“I can’t say enough good things about Arrell! He provided amazing drop in care for my dogs and treated them like his own. I received regular updates, photos, and could tell my pups were happy, comfortable, and well cared for while I was away. It gave me such peace of mind knowing someone so reliable and kind was checking in on them. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again!”

About: I’ve been a dog walker and pet sitter since March 2024. I have experience walking all sizes of dogs from Bernese Mountain dogs to an 8 week old pug. I’ve worked with deaf dogs, a dog that was post-op for an ACL tear, and administered medicine if the pet required it. If you have a reactive dog, I may not be the best fit for you, and that’s okay! I have experience with dogs that are reactive to cars, but I prefer not to work with dogs who are reactive to other animals. I started doing this for a little extra cash & exercise when I’m not touring as a full-time stand up comedian. (It’s a real thing. I promise you never have to hear my jokes, but your dogs probably will at some point during our walks.) If you need a weekday dog walker, I’m your gal! You will also have ample notice for any time that I am traveling out of town for shows as my tours are booked the year prior. I had about 10 consistent weekly clients in Pittsburgh working with a business called Happy Tails, but I just moved to Charlotte so I’m looking for new clients! I’m available most weekdays. Weekends are tougher and will depend on my schedule from my full-time job, but I am open to weekends as long as I am in Charlotte. I am very serious about the comfort and safety of your pet. That means I will take the safest route possible (paved sidewalks with low traffic if possible), provide water, and clean up after them when they potty to keep your neighbors happy. I am happy to follow any guidelines you have for caring for your animal. I am also open to doing a trial period with your pet to make sure that we are a good fit for each other.
“Due to my job she wasn’t able to meet my dogs prior and they were comfortable enough with her to go outside with her. (My older dog can be wary of new people sometimes)”

About: I have raised two dogs from puppyhood and handled their training and daily care myself. Kenzie came home at six weeks old, and my husky joined our family at eight weeks old. My experience includes house training, crate training, leash manners, basic commands, socialization, teaching tricks from the past with my pets and all the love and cuddles in the world with a mountain of toys. Friends and neighbors have also trusted me to help with their dogs, especially with common behaviors such as jumping, pulling, nervousness, and adjusting to new routines. I use a calm, patient, and consistent approach, and I never force a dog into an unfamiliar situation before they are comfortable. I am experienced with puppies, large dogs, senior dogs, cats, dogs that are not crate trained, and multi-pet households. I can also administer oral medications, follow specific feeding instructions, prepare meals, and maintain detailed routines. I am also a breast cancer survivor for any of my warriors out there, and when lost my beloved 12-year-old husky Sophie, caring for other companions felt like a meaningful way to honor her memory. With that being said, any special needs dogs, senior dogs that have any disabilities, seizures, cancer or any other needs, just know we have extra care items for your fur baby if needed. My friends often joke that my husband and I are “animal whisperers” because pets tend to feel comfortable and relaxed around us. I work from home working on my start-up business, so I am home all the time! This gives me plenty of flexibility to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. I can accommodate regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, medication schedules, drop-in visits, and overnight stays. Because I am home most of the day, pets receive companionship and supervision rather than being left alone for long periods. I care for every pet according to their normal routine, personality, energy level, and comfort needs and special needs. My home offers a large backyard for supervised playtime, exercise, and fresh air. There is also a covered gazebo with a grassy area where dogs can relax, cool down, or take a quiet break when needed. There are also two cameras outside as well so I can always have eyes on them no matter what! I am currently transforming my garage into a fun indoor dog jungle gym, although that space is still under construction. For now, pets can enjoy the backyard, comfortable indoor areas, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I carefully follow all feeding, medication, walking, household, and safety instructions. I also provide photos and updates so pet parents can feel comfortable and confident while they are away.
“Megan is the best! I have a nervous Chihuahua rescue and she was so patient and attentive to his needs. She is reliable and such a joy! Couldn’t recommend her more :)”

“We always know we can depend on Sharon to take good care of our two kitties while we’re out of town. She is our go-to. Her communication is great and she takes plenty of photos which give us peace of mind to see that everything is going well while we’re gone. Highly recommend!”

About: I absolutely love animals and understand how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for your pet. I was a dog owner for 12 years and, for the past 4 years, have continued caring for dogs by pet sitting for family and friends. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds, from Shih Tzus to Dobermans and Cane Corsos. I’ve also cared for dogs ranging in age from 2 to 20 years old, so I understand that every dog has different needs, personalities, energy levels, and routines. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or is a senior who needs a little extra patience and attention, I’ll provide dependable, loving care and treat them like family. I’m a full-time student at UNC Charlotte, with my full class schedule concentrated on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the rest of the week to provide attentive and dependable pet care. I’m able to dedicate quality time to walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and companionship while making sure your pet receives the attention they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I provide care in your pet’s familiar home environment and carefully follow all routines, schedules, feeding instructions, and special requirements provided by you. I make sure pets are properly supervised and pay close attention to weather conditions when walking or spending time outdoors. My goal is to keep your pet safe, comfortable, happy, and cared for while maintaining the routine they’re accustomed to.

