Tootsie has a bad back and seizure medication to take. Kathy was very careful to listen to all our concerns. She updated us twice daily with a lovely note about her day and a picture. We knew she was in great hands and we enjoyed our week with no worries. Tootsie had a wonderful time and had all her needs met. She had multiple walks a day and lots of attention. About: Growing up in a home filled with the joyful barks of dogs and the gentle chirps of a parakeet, my love for animals started early. For over a decade, I've been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family, caring for everything from playful pups and curious cats to turtles and farm animals. I currently have a very flexible schedule. I do work a 8-5 job but it is mostly remote with occasional in-person days, allowing me to be at home most of the time. I have a 3.5 year old furbaby (neutered, up to date on all shots, and on all preventatives) who is friendly and loves to play with any dog. He is crate trained as well.

“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”
