About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was about 10. I started to get involved in helping at animal shelters when I was 14. I volunteered at Animal Cecil County (1yr), BVSPCA and C-Line Stables (6m). I worked VCA as a Veterinary Technician Assistant where I work with dogs and cats all day helping to restrain, complete physical exam and etc. Now I am Veterinary Tech Assistant. Currently a DelTech student studying Veterinary Technology I currently am a Vet Tech Assistant while going part time to DelTech to become a LVT. I can fit pet care, better on the weekends and holidays for clients. I can take care of client’s pet as if they were my own. I typically feed my pets the healthiest food, sometimes I cook them a little treat. Playtime is all the time. If something was to happen you can count on me to be able to take your pet to the hospital I am a veterinary receptionist.

About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life and have spent most of my adult life volunteering for 2 animal rescue organizations. I fostered over 170 cats for my last organization (that was over a period of 15 years!) caring for all ages as well as taking in some with medical needs. I'm skilled at administering medications of all sorts and we currently have an asthmatic cat that takes an inhaler. I've been a "cat person" my whole life, but love dogs too! My husband and I love the large breeds, in particular Mastiffs. We currently have 3 cats plus a Mastiff who is the biggest baby. :-) We recently moved to Delaware (from just outside of DC) and I'm looking to re-start pet sitting as I LOVE meeting new furbabies and taking care of them. I used to pet sit in VA but put it to the side when fostering took up most of my free time. I recently took an early retirement and have plenty of free time so can offer flexibility. Since I'm married my husband helps takes care of our own cats/dog, and he understands my love of animals and desire to help others. Upon my arrival home kitty was calm, very content , and had an extensive grooming! My home was exceptionally clean with the removal of litter and cat food cans. Jen met me before the sitting dates and she was extremely knowledgeable . She has tons of common sense--- You will not need to give her pages of instruction. She GETS IT ! In addition, my plants were watered during this 94 degree weather , mail was placed neatly inside, and trash cans were taken to the curb . Photos are sent to you at each visit.