I make sure every pet is in a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I’ll follow your pet’s routine and any special instructions you provide, while giving them plenty of attention, love, and care. “Fantastic job! She took such great care of our cats while we were away. She was also very accommodating to a change in schedule. We will definitely schedule with her again.”

“Shakoya was amazing caring for our two cats this past week—she played with them, talked with them, gave them so much love, and did every single thing on our care list for them. She went above and beyond, even taking in deliveries on our doorstep for us! She was timely each day and kept us updated on how they were doing and the behaviors they were exhibiting. She also sent lots of pictures, which we loved and appreciated greatly! We will definitely book with her again. Not a single bad thing to say. Thanks again, Shakoya!!”

“Maria did a great job! She was consistent with checking in and sending us updates of our cat! She always took pictures. Our cat is even a little skittish and she came right to Maria!”

“This is the second time Zora has cared for Blue on short notice. I was new to the platform and didn't know what to expect, but she has been responsive, sweet, and reliable. I will definitely continue to request Zora. I'm so thankful for her. We truly appreciate you, Zora!”

“Beth was amazing! unfortunately I lost my baby girl almost 18 years while I was away. She handle the situation in a way that made me feel “calm” I don’t know if it’s the right word to use but when you’re away and things are out of your control, I felt like she handled things on my behalf In matter .Beth was extremely caring and compassionate during this very difficult time.”

“Absolutely loved Jen! And my pup did as well. She did a meet and greet to get to know him and sent lots of pictures to let us know how he was doing while away. She even was courteous enough to bring in packages that were left on the porch. We will book again (as well as my neighbor who met her while walking my pup & loved her too). Thanks Jen!”

“This was our first time leaving our boys with a sitter and we were so nervous but Chloe did an excellent job reassuring us + providing updates so we still felt like we were home with them! She sent photos, videos, and communicated with us throughout the booking; we will absolutely book with Chloe in the future if she’s available!”

About: I have loved dogs since I was child. My parents thought a great way to learn about responsibilities was through caring for a pet, and I am so grateful for them, for that. I have a Goldendoodle that I shower with love and affection, and I would love to do the same for your pup! I would love to care for your dog, whether you need a day sitter, or overnight sitter. I would be happy to cater to your dogs personal needs, whether your dog likes playing indoors, or spending time outdoors. I hope you consider me when choosing a sitter for your furry friend, because I can assure you they’ll have a great time and be in great hands! I hope to meet you soon. I currently work from home, so I’ll have plenty of time to shower your dog with all the love and attention they need. Also, I welcome boarding any day of the week. I live in a townhome in a safe community, so your dog and I can spend plenty of time outdoors. I also have a friendly Goldendoodle that loves to play with other dogs, so your dog will have another companion to play with.
About: Animals have been my world since I was 15. I’ve worked as a zookeeper at three parks, giving me deep experience with all ages, breeds, and behaviors. I specialize in enrichment, gentle handling, senior care, and even puppy training—with lots of love, of course! 🐾💛 Caring for animals is part of my everyday life. I make time for walks, play, and check-ins, and I treat every pet like family. 🐾💕 In my client’s home, I stick closely to their pet’s routine—feeding, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of love and attention. I aim to keep pets happy, safe, and relaxed while their humans are away. I also make sure their space stays clean and cozy, just like home should feel.

We have a difficult to take care of cat that was never alone in the house. She means all to us and we wanted to be sure that she gets the best care possible while we are away. We chose Hilary because of all her positive reviews. It turned out to be the right choice. She is a real professional with so much love for pets in her heart. Very good communication, kept us up to date at all times so we could enjoy our trip without worry about our pet. Highly recommend.

Shakoya was absolutely amazing! She took great care of my dog and made the whole experience stress free. My flight was delayed, and she was incredibly accommodating and flexible, which I truly appreciated. She kept me updated, was easy to communicate with, and it was clear my dog was well cared for and comfortable. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and understanding pet sitter. Thank you again, Shakoya!

Julia is just amazing! She was so accommodating by taking my last minute booking and makes me feel so at ease any time I have to leave my kitties!! So incredible with sending pics and vids, and always giving them extra love. I know they appreciate their time with her and I appreciate the peace of mind she provides! 🫶

Charlie did an amazing job with the drop-in visits for Moose! He was incredible reliable, sent the best photo updates and was super communicative. It was such a relief knowing someone so caring was checking in on our dog. You can always tell he's a happy boy when that side-tongue comes out, so we knew he was in great hands! Highly recommend and will book again :)
