About: I have had animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with always having a dog in the house and then about 3 years ago I adopted 2 cats. I have 1 year old dog and 2 cats in my home. I often dog sit my friends elderly pup along with my parents coworker trusting me to look after her cats while shes away. I am very trustworthy and reliable. I work full time and am typically available anytime after 3 on Mondays, anytime Wednesday, and after 5pm Thursdays/Fridays. I have every other weekend off, so some weekends may vary with times available. When it comes to dog walking or drop ins, I am also available to stay at your home for some extra socializing and playtime for your pet. At home my dog is on his leash outside as I don’t have a fenced in yard. My cats are also free roam throughout the house with two liter boxes spread out that I clean daily. I am comfortable with both types of animals and both on leash and off leash dogs.

I sadly lost petunia in July to cancer and helped her daily for the last 6 months. I grew up with a cat who was part of my family from childhood until he passed away a few years ago, so I have many years of firsthand experience caring for and living with cats. About: Up until around age 10, we had multiple cats in our home of all types and ages. One distinct example was an elderly cat named Socks who we adopted after her owner passed. Socks only liked the presence of my mom at the time but it was a great learning experience regarding the boundaries of certain animals and understanding that they are all worthy of love even if they might not show that love back right away! I now have had a small Tortishell cat named Nyx since 2022 and often cat sit for our friend who has a large formerly outdoor cat of which breed she is not entirely sure.

About: I have guinea pigs, cats, dogs, and chickens. I have also had a bearded dragon and rabbits. I am very used to caring for many types of animals and love them all. Have experience with all different ages and many different needs for each pet. They’re our family ! I was a teacher for 12 years in elementary school. After our 3rd child was born i decided to stay home to take care of our children and our pets full time. I am very flexible with my schedule and our pets love visitors - animals and humans !! About: I have had dogs of my own. I had a lab and a yorkie silk terrier. I treat dogs like they are my children. I will take them on fun walks, make sure their well fed and play with them. I always make sure my focus is on the dogs so they don't feel lonely! Something that sets me apart from other walkers and sitters is that I like cardio. So just walking alot or even running with the dog will not only help me but the dog too! About: I have been walking dogs for over 10 years as neighbors had me walk their dogs when I was young. I house and dog sit for my family. I volunteered with a rescue for two years and currently foster for a rescue that I’ve been with for about 4-5 years. I work 8-5 every weekday. I’m good at giving animals space when i know they’re scared or nervous and really make sure I earn an animals trust. I have a beautiful 2 year old baby girl. There is a chance she would be with me for walks and drop ins depending on what day of the week it is. About: PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL ANIMALS ARE KID FRIENDLY. I HAVE TWO CHILDREN AGES 9 AND 11 ! My name is Alexandra and am currently located in Rochester/Irondequoit area. I have grown up around all types of animals from cats to dogs, birds, reptiles and fish, even raising a puppy. The main animals I grew up around were both cats and dogs. In my past I have worked at an animal store and had some experience as a pet sitter also. I live with my daughter who is well behaved and also an animal lover. I presently only have two small caged cockatiel birds and am able to move them anywhere in the house if needed to provide more space or comfort for your pets. I am willing to work with other certain types of animals if interested please don’t hesitate to ask. I look forward to working together and meeting all of your animals! I am available Monday to Sunday and some holidays morning to night time (flexible schedule) and willing to work with you for extended times or days I provide a calm and quiet environment. My neighborhood is also quiet and calm when taken outside for walks or to go to the bathroom. I make sure they do not interact with other animals outside of my home and the animals I do have in my home are small and caged in a separate room where the door is always closed. I do not have any other dogs or cats and I do not board from different people at the same time.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I was responsible for walking the family dog when I was younger, volunteered at a shelter walking dogs every Saturday morning for 5 years, and have owned a dog myself for the last 20 years. My current dog, Bruce, and I are a registered therapy dog team, which required a lot of training and building of trust between us. He's a border collie (though he's slowed down in his old age) that needs his daily walks and play time. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone. You need to be able to trust them and I promise to take care of your dog with as much love and care as I take care of my own. I have 4 cats, so you pup MUST be good with cats. I work from home everyday so I am able to take care of potty breaks as needed and provide attention and playtime throughout the day. Building trust with an animal is etremely important. I am careful to keep an eye on body language so that I know when an animal wants more or less attention, needs to go for a walk, or needs to play. My own dog has been trained to walk on a loose leash by my side and does not pull. I've had plenty of experience walking shelter dogs who had no training though, so I can handle quite a bit. I regularly interact with my cats depending upon what type of interaction they want. I have two cats who love to play with toys on strings, and two other cats who prefer to be showered with pets. I am a believer that if you pay attention the animal will let you know what it's boundaries are.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. We have always had at least one dog in the house if not more. In the past 6 years I have helped my parents to puppy train twice. I love dogs unconditionally, but I am not afraid to show a little tough love when needed. I’m currently going back to school and attend a lot of local sporting events but I still make it a priority to take my dog for a walk daily. Whether we fit in a walk before I leave in the morning or in-between class and a game, I know how much she loves her walks. I also make sure to give her ample play time when I am home.
