About: I’ve grown up with animals and currently volunteer as a dog walker at the APA Adoption Center, where I’ve walked everything from tiny pups to dogs as big as I am. I’m great at reading a pet’s moods, wants, and needs, and I love to play or simply be a comforting lap for cuddles. Friends and family have trusted me as a dog-sitter for years, so I bring both personal and hands-on shelter experience. I’m currently in between jobs, which means I can offer a very flexible schedule. I’m available early mornings, mid-day, and into the early-to-mid evening — perfect for walks, drop-ins, or cuddle breaks. I always make sure I’m using the right equipment for each dog (slip leash, gentle lead, harness, etc.) and I ask pet parents about any known triggers, such as reactivity to other dogs or fear of loud noises. I keep treats on hand to reward good behavior and redirect attention if needed. For strong pullers, I’m experienced with using safe techniques like the field harness method. My priority is making every walk safe, positive, and stress-free.

“Things fell through with my previous sitter (that wasn’t from Rover). I reached out to Kaity last minute, as I was scrambling to find someone to watch my chihuahua. She came within 1.5 hours of contacting her to do a meet and greet with Bailey since is weary of strangers from a traumatic past. She even moved around some her schedule to accommodate us. He was reserved at first, but quickly warmed up to Kaity. On day 2, he was already waiting at the door for her and greeting her with toys and kisses. I get cute pictures and a little summary of how their time together went. I would definitely recommend Kaity to anyone and I have her on weekly repeat visits. We are happy!”

About: Ever since I can remember I’ve always had a dog in the family! I currently have three rescues of my own and they are my babies! I have experience caring for small and large breed dogs. I’ve successfully potty trained my three pups as well as a few foster puppies so puppies are no problem. I also have experience walking all different kinds of shelter pups so I’m accustomed to learning new personalities and building trust. I spoil every fur baby as if they were my own and I hope I get to meet yours :) I am a registered nurse and am transitioning to teaching. After mid August I will be available weekends and typical school holidays ie. spring breaks, summer breaks etc. Depending on age and my schedule, I have created or designated an area ( i.e kitchen) for my pups during work hours etc. I know sometimes it may take a little bribery with a treat, but that’s no problem! Just let me know what your normal routine is and I’ll follow it. :)

About: Hi there, my name is Annie and I truly love dogs.  I grew up in a house where we always had at least two pups to play with and care for.  I learned at a young age what it meant to be responsible for a pet and I've loved every minute of that responsibility. I believe that the best way to care for a dog is to take the time to understand their own unique personality and needs, which will allow me to customize their stay accordingly.  My current pet situation is caring for our two dogs - a spunky 16 year old, 20lb mutt and a loving 9 year old Lab mix, while keeping two toddlers entertained! I'm excited for the opportunity to meet and care for your 4-legged friend! I currently work part-time while taking care of our two toddlers. I'm expected to be in the office one day a week but the day can vary as needed. We have a large fenced in yard. Our senior dog loves sniffing the perimeter, while the other dog does her business and hurries back inside. I'm used to dogs having different needs!

About: My fiancé and I have both had dogs growing up, and have spent time dog sitting for friends and family. We have a young dog (Stella) that loves to play with any dog she meets. We both work hybrid, so there is always someone home during the work day. We have a fenced in backyard that is perfect for dogs, but we also prioritize taking our dog on walks in the evenings. About: I can be very patient with your pet, as I needed to learn it from my own dog. My dog suffers separation anxiety and I am still training him. Some weeks I am working from home and I can take care of your pet. In the meantime your pet can also play with mine and I will take them potty together. Also I can be some weekends with your pet. I will give them their own space in the house and I will also feed them separately to avoid any issue fight because of the food.
