“We left our two small dogs with Alex for a three day weekend. This is the first time our dogs have not been with us and without any exaggeration, we could not have hoped for a better experience! One of our dogs has separation anxiety issues. Within a short time of being left there Alex had him relaxed and having fun playing and feeling comfortable in his unknown surroundings. We did leave both of them with Alex for a short three hour dog sitting session a few days before so it wasn’t totally unknown, this may have helped a bit. But Alex is a bit of a dog whisperer himself, and is very in tune to the dogs condition and needs. They gave us wonderful updates with videos and photos, as well as texts, keeping us up-to-date on what activities the dogs were involved with at the time. Which was very reassuring. They provide a wonderful environment for the animals.”

About: I have been walking dogs and taking care of cats and dogs for years. I give cats and dogs some attention and play with them. I am currently available on weekends and week nights for walking dogs. I am flexible with the times on weekends. I can take dogs for more than 20 minutes to give them more exercise and an enjoyable time. If you need your dog (s) to stay at my house overnight or during the day on weekends, I can look after them, play with them, and walk them. I have a large fenced yard.

You can always count on me to show up, communicate clearly, and treat your dog with the same care and consistency I give my own. I pay attention to every detail — from feeding schedules to favorite toys — so you can truly relax knowing your dog is in great hands. I have had dogs my whole life! When I was 5 we rescued a greyhound and when she passed we got into fostering other grey hounds. When we found ourselves dog-less again, we discovered our little 9lb furry baby Paige from Lollypop farm — we still have her and she just had her 16th birthday. Since Paige we also adopted a Chi-weenie and a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix. I pride myself on being dependable, responsive, and proactive. I send regular updates, photos, and notes so you never have to wonder how your dog is doing. Your peace of mind (and your pup’s happiness) are my top priorities. I primarily work in the office during the week, but I do have the option to work from home — so if your pup needs a little extra time and attention, I can absolutely make that happen! I’ll never let a dog go more than 6–8 hours without care, but if your pup is used to more frequent potty breaks, I’ll make that a priority. I’m also primarily home on the weekends (I actually prefer to have no weekend plans!), which means I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with your bestie all day. 🐾 I’m pretty flexible and happy to adjust my schedule to fit your dog’s routine. Just communicate your expectations, and I’m confident we can work out a plan that keeps your pup happy, comfortable, and cared for. I live in a spacious 1,500 sq ft apartment — plenty of room for your pup to explore, play, and relax! While I don’t have a fenced yard, I make sure every dog gets plenty of outdoor time with frequent walks and potty breaks throughout the day. I don’t currently have any dogs of my own so your pup will have my full attention and the space all to themselves. However, if your dog enjoys the company of other pups, I’d be happy to introduce them to my mom’s 12lb rat terrier/chihuahua/dachshund mix — he’s a friendly little social butterfly who loves making new friends! I don’t currently own a crate, but I’m more than happy to get one if that helps your dog feel more comfortable. I have an abundance of toys for playtime and a ginormous couch perfect for snuggles, naps, and quality cuddle time with my furry guests. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities, and I treat every pup like my own while they’re here. ❤️

About: I've loved dogs since childhood and have always had one by my side. Right now, I have a toy poodle, so I understand the unique needs of small breeds firsthand—from their exercise requirements to their more delicate care compared to larger dogs. Because of this, I'm especially comfortable and confident caring for small dogs under 20 lbs. What sets me apart is the personal, hands-on experience I bring: I know how to read small dogs' body language, keep them calm around bigger animals, and give them the gentle, attentive care they thrive on. I'm patient, observant, and treat every dog like my own poodle—with genuine affection and close attention to their comfort and safety. I work from home. So I will be able to take care of your pet. If you have something on weekend or on Holiday then you can rely on me I have a toy poodle who is very friendly. He loves to play. If your pup is not aggresive then he will be safe here. I can give your food or my pets food.
