About: I’ve had pets since I was young & have always been a big animal nut. I’ve had all kinds of animals as an adult once I was on my own, including cats, dogs, ferrets, bearded dragons, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, & bunnies! And I’ve loved them all greatly! I’m also a mom to 2 teens so I’m used to messy, fast-paced days & thinking quick on my feet. I volunteer at my town’s animal shelter & I have also been trusted to sit for friends’ pets (which included farm animals). My biggest concern for any animal is their safety & well-being (both physical & mental). I am self-employed & am lucky enough to choose my hours, so I have wide availability. I do have a child that I drive to & from school but I’m open to discussing what your needs are & how to make it all work. About: I have experience with dog walking, pet sitting, and energy work/healing with animals. I also volunteered with the Humane Society in Vieques as well as the Wildlife Rehabilitators of Rhode Island and I have experience working as a veterinary assistant. I have also had my own pets most of my life, up until my most recent passed away. I consider myself a true lover of animals for sure and would be honored to work with yours. I work mostly weekends as a server in PVD and I'm currently finishing my PhD so am home for most of the week. At my own home I have a yard, not fenced but am near the water which provides a great place for walks. As for caring for the pet in the clients's home I'd do exactly what asked of me and make the animal(s) as comfortable as possible while their humans were away. I can be available most of the time on most days of the week. My time away from the home would be 3-4 days a week for about 7 hours max. While I don't have a fenced in yard, I do have a decent sized yard in the back of my house and the ability to use a runner as well. I also am happy to take the animals on hikes and feel comfortable having them in my car as well.

About: I've cared for animals my whole life, including those with medical needs or on specialized diets. I'm used to the dirty work and want your pet to feel extra cared of! I'm used to friendly pets or those who need more space. I can handle it all and will communicate all updates to you quickly. I have early and evening availability until mid-August and then open availability. I'm happy to do early early mornings or later nights, and have a vehicle so can get wherever you need. I've been a house-sitter for years and respect your space immensely! About: I don’t have my own pet anymore as he passed from old age. I like to take care of other people’s pets when they are on vacation and care for them with as much love as if they were my own. I will stay at your home if needed , schedule potty break services as well. I work at a school so let out before I go to work and right after, evenings and bed time. About: i have cared for my own dog ever since i was 11 years old. I have also cared for neighbors dogs and helped train my sisters dog I am currently in college and working but i am available r day early morning 6-8:30 am and afternoons 2 and later on most days! About: I absolutely love going for walks and runs with dogs! Please see updated photos for some of my previous pet clients. Recently took care of a few hairless cats as well as a big dog! I’ve taken care of pets in many settings, including messier households! (Not a neat freak so messes do not bother me!) I trained my Doberman on Couch to 5k, running through all the trails in RI. I’ve taught my cat how to shuffle cards, play piano, and spin in a circle on command, and my mom’s old cat would always practice Pilates with us at 6 in the morning. Recently I dropped in for a friend’s 2 cats, even the shy one eventually warmed up to me! They required medication in their food so she left detailed, neatly handwritten notes on the table, which helped a lot! Known for my positive and caring energy as a music therapist (who works alongside a pet therapist!) and music teacher, and with a mom with a college degree in animal science, I have a passion for animals in general. She is now dating a farmer and we now have a baby cow named clover who I help take care of occasionally on Sundays. Generally I am available in the middle of the day most days of the week for one-off visits. My boyfriend is a biologist and also has a small dog who I walk frequently in the mornings and at midnight (she’s a night owl like us!) Available to do drop-ins at your home within 45 mins of Montville - please message me at least one week before your trip to solidify the booking! Please be kind, respectful, and professional in your requests - I do not take last minute visits but would love to help you out with your furry friend. I love driving so I’m happy to drive to you if it’s further away - as I am regularly back and forth between Westerly, RI and Uncasville, CT. Outside of teaching in a formal studio, I’ve worked in client’s homes for therapy-related meetings as well as for music lessons - and believe it or not often times there are pets who love to sing along to the music! I usually stay home in the morning so I can easily take care of your pet between 7 am and 2 pm. I used to have an office job but found it too sedentary and draining; I discovered I thrive in outdoor and home environments. I’m excited to enter this new chapter and care for animals! I have a partially fenced yard so I would generally take pets out on a leash but it is a non-busy road and very safe - the lawn is freshly mowed and we have a playground your dog can weave around! I also have a cute little neighborhood that we can circle around that is far from the highway and if your pet loved car rides, we can always go to the park and get ice cream! Occasionally our neighbor’s dog likes to come over unsolicited but he is always very gentle and friendly! My cats are also used to my mom’s boyfriend’s rambunctious dogs coming in and out from time to time and we have plenty of doors and rooms in the house and baby gates if we ever needed to keep pets separate! We also have a spare pet bed if needed that was gifted to us - we always want to make sure your pet is comfortable sleeping at night!

