“Ashley was amazing! I was a little nervous about having someone else take care of my dog, but Ashley put my mind at ease. She's kind and Cleo just loved her! I was lucky Ashley just happened to be in my neighborhood and available on super short notice. Highly recommend Ashley!!”

About: All my life, people have been amazed at the way animals gravitate to me. For whatever reason, just about every animal I have met falls in love with me. I personally think it's because they can tell how much I love them! I've been an animal lover all my life. Growing up, there were a lot of different animals in the house, but the one constant was DOGS! Over the years, I have cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I've spent time studying dog behavior, psychology, and training through books and hands-on experience, and I'm always learning more. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, a mellow senior, or anything in between, I'm confident in meeting their needs with patience and care. If you're looking for someone who loves your fur babies as much as you, then look no further! I’m currently studying Graphic Design at TMCC, which gives me plenty of time to take care of and play with your pets in between classes and afterwards. Taking care of animals is incredibly rewarding and provides a much-needed break from studying. Your fur babies will get lots of love, attention, and fun when I'm around! I’m very detail-oriented and always make sure to follow your instructions to the T, whether it's feeding schedules, medications, walk times, or any special routines. I'm patient, gentle, and treat every pet with the same love and care I give my own. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable while you're away, so I’m happy to send regular updates, photos, and videos to keep you in the loop and put your mind at ease. Your pet's comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority!

“Lenore has been so great with our pup! She is reliable/always on time and is super loving with Ella. We feel comfortable and grateful that she is able to help us with walks, and would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs care for their pets!”

“We absolutely LOVE having Cyndi and Karsynn take care of our dogs! Both of our dogs liked them from day 1:) Cyndi and Karsynn are so kind, trustworthy and all around AWESOME. They always leave us pictures and detailed reports of their visits. One of our dogs is 14years old with multiple chronic health issues, and Cyndi and Karsynn are great at meeting all of her needs as well. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for anyone to take care of your fur babies.”

“Shelby is simply fantastic. Her reliability, genuine care, and excellent communication make her stand out. My dogs can be picky with people, but have warmed up to her rather quickly. I highly recommend their services to anyone seeking top-notch care for their furry friends.”

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and started taking care of them on my own when I was 13. Since then, I’ve helped friends, neighbors, and family with walking, feeding, bathing, and even administering medication. I absolutely love animals and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and temperaments, whether they need playful energy or gentle care. I’ve also cared for puppies, senior pets, and anxious animals with patience and love. I can promise your pets will be safe and well cared for in my hands I’m a student at UNR with a fully open schedule during the week, which makes pet care a perfect fit for me! I’m mainly available for daytime visits, drop-ins, and dog walking, and I’m happy to work with both consistent and last minute bookings. Whether your pet needs regular care or a quick visit while you’re away, I’ve got the time and flexibility to help. I care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where they feel the most safe and comfortable. I’m more than happy to send regular check updates, photos, or even a video call so you can say “Hi” while you’re away. If there’s any specific requests you have that would make you feel confident your pet was being taken care of then feel free to ask. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind and make sure your pet feels loved, safe, and happy.

“Kathryn has been reliable and trustworthy with walking my 2 doggies. I really have piece of mind knowing the dogs are going to get great care and a great walk while I'm at work!”

“My sweet golden LOVES Caelan. She goes above & beyond to care for my pup & always shares photos of her daily walks with me. Will most definitely keep rebooking with her in the future. 🤍”

About: I currently have three dogs of my own and have been around dogs my entire life. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routines, and quirks, and I take the time to learn what makes them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to caring for animals with the same love and attention I give my own. Whether it’s senior care, giving medications, or just making sure your dog gets enough play and affection, I’m reliable and ready to help. I am currently between jobs. As such, I am off all of July and half of August off so I’m 100% available for all your pet care needs! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I prioritize consistency, comfort, and safety. I follow each pet’s routine closely: feeding schedules, walks, medications, and playtime, so they feel secure and cared for. In a client’s home, I always respect the space and keep things tidy while making sure their pet feels relaxed and loved. In my own home, pets get plenty of attention, supervised play, and cozy spots to rest. I check in regularly with updates and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing.

