About: I've been taking care of dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Many of my neighbors would often ask me to take care of their pets while they're away, and I still watch all of them to this day! It gave me quite a lot of experience with different types of animals among all ages too. All of their amazing pets have inspired me to join Rover to meet many more, and hopefully, I can one day get a dog of my own! I'm currently on summer break for college with no part-time job, so my schedule is completely free and flexible for any sort of pet or home needs. I take utmost care of pets as they are just as important as people! As a dog owner myself, I love on them and go above and beyond when taking care of them. Aside from just feeding or walking, I love playing and spending time with other animals as I believe they all need proper attention and not just their basic needs met while their owners are away!
“This was the first time I was leaving my fur babies overnight with someone other than friends or family and Kaycey was amazing! She was able to offer a meet and greet for my in-home request ASAP and meeting her was like meeting a friend! The care she provided for my pets was great! She was responsive, informative, and put me at ease. We will 100% use her again!!”

“We were extremely satisfied with the care Alex provided to our dogs! He was willing to have two drop in visits to make our anxious dogs more comfortable prior to house sitting. He handled multiple medications required, provided daily updates and pictures, and left our house in great condition. We look forward to working with him again for future trips!”

“Dogs seemed happy when I got home, and Randi was responsive and flexible. She house set so the dogs could sleep in their own beds but took them to her house to play with her pack during the day, which I'm sure they enjoyed.”

“Mindy was amazing especially with my grumpy senior dog. I have never seen Bucky take to a new person so quickly. She sent photos of my dogs on their walks and checked in with me each day. I can not recommend her enough.”

“Lindy was amazing! They gave us great updates every day on how Laika was doing, and what they were up to everyday. And lots of adorable pictures in which it was clear Laika was having a great time with them. Highly recommend!”

“Caitlynn is the best! My dog can be very stubborn with strangers but he warmed up to her immediately. She took great care of him and of the house while I was away, can’t recommend her enough and I will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Sarah did a wonderful job with our dog, Koda. She sent frequent updates with photos and videos each day. She was prompt in communication and followed all our direction regarding medicine and special routines!”

About: For the last 5 years, I've been volunteering care for a herd of goats on Gillie's Creek Park. I am also the primary farm sitter for several friends' homesteads and a frequent pet sitter for friends and acquaintances. I have a broad range of experience: handling elderly animal care, newborn feeding/monitoring, pet anxiety, unique medication/feeding schedules, and general care for most farm/domesticated animals. I have a deep love for animals and their welfare with a desire to assist you and your pet in any way possible. I'm currently working part-time with a very flexible schedule. Typically not away from home for more than 3 hours at a time during marked available hours. My schedule can be adjustable if coordinating in advance. If caring in your home, I ensure that all items are back where they were originally left and that all feeding bowls and areas accessed are cleaned and organized. My home has a fenced-in yard, plenty of plants, natural lighting, and no other pets to contend for attention or food.
“Charlotte was wonderful with my dog cher as always! She sent me tons of pictures and kept me updated on how things were going. Looking forward to having her stay with us again soon.”

“Jazmine was great with Kona for an overnight stay, which was our first experience on Rover. Jazmine communicated with us promptly and professionally, took great care of the home and our main man Kona, and she helped us navigate the Rover technology - Highly recommend her if this is your first time. We will definitely book her again.”

About: Hello my name is Corinne (kuhrin)! I’m new to the Rover community, but I have been pet sitting for as long as I can remember! I have two of my own dogs that I love deeply. I am comfortable around all types of pets. When I take care of your baby I will walk them, play with them, and keep them super safe. I’m currently home from college until the middle of August. I have a ton of free time that I want to dedicate to your fur babies. I’m am super flexible and can accept last minute bookings. I do not have a summer job when I’m home for the summers, so I have a plenty of time to tend to your animals. When you book me, your pet’s care is my number one priority! I am sadly unable to keep your animals at my home. However, I promise their safety and routine will not change with me as their caregiver. I’m able to follow any routine you throw at me. I want your animals to feel comfortable and cared for.
About: As a lifelong animal lover, I take pride in providing safe, loving, and reliable care for every pet I meet. Over the years, I’ve also cared for animals with health challenges, including those battling cancer, and I understand how important it is to provide gentle, attentive, and consistent care. Whether your pet needs medication, extra comfort, or just a calm presence, I treat every animal with compassion and respect — as if they were my own. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets in someone else’s care, and my goal is to make that experience as easy and reassuring as possible. You can count on me to keep up with their routines, give them lots of love and attention, and send regular updates so you always know they’re happy, safe, and well cared for. Your pets aren’t just animals — they’re family :) I currently attend graduate school full time and love taking care of all animals in my free time! I have three cats of my own who i love and spoil! Trusting someone with an animal is hard and I am here to make sure your cat or dog always feels loved and safe while you are gone!

Caitlynn did a wonderful job with my pets! My Roux, who isn’t always accepting of new people, loved her at first meeting! She communicated wonderfully and sent photos daily. They played, walked, and cuddled! Would recommend and personally planning on using again!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Orapax Farms on Rover is $58.83 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Orapax Farms walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Orapax Farms maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Orapax Farms choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Orapax Farms. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
