Growing up, I was surrounded by many different breeds and personalities, which helped me develop a deep understanding of their needs and behavior. One of the most meaningful experiences I had was caring for my senior dog, who lived to be 13 years old. In his later years, he developed arthritis and cataracts, and I was closely involved in managing his daily care, providing him with comfort, and making sure he stayed as active and happy as possible despite his health challenges. About: Hi there! I have been pet sitting off and on for over 10 years. I love every dog and strive to give them the best time possible. Enrichment is my specialty, as I love to help a dog's brain work. I am the owner of Your Pet Life Coach, and I help teach people about how enrichment activities can be fun for your pup and also help with behavior issues. I am a self-taught dog trainer and have trained a few dogs, even one for commericals and photo shoots. My ideal day would be chilling with the pup, allowing them to tell me what they would like to do: cuddle, play ball, train. I believe I read every dog very well. I have a certificate in Animal Reiki, Crystal Healing, and Massage, along with certification in pet first aid and CPR. I have experience with both geriatric seniors and puppies, helping old dogs get up and move around, and training puppies to potty train and perform basic obedience. I am available every evening during the week, for check ins, walking and other fun activities. I am almost always available the entire day on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I work a full time job at WashU. I am in the office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8-5. If your pet can not be alone that long, I can make arrangements with my husband to check on them during the day. He will also come to the meet and greet that we set up ahead of time. I am very thorough with retrieving all information from the pet parent, and also reading the pets body language. I follow the owners rules in their home and with their pet. I am available for house sitting (I have experience with plants and other small animals as well), for daily walks, and check ins.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs in the house hold as far back as I could remember! I have a genuine love for animals in general but especially our canine friends. I have served in law enforcement for nearly a decade and with that said safety, security and transparency are top of my list of priorities. I have worked closely with dogs my entire life and have trained several dogs to learn simple and more advanced commands which improves the overall behavior and wellbeing of any dog. My schedule is extremely flexible and all it takes is an open line of communication and most scheduling need can be met to fit the owners requests. Its important for me that a clients pet is treated like my own. I believe it takes integrity to car for someone’s dog and because they can not speak for themselves it worries pet owners that their dog may be mistreated when being cared for by another person. Rest assured I would make it my mission to treat your dog as if he/she were my own. My home is located on nearly 2 acres grassy open fields, with over 4000 sq ft of that space being fenced in for plenty of outdoor activities.

About: New to rover but have been a dog owner for 20+ years and have dog sat for friends and family countless times. I used to work with dog grooming and have 2 years of vet tech experience. new to rover but have been dog lover for years. I have 2 dogs of our own that are very friendly and love the company of other fur babies. I have a big fenced in yard with plenty of space for fur babies to run and get out some energy. I am very flexible to each fur babies needs whether it be diets, medication, or just playing with their favorite toy.

About: I’ve always lived with dogs, and now I have a dog. Me and my boyfriend, and Louie (Chihuahua mix) are very friendly . We’re living in an Air Force housing. (Not inside the base) I’m working full time at home with flexible schedules. I’m originally from Tokyo, Japan, lived in Hawaii for 10 years, moved here in 2 years ago. I have safe fence balcony. Safe house area, with gate code. My neighbor is in the Air Force, there are many parks inside the gate.

I grew up around dogs and have been helping care for them for the better part of 15 years I currently work from home and have open availability to help care for your pet! I’ll love them like my own and be sure to stick to any schedule you need me to I don’t have a fenced in yard but I do live near downtown Collinsville and enjoy walking dogs on nice days! We have a yard I can take them out potty in and will stick to any schedule you need me to. I’ll be home all day to let them out as much as they need and they can snuggle me while I work :)

About: I have experience with animals of all different sizes, ages and temperaments. I am new to Rover but definitely not new to taking care of animals. I have been fostering cats and dogs for years through MEHS, BAHS and stray rescue STL. Can provide proof if needed. I recently adopted one of my beautiful foster babies (Lilo). She is the only dog I have currently and is only 5 months old and very friendly with anyone and everything. I do have a 9 year old (Simba) and 6 month old (Charlie) cat, as well as a turtle (Peanut) I have had for 5 years. All of my animals are spayed/neutered. They are all allowed to enjoy the furniture just as much as I am. I would love to give your animals all the love and care while you are away. I am currently in college, so in my free time, I am usually home studying and cuddling up with my fur babies on the couch. I work part-time nights so I usually go in late while the animals are asleep so I am able to spend the day taking care of our pets. I make sure to feed them, give them a nice fresh bowl of clean water. Spoil them with a treat or two. Give them some love and affection, let them out to use the restroom and walk them if that is something you'd like me to do as well, as i know all animals have different needs and some need more exercise than others. If they are on a special diet or need any special care, just let me know as I am quite the note taker and can absolutely meet those needs for you.

About: I have been working in a dog boarding facility for some time now. I also have 5 dogs of my own ranging from a toy poodle to a Great Dane. I'm currently studying to become a zookeeper. I'm not afraid of any kind of animal, except maybe snakes. I don't like snakes. I have been pet sitting for families in my local area for 3-4 years and I have 30+ families. I am a foster parent to animals. I have hand raised kittens before that barely had a fighting chance after their mom was hit. I have also hand raised baby bunnies for the reason of the mother rejecting them. Animals are my passion and it shows in my work. When I watch animals, I typically do 3 visits per day and overnight for an additional charge.