“Jonathan is great with our husky dog. He’s also easy to communicate with, responds promptly, and accommodates our schedule changes with flexibility and ease. All around great experience!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since I was 8 and I absolutely enjoy the commitment! I’ve looked after a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, horses, and goats. Many of my neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I don’t see it as a chore, but rather an outlet for responsibility and comfort! I am off of school right now, I am available to take care of and check on your animals anytime. My weekdays and weekends are equally free, so any days work! I will be extremely attentive to your animals and the places they spend the most time, such as outside or where they eat. I’ll make sure to be familiar with your home and my surroundings so that everyone is comfortable!

About: I've taken care of pets (my own, neighbors', friends', and family pets) for over 15 years combined. Friends often tell me that I am deeply sweet and caring when it comes to taking care of animals, and as a bonus, I'm working on increasing the number of steps that I take per day, so taking your dog for a walk would help me reach my step goal! I had a job throughout the pandemic caring for 14 horses (and two barn cats) on a therapeutic riding ranch because I love animals so much. I am on Rover for two reasons: to earn money for college, and because I've been hanging out with as many pets as I can ever since my childhood dog passed away about a year ago. I would LOVE to cat sit for you as well since I have always loved and taken care of cats since my dad was allergic to them and I couldn't have one of my own growing up. Friends that I cat sit for often tell me how appreciative they are about how much I love their cats! I'm currently a marriage and family therapy master's program student with in-person clients daily (at UNR and in south Reno) throughout the week, and other than that I work a remote part-time job that I can easily do from your house/apartment if there is WiFi there or nearby. This might sound like it would be an obvious need for a pet sitter, but I have been told by many people in my life that I am both a fast learner and good with directions. I will be able to cater to your furry friend's specific needs easily. I also have a roomy SUV that, should worst come to worst, could transport pets easily to the nearest vet.

About: I have always had a passion for animals, so it was a natural fit for me to become a pet sitter during my high school years. Taking care of a variety of pets, from cats and dogs to birds and reptiles, was a great experience and I was able to learn a lot about animal care. I found that each pet had its own personality and needs, and I enjoyed getting to know each one. Taking care of animals is a fulfilling job, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to do it throughout my life. Pet care is an important part of my daily and weekly routine since I work from home. I ensure that I make time to care for my pets each day by providing them with proper nutrition, exercise, and companionship. In my home, we take great care to ensure that our pets are happy and healthy. We make sure they have regular checkups with the vet, nutritious meals, plenty of exercise, and lots of love and attention. We also stay on top of grooming and hygiene needs, and provide toys and other enrichment activities to keep them stimulated and entertained. We also keep them up to date on all necessary vaccinations and preventive medications. We believe that providing a safe and stimulating environment is the key to providing the best care for our pets.

About: I’ve had animals in my family my whole life. We got our first dog as a puppy when I was 8, and I have loved animals ever since. My current dog Obi is a rescue and he’s come a long way since we adopted him. I’ve watched and cared for many pets over the years. We’ve fostered both puppies and senior dogs. I’m use to both high energy and low energy pets. I love getting to know animals and all their different personalities. As someone who has used dog watching services before, I understand the anxiety that comes with leaving your pup with someone else, but I promise if you choose to let me look after your dog I’ll make sure they’re as comfortable as possible and treat them like they’re part of the family! I’m always happy to share pictures and videos so you know they’re doing well while you’re away. I work from home as a freelance writer, so I am happy to take your pet into my home or come and check on them while you are away. We have a big backyard and plenty of space, so we’re also happy to host your dog for however long you may need. We have a fenced in back yard with plenty of space to run around, also our dog Obi is very friendly and loves playing with other dogs if they need a buddy. He’s also good about leaving dogs alone if they don’t want to play. He always wants to walk, so I am happy to take your dog out on plenty of walks as well. We love hiking and will take any dogs who enjoy it along with!

Andee D.
“I've been working with dogs since I was a teenager, and Andee and I met a few years ago. She immediately struck me as someone with a deep passion for all animals, especially dogs and cats, and even horses! I have never witnessed her meet a dog who didn't love her right away. She has a great energy that really makes animals feel secure. Andee was always asking me questions about dogs, their psychology, their health and wellness, training methods, and more. She is always eager to learn anything I have to teach! There are very few people I would ever entrust my dogs to (as they are working dogs and have some unique quirks!) but leaving them in Andee's care really makes me feel secure in knowing they are getting the very best. She is knowledgeable, respectful of your rules for your dogs, and very trustworthy! You could do no wrong in choosing Andee as your sitter.”