About: My very friendly little dog and I would love to host your dog here with us, up to 40 pounds only though...Or if your pal would benefit from a playmate, we would love to come sit for you! Well first off, I've been trusted with the care of many precious pets for years now...And enjoy it very much...I am fun, caring, and engaging, as well as all ble's, reliable, dependable, and responsible! And I took a CPR pet course, and human one as well. I have had cats mostly all my life, and now own a small dog of my own, who as I stated earlier, could, or doesn't have to if need be, come with me, as some love to have a playmate for their pet...And I know my friendly little guy very much enjoys the visit. But with anyone coming to my home, my guy will be there too, and they must all be friendly, and then we have nothing but a good time. Which brings me to, I can watch any animal, esp in the animals home and of any size...It is my home that, as also mentioned above, I would only be able to take in a small or medium sized dog, cat, or caged pet. And my home, that I live in with just my little guy, is pretty open and spacious for dogs to move around, and I have fenced in my backyard just off the back door porch for even more run around fun. And now onto my prices, I had to do additions a certian way on here...As to plus a cat if I'm also coming to care for your dog...But I can always modify and give a discount if say you have many plus one cats in your home so it doesn't keep plus one'ing a fee...Or if you have wonderfully easy small dogs, I would not keep plus one'ing for those and would find a nice set fee, and especially if my little guy could also come enjoy them, or they could come spend the time with us...It's the large ones that can be more of a handful and take a bit more doing often times, that I have to have it set that way for. And I did just recently up my prices some as I've noticed that Rover charges per night and I am not loving that, I always on my own charge per day, so I up'd my prices some to reflect that. But have noticed that I am still under many, esp when it comes to multiple pets, and so that is good. So you can always send me a msg and we can discuss any and all options. I can often work staying elsewhere into my routine, even if many miles away...And I put a certain radius, which is more so for popins...But I have stayed in homes miles and miles away, out of state even, just ask if it's doable, it very well may be! But for pop ins and walks, I would prefer to travel within 10 miles or so from my home only. So I did just update this for a 45 miles out, but obviously I cannot be doing a pop in or daily walk so far away. I care for pets in my home or their home the same way I care for my pet in his home...With the added, well, additions that your pet may need. My home is often more foolproof safe...Such as I have an indoor fenced area around my front door...And I do sometimes bring something similar with me to others homes...I prefer to be (overly) safe than sorry.

About: I got my first dog in 1982. My first cat in 2021. I learned to walk, play with, feed and love my dog, Cara. Then in 1997 another came into my life and again I cared for her basic needs but next I learned to watch and listen to this one... and trained her in tricks and solid obedience. Next I started house sitting for sick old dog's who needed 24/7 attention. This was for Maureen Martin’s dog Higgins and her cat, Rio, in San Diego for 1999 - 2000. Later I found myself caring for so many people's dogs and cats, the last being in Westchester New York 2 weeks ago for Eliza, a black lab belonging to Mr and Mrs Brian S. Also at home I adopted Macy who has cancer as a kitten. She was treated and she is 3 years in remission now bc I played with her and brushed her and gently got her eating again through the chemo program. My reputation grew as a good cat babysitter and dog walker and caregiver. I am gentle, patient, firm and have strong communication with dogs and I speak the language of cats. I also am in very good athletic condition so I can offer your dog and cat a strong enough dose of energy and fun that your dog's anxiety about you not being there can subside. Your cats and dogs miss you when you leave them for work and important events. But I will fill in the gaps so they feel a warm friend is looking after them until you return home. I care for my own cat. Doing the litter daily and feeding her in the morning and evening with some in the middle of the day. She has cozy places to sleep and toys to play with to stay active. I interact with her and brush her to keep her in an overall healthy and good mental state. Playtime is a real winner with most pets. Those who are disabled or needing a different kind of care will get warmth and gentility from Me. If they need meds, I will do it in a caring way. If they need to be vigorous and enjoy companionship time in your absence, I am there to be their protector, buddy and server.
