âDerrika is FANTASTIC!!! She and her family are so incredibly friendly, kind and warm hearted. On the first day that Yogi (my doggo) was there he warmed up immediately - this was so easy for him as he knows & trusts great people. I got several lovely pictures - one of which was Yogi on her couch resting his head on her sonâs legs. Yogi doesnât do this unless he is very chill. You & your doggo will be grateful that you found her!!â

About: My passion for dogs began in childhood, when I started caring for and training our family pets at a young age. By age 10, I was already walking, bathing, and teaching basic obedience to our dogs, as well as caring for my grandmotherâs cat during her hospital stays. Over the years, friends and family regularly trusted me with their pets, allowing me to gain hands-on experience with dogs of many breeds, ages, energy levels, and personalities. Today, I work daily with my two Border Collies, Elsa and Luna, who train in obedience, agility, disc dog, and herding. Handling high-drive dogs every day has strengthened my skills in training, leash manners, reading canine body language, and providing structured physical and mental enrichment. I am also currently pursuing certification as a professional dog trainer. In addition to training, I offer in-home boarding in a calm, structured, dog-focused environment. Boarding dogs are treated as part of the household while maintaining clear routines, supervision, and individualized care. I limit the number of dogs at a time to ensure safety, attention, and low stress, and I tailor daily activities to each dogâs needsâwhether that means active play, structured walks, training reinforcement, or quiet downtime. Whether your dog needs boarding, calm and confident handling, structured walks, drop-in care, or training support, I provide reliable and professional service tailored to each pet. I also offer gentle and attentive care for cats. Your pets will be treated with the same love, respect, and dedication I give my own. As a college student with mostly online classes, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to specialize in dog walking, drop-in visits, and training sessions throughout the day. I provide regular potty breaks, enriched walks, and structured training time as needed. I adjust my routine to each dogâs energy level and goals, ensuring they stay active, happy, and mentally stimulated. Located on the border of Raytown and Leeâs Summit, our home offers a safe and pet-friendly environment. We have a fully fenced 0.5-acre backyard with agility equipment and plenty of space for exercise and training. During drop-ins and walks, I prioritize calm, confident handling and always tailor my approach to each dogâs comfort level. Iâve invested years into understanding dog body language and effective training methods, which helps me support dogs of all personalitiesâespecially those needing better leash manners, confidence, or structured enrichment. Whether Iâm walking your dog, stopping in for care, or providing a training session, your pet will receive personalized attention, safety, and compassion every time.
âThank you so much for taking such great care of him. He loves hanging out with you. It's funny because we will tell him where he's going in the morning and he gets so excited!â

âMy pup was sooooo happy to see Najji on a return visit for day care! It made both their days being reunited! Rosso and Dolly, Najjis pup, are besties. Sure is good to have Najji available when my schedule is full and Rosso needs play time.â

âRon is always so patient and understanding with my pup. He is always actively working to try and make daycare suitable for all types of dogs and works hard to meet the needs of the dogs he cares for. I never worry about Link when he is with Ron!â

About: I am a lifelong animal lover located in the KC area with 8+ years of dog caregiving experience. growing up on a farm, I spent my childhood surrounded by all kinds of pets and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. Iâve trained 2 puppies of my own and have personal experience caring for sick and terminally ill dogs. Iâve never met a pet I didnât instantly love! I currently work from home with very minimal meetings throughout the week, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to play with and care for your pups! Iâm available weekdays and weekends, as well as mornings, afternoons, and nights. as a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to keep your fur babies safe, happy, and on a consistent schedule! I have a fenced in backyard for regular potty breaks and playtime. I also have 2 very friendly dogs of my own (who are both up to date on vaccinations and have passed canine aggression tests) to keep your pup company. working from home, Iâm able to easily provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, neighborhood walks, and most importantly, lots of love and attention!
âOur dog Rubi loved Elaine! I messaged Elaine the day before we needed care for our dog and she was so prompt to respond and ready to help us. She took great care of Rubi and sent us a picture and updates. Her backyard is perfect for dogs to run and play in and her house is calming and quiet. We will deffinetly think of Elaine again if we need care for our dog.â

Oldham Farms dog parents share their Rover experiences
My doggo has A LOT of energy and wanted to play & go for walks. I had intense food poisoning and all of the lovely symptoms that go along with food poisoning. I was on the verge of passing out each time I walked to the bathroom. I could not tend to my đś. It was much later in the evening & I texted Derrika asking if she could pick him up. Not only did she drive to my place to get him- she brought me supplies to combat my nausea/vomiting/etc. This was totally unexpected and just a testament to what an awesome person she is. It is great knowing Yogiâs second home is with she and her family.

Morgan was great! Spaghetti and Meatball had a blast! There were a few friends for them to make while they stayed for daycare! They both slept the whole car ride home! Haha! She sent pictures, responded quickly and didnât make me feel bad about being a helicopter mom! She even got their harnesses and coats on, so they were ready when I got there! They will be seeing her and their friends again in a couple weeks!
