About: I have raised two dogs from puppyhood and handled their training and daily care myself. Kenzie came home at six weeks old, and my husky joined our family at eight weeks old. I would take every opportunity I could to dog-sit for friends and family just so I could spend time with their pets. When I was 16, I found a stray dog wandering the streets. After searching for his owner and not being able to find them, I decided to adopt him and named him Leo. My family wasn’t exactly thrilled about having a dog, and at one point they even wanted me to take him to a shelter. I refused to give up on him. I committed to training Leo, taking care of him, and proving that he deserved a place in our family. It definitely wasn’t always easy—he even destroyed my mom’s laptop and I ended up getting kicked out of the house for a week! 😂 But eventually, my mom grew to love him and agreed to let me keep him. Five years later, Leo is still part of the family, and he even helped turn us into a true dog-loving household. Because of Leo, I learned firsthand how rewarding it is to care for, train, and build a bond with a dog. About: I’ve been a dog walker and pet sitter since March 2024. I have experience walking all sizes of dogs from Bernese Mountain dogs to an 8 week old pug. I’ve worked with deaf dogs, a dog that was post-op for an ACL tear, and administered medicine if the pet required it. If you have a reactive dog, I may not be the best fit for you, and that’s okay! I have experience with dogs that are reactive to cars, but I prefer not to work with dogs who are reactive to other animals. I had about 10 consistent weekly clients in Pittsburgh working with a business called Happy Tails, but I just moved to Charlotte so I’m looking for new clients! I’m available most weekdays. Weekends are tougher and will depend on my schedule from my full-time job, but I am open to weekends as long as I am in Charlotte. I am very serious about the comfort and safety of your pet. That means I will take the safest route possible (paved sidewalks with low traffic if possible), provide water, and clean up after them when they potty to keep your neighbors happy. I am happy to follow any guidelines you have for caring for your animal. I am also open to doing a trial period with your pet to make sure that we are a good fit for each other.

About: I’ve taken care of all types of dog breeds since I was 16, I have experience with training puppies as well as working with older dogs and disabled ones as well. And I would love to care for yours! I currently work early mornings from 4:30am to around 11am, Monday through Friday but besides that I have open availability the rest of those days. I have an open place for your animals to walk with me as well as a friendly furry friend named Phoebe to keep yours company. If them staying with me is not what you want when it is just me one on one with your babies I pay extensive attention to their needs to make sure they are happy and healthy when you are not there.
