make sure you are aware of overlap visitors.

About: I have compassion and am understanding for animals that is hard to put in to words. I carry empathy towards all living things. I have had several dogs of my own and know how much it means to have someone you can rely on to care for them when you’re away. I am currently at home full time and don’t have plans on that changing anytime soon. I am able to work around your schedule and as needed. I have a few appointments a week but they are only one hour at a time. The rest of my time is free. I tend to take my two dogs to the park every day to play ball or run around (depending on weather sometimes). I would love to bring yours along as well. My dogs are very friendly and know how to give your pets their own space when needed. Please keep in mind that if you need a house/pet sitter, my two dogs would have to come with me as I am single and don’t have anyone to care for them. They are great with other dogs and cats. Fully potty chained. No chewing. Keeping safe distance from other animals, always leashed, never left at home alone, reassurance to help them feel safe in the new environment, treats, nap.
