“Mirra was great! Very attentive to the needs of the pups and quick to communicate. One of ours had some stitches on her flank. Mirra kept her from licking them and checked in with a picture just to make sure they were ok along the way. She also stripped the bed which is very much appreciated! About: I've been working as a dog groomer for the past two years, but had to pause that to focus on my health. I've volunteered walking dogs in animal shelters, and as a child mucked horse barns and brushed/washed horses in exchange for riding lessons. 😂 I've loved animals my entire life. I was raised in a family of 2-6 dogs (it increased frequently) and will admit only here that I loved them more than I loved my sister! I'm currently coming out of treatment and unemployed, so I have plenty of time to watch your furry friends! My only obligations are a weekly monday appointment and a biweekly friday appointment. I have a very nice, soft voice for any frightened pups, and am told I'm a bit of an animal whisperer. I will do my very best to connect with your animals and individualize my care in any way I can!

About: My family has owned hunting dogs for years, giving me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and energy levels. I’ve helped with training, reinforcing good behavior, daily walks, exercise, feeding, and plenty of affection. I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and safety when caring for pets. Whether your dog loves outdoor adventures or just wants extra cuddles and attention, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m available at almost any time, as I don’t start school until August! I can stay over night on most weekends, but just check with me to be sure! I have a portable crate that can take small-medium dogs or cats on adventures! I can do walks, clean up, playtime, sleepovers and lots of cuddles!

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since I was ten. I have always had both in my household. I have experience caring for puppies and older dogs alike, as well as kittens and adult cats. I’m currently working part-time to focus on my academics. I’m a full-time student at Texas A&M, but am eager to fit in work whenever I’m available! Though my schedule fluctuates throughout the year, I’m currently available everyday after 2pm. Tuesdays can vary, but I’m usually flexible! I’ve watched pets in client’s households over intermediate periods of time on numerous occasions. I am comfortable crating, walking, and feeding (including special dietary needs), as well as other household tasks such as collecting mail, basic housekeeping, and plant care.

“This was our first visit with Billy. I gave a long list of concerns about our 95lb coonhound and Huskypoo that likes to run away. He came back to walk the dogs later that night and walked into a mess that our pups had created. I'll spare the details, but Billy promptly contacted me that he had 3 dead chickens to clean up (2 inside the house). He didn't call me freaking out, and in turn I would freak out. He text me the info and we talked. He asked for a broom to clean them up. A BROOM?? Billy went went wayyy over the top for us and cleaned up and removed 3 dead chickens before we even got home. I've got a ton of respect for the way he handled the situation and our pups. Needless to say, Billy is our dude now. Thanks, Billy!”
