“We’ve used Melanie as our kitty caregiver for several years. She is exceptional! Our kitties know that we’re leaving them when our luggage comes out. They definitely know when I have ‘the chat’ with them. That we’re leaving them for a few days or a week or two. And that Melanie, ‘their step mom’, will be coming over to take care of them each morning and evening. She also pats, talks, and plays with each one💕 But wouldn’t you think our kitties would be excited when we return home? We get a quick “I’m happy to see you!” look and then naps begin again 😆. (I know. . . they are cats🤗).”

I am a Wicomico county public school teacher this proving a clean background as well as a patient and caring demeanor. I cared for my own diabetic cat for 2 years so insulin administration would be no problem. Due to some unforseen life changes I have a new situation and temporary schedule. For December I have full availability for walks and drop-ins M-F. I have most weekends free but need bring my 2 children with me. They are 8 and 10 years old and adore dogs. ♥️ I am happy to do a meet and greet prior to a booking if you have a child friendly fur baby and interest in working with me. We also have a fenced in back yard you could drop off to. 🐾🐶🐕🐕‍🦺😁 I will care for the animals as you direct me to. I am happy to take dogs in my vehicle for outings to dog parks or other events. I have a fenced in yard at my own home but have 2 guinea pigs and a cat so visits to my home would be dependent on tolerance to other pets and my 2 children who reside with me full time.

Think about this summer when you are out having fun and have to rush home to feed or walk your pet. I don't overnight in my home or yours because I have four animals of my own. Sorry. I’m retired and have a very flexible schedule. Most any time of day . Night time in a well lit area is preferred for me I don't overnight here or at you home as I have to be here for my own pets. But I can spend the day .

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a young teenager. They give unconditional love and are so happy that they make you happy. I have two of my own and would have more if I could. I regularly run with them, play ball, play tug of war and even swim with them in the ocean when I can make it there. I give baths and clip nails. About: Animal lover looking to help out in the colder months of the year. In need of a flexible schedule due to elderly grandparents. Caring for animals can get harder as the cold months approach, eager to help where my schedule allows. Pet care is a daily routine with my cat (Domino). Dogs and cats have been close members of my family since I was a child. My services will not be carried out in my home due to elderly grandparents and their current medical conditions. However very happy to travel to you!

About: I love all kinds of dogs! I have my own 2 year old puppy Scooby. He is a Lab Great Dane mix, I call him the gentle giant. He is also super hyper so I can handle high energy dogs! I also have a 2 year old puppy Damsel she's a Bolonka (very small breed similar to a shih tzu). I had a dog growing up who was blind and have diabetes so I am able to assist in giving medicine to your pup if they need it. I love taking long walks on trails or around the neighborhood and giving the dogs enrichment toys that tire them out. I Can't wait to meet your pup!! I am currently available any day or time to walk your dog or stop in to play. I am currently in between jobs and looking for something fun to do in the meantime! I normally take my dog on 2 short walks and one long walk a day. Occasionally we go to the dog park. I can take your pup on a nice walk, short or long, or to the dog park if there is one near by!
