About: Over 10 years of experience caring for dogs, cats and small animals in clients' homes. I am a Wicomico county public school teacher this proving a clean background as well as a patient and caring demeanor. I cared for my own diabetic cat for 2 years so insulin administration would be no problem. Due to some unforseen life changes I have a new situation and temporary schedule. For December I have full availability for walks and drop-ins M-F. I have most weekends free but need bring my 2 children with me. They are 8 and 10 years old and adore dogs. ♥️ I am happy to do a meet and greet prior to a booking if you have a child friendly fur baby and interest in working with me. We also have a fenced in back yard you could drop off to. 🐾🐶🐕🐕‍🦺😁 I will care for the animals as you direct me to. I am happy to take dogs in my vehicle for outings to dog parks or other events. I have a fenced in yard at my own home but have 2 guinea pigs and a cat so visits to my home would be dependent on tolerance to other pets and my 2 children who reside with me full time.

About: I've had animals in my life forever. I grew up riding horses since age 3. I love animals from big to small. I've had pets from rats, lizards, dogs, and cats! I'll care for your fur baby as if they were my own! I have two dogs myself one is a 5 year old Chesapeake Retriever and the other is an 11 year old Ahlaspo. I have also had three cats withing the past 15 years who I adored. I've dog sat for the past 3 years as a side job and I love it ! I'm reliable and respectful of others homes, and give all my attention to the critters I'm watching! I can care for all their personal needs and make sure they're happy!

About: I grew up with a Weimaraner who was our family dog for years. Two years ago, I rescued a puppy from a shelter in South Carolina and trained her myself — she's now energetic, well-behaved, and a total sweetheart, so I know what it takes to work with young, high-energy dogs. We also have two rescue cats at home, one of whom needed to be bottle-fed as a kitten, so I'm comfortable with more delicate or high-needs care too. I've been around dogs and cats my whole life, at every stage — puppies, seniors, and everything in between — and I treat every pet like it's my own. I work remotely, so I'm home most of the day, which means feeding, walks, and check-ins happen on a consistent schedule rather than being squeezed in around a commute or office hours. If a pet needs a midday walk, a bathroom break, or just some company, I'm already there for it. I'm also an active person by nature — I played soccer for years and still love running and being outdoors — so walks and playtime are things I genuinely enjoy, not just tasks to check off. I'm naturally attentive too — I notice when something feels off with a pet, whether it's energy level, appetite, or mood, and I'd rather over-communicate with an owner than assume everything's fine. In my home (boarding): Pets have full run of a comfortable, pet-proofed space — not crated or confined all day. I stick close to their normal routine (same feeding times, walk schedule, etc.) so the transition feels as seamless as possible, and I send photo/video updates throughout their stay so you always know how they're doing. In your home (house sitting): I follow your exact routine — feeding times, walk schedules, medications, and any specific instructions you leave. I treat the house like I would my own: pets stay comfortable in their own space, mail and packages get brought in, and I keep you updated with regular check-ins. Drop-ins & walks: I show up on time and give pets my full attention for the visit — no rushing through it. That means real walks (not just a quick lap), fresh water, playtime, and a few extra minutes of company if they want it. I always send a summary and photos after each visit so you know exactly how things went.

I have had five collies over the last 35 years and two cats. I also grew up with a German Shepherd. I am recently retired, so I am pretty flexible to arrange care any day of the week, with some notice. I do prefer some notice to be organized with my calendar. If they are on a routine, diet or have special needs, feel less stressed knowing it will be done. I have a diabetic dog so I am comfortable with administering shots and understand the importance of schedules, dietary needs and alertness for behavior. All the fur cats and dogs are welcomed anywhere in the home and on furniture, including cuddles for naps. I love playing, loving and training. I’ve trained one of my fur kids (Bella) to be my service animal. And because every breed has their own DNA hardwire, I make sure I’m aware of their general habits. I am a full time FurMom and am the go to person when someone needs a sitter because I don’t have other commitments and I can stay home, walk, train and/or care. I have an enclosed backyard patio with some dirt area for the bathroom and concrete to sun bathe. I also have a roof top deck fenced in if it’s a nice day for sun and breeze. I live in a really dog friendly neighborhood and have 3 floors for stretching their legs. I have a spare bedroom for anyone to relax in and an indoor camera to see monitor I am at home full time to pet sit and am able to maintain timely health care, recreation, feedings for your loved furry loved ones. Everyone is welcomed wherever they feel comfortable and safe. I have a quiet room separately if needed and I let my dogs out every 2-3 hours for bathroom breaks and continuous refreshing water. For my cats, I make sure all their preferences are in order and litter is cleaned out daily. I’ll spend laser chase and smart games throughout the day.

I am available to travel if needed and have a flexible schedule! I have grown up with at least 3 dogs in our home at all times. I’m a lover of animals and have been house/pet sitting for over 15 years now (not including high school and college). I’m very flexible and cater to the needs of your pet and household. I understand that pets can get stressed when their owners are away. Patience is a strength of mine, and I love to be outside to play with the animals! I’ve watched dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, breeds, and health needs, and ensure that each pet gets the love and care they deserve while their owners are away. I will imitate their daily schedule so that they are continuously comfortable. I work full time, Monday-Friday (8-4:30) and would be available for walks and drop-ins before and after work, as well as during my lunch hour. As for pet sitting, I am available for any length of time, but would still be popping in during work days during my lunch hour! I aim to make sure that your pets’ day-to-day routine remains as normal as possible. I will change my schedule to work around your pet’s needs, whether that is a scheduled medicine dose or a long walk during lunch.

She responded right away to my messages and made sure I knew that Lady the cat was in good hands. Pam was nice enough to do a mini meet with Lady and visit to my apartment prior to the pet sitting. She sent me a great little update and photos and was sure to wear a mask and keep things clean during the visit. I am happy that my cat was in good hands and definitely will be contacting Pam again the next time I am out of town!”
