1. Griffin & Gloria R.

“I can't thank Griffin enough for taking care of my dog on such short notice. They were incredibly accommodating and provided excellent care. Highly recommended!"”

2. Ron T.

“Ron provided a safe and comfortable setting for an anxious rescue dog who had never before been boarded. He gave Peanut the space he needed and waited for the dog to come around. Any other approach would probably have heightened Peanut's stress. Ron is patient. He also doesn't rely on a cage, another reason we picked him. Hoping for future visits. ”

3. Christine L.

“Christine was kind to care for my pup, Phoebe, on short notice when my regular sitter couldn’t come last minute. She and her kiddos kept Phoebe safe and comfortable!”

4. Chloé & Collin S.

“Great communication and Rosie was in good hands and felt comfortable in their home. Would recommend.”

5. Michelle T.

“Great communications (several check ins, including picture) to let me know my mini goldendoodle Enzo was settling in with the other dogs and doing well during his first day. Enzo was calm and confident when I picked him up - indicating it was a good experience for him too :) Thanks!”

6. Rhiannon & Rachel G.

“Thank you so much for taking such great care of him. He loves hanging out with you. It's funny because we will tell him where he's going in the morning and he gets so excited!”

7. Ramon R.
“So glad to have met Ramon, and his dog, Dante. He took fantastic care of my dog, and even took him for a walk! After work, I brought a happy and tired dog home! I already have other dates booked. Thanks again, Ramon.”

8. Brandi S.
“I had worked with her as a volunteer for a pet rescue in the Seattle area. I saw her work with dogs in a reacue capacity and she was always able to easily handle them, no matter what their energy level. When I decided to move up another step and foster, I was having difficulties potty training, crate training, etc. She went out of her way to make all the steps very simple, easy to follow and as long as I was consistant with whar she had told me, it always worked.. and the most simple of them all was a good long walk on lead, and it always brought them down in energy and all the pups were in good happy state. I saw her once with 6 rescure puppies, 4 large dogs, all from a high kill shelter and she had no problem handling them all. She is truly gifted with animals.”

9. Natalie C.

“We absolutely love Natalie! She always takes the best care of our dog, Stella! When we are away Natalie will send picture/video updates for us to know she is having the best time! Wouldn’t use anyone else! Highly recommend”

10. Savannah H.

“Great first day of hanging out at Savannah’s house. They have such a nice fenced in backyard. Can’t wait until the boys get introduced to the other dogs and get to play. Will be booking again, thank you!”

11. Jessica P.

“Sampson had a wonderful time at Jessica's for daycare. She was able to accommodate us on short notice. She was very kind and updated me with pictures of Sampson as he played. Sampson slept very well after his day of daycare.”

12. Kayah S.

“Kayah was a perfect host and we appreciate how well she communicated and spent time with Hazel.”

13. Chantal L.

“I’m gonna start by saying please don’t listen to Caleb’s comment. I don’t typically leave reviews, but after seeing his review when I went to rebook with Chantal it really upset me. His dog hurt herself, because he didn’t bother to crate train her or tell Chantal who would have accommodated the pup to help keep her at ease. I whole heartedly believe this. She has had to crate my boys (who are crate trained) and they have never gotten hurt. It wasn’t for a long period of time. It’s for their safety instead of leaving them unattended. Which would be irresponsible. Like not telling someone when your pet has anxiety about certain things. I have been bringing my boys to her every single day for the past three months. She took one of them last minute when I was admitted into the hospital. I whole heartedly trust her with my boys. They have never come back hurt. They have a blast playing with the other dogs and she never leaves them unattended. They smell like her perfume from all the snuggles they get. She feeds them and talks to them. She puts her heart into what she does and because of this your mind can be at easy. Especially when she sends pictures of how much fun they’re having. Chantal is great! Don’t let one irresponsible pet owner steer you away from someone that does a great job at caring for your pet!”

14. Chantelle T.

“I appreciate how well Chantelle took care of my sweet pup Blue! She left continuous updates on him and I will be forever grateful for her service.”

15. Jennifer T.
About: Dogs have always been an important part of my life. When Scott and I moved to KC, we chose Brookside because the neighborhood seemed to be full of dogs out walking their people. That was 25 years and 7 dogs ago. We have no kids, so our family has always been just us and our dogs. When our Doberman passed away in 2022, we made the difficult decision that we would not get another dog right away so that we could travel more. When Scott retired from his job we started spending about half the year traveling… which has been a wonderful experience. But we miss being dog parents!! We have always had at least one dog, so being dog-less is just not right! We really miss having dogs, so we do some fostering whenever we can. When we heard about Rover, it sounded like a dream job. We look forward to spending time loving on your babies! My work is flexible and often portable, so I can be available just about any time. If I get your request before I go to bed, I can be at your home by 10am the next day. We treat dogs like family. A friend once told us “If reincarnation is real, I want to come back as one of your dogs”. Our home has a fenced back yard and a covered patio area. Inside, we have a comfy sofa in front of the TV and we spend lots of time sitting there with our fosters when they are in our home. I like to work obedience training into everyday activities and I try to make it fun. I enjoy walking around our neighborhood and would love to take your dog for long walks.

16. Elaine R.

“Our dog Rubi loved Elaine! I messaged Elaine the day before we needed care for our dog and she was so prompt to respond and ready to help us. She took great care of Rubi and sent us a picture and updates. Her backyard is perfect for dogs to run and play in and her house is calming and quiet. We will deffinetly think of Elaine again if we need care for our dog.”

17. Morgan K.

“So grateful for Morgan’s help today - she even trimmed the dogs’ nails for me. Glad she was able to take both my dogs for daycare and she sent videos and pics throughout the day, which was so much appreciated. Morgan is super friendly and great at what she does. Looking forward to next time!”

18. Derrika S.

“Derrika was great with our pup! She was very professional and I had a high degree of confidence that our little guy was well cared for and loved while we were away. I loved feeling like it brought her joy to be with him too and not just a transaction. We’ll definitely be back!”

19. Bart S.

“This was my first time with Rover and I’ve been nervous about leaving my girls with a “stranger.” We had a meet and greet previous to our booked sitting and all of my anxieties were put at ease. I just picked up my girls from their first day at Bart’s and I am so happy with his attentiveness to care, they came home dead-tired and happy. I look forward to having Bart watch my girls again, and feel as though they are in very safe hands.”

20. Manda L.

“Manda was great. Peaches was a bit shy at first but she was fine. I’m very pleased with the kind care Manda provided. Definitely will book again.”
