“Ryan took great care of my dog while I was out of town for a week. She stopped by my house 3 times a day and walked my dog in the evenings. She sent me cute pictures which I appreciated. I was so happy that she was in good hands while I was gone.”

“Our boys feel so comfortable with Allison. She checked in on them after a bad tornado came near our place late at night. She handled our long trip like a cakewalk and we could not be more thrilled to have her as our go to cat sitter.”

About: I’ve grown up with animals and currently volunteer as a dog walker at the APA Adoption Center, where I’ve walked everything from tiny pups to dogs as big as I am. I’m great at reading a pet’s moods, wants, and needs, and I love to play or simply be a comforting lap for cuddles. Friends and family have trusted me as a dog-sitter for years, so I bring both personal and hands-on shelter experience. I’m currently in between jobs, which means I can offer a very flexible schedule. I’m available early mornings, mid-day, and into the early-to-mid evening — perfect for walks, drop-ins, or cuddle breaks. I always make sure I’m using the right equipment for each dog (slip leash, gentle lead, harness, etc.) and I ask pet parents about any known triggers, such as reactivity to other dogs or fear of loud noises. I keep treats on hand to reward good behavior and redirect attention if needed. For strong pullers, I’m experienced with using safe techniques like the field harness method. My priority is making every walk safe, positive, and stress-free.

“Things fell through with my previous sitter (that wasn’t from Rover). I reached out to Kaity last minute, as I was scrambling to find someone to watch my chihuahua. She came within 1.5 hours of contacting her to do a meet and greet with Bailey since is weary of strangers from a traumatic past. She even moved around some her schedule to accommodate us. He was reserved at first, but quickly warmed up to Kaity. On day 2, he was already waiting at the door for her and greeting her with toys and kisses. I get cute pictures and a little summary of how their time together went. I would definitely recommend Kaity to anyone and I have her on weekly repeat visits. We are happy!”

About: Ever since I can remember I’ve always had a dog in the family! I currently have three rescues of my own and they are my babies! I have experience caring for small and large breed dogs. I’ve successfully potty trained my three pups as well as a few foster puppies so puppies are no problem. I also have experience walking all different kinds of shelter pups so I’m accustomed to learning new personalities and building trust. I spoil every fur baby as if they were my own and I hope I get to meet yours :) I am a registered nurse and am transitioning to teaching. After mid August I will be available weekends and typical school holidays ie. spring breaks, summer breaks etc. Depending on age and my schedule, I have created or designated an area ( i.e kitchen) for my pups during work hours etc. I know sometimes it may take a little bribery with a treat, but that’s no problem! Just let me know what your normal routine is and I’ll follow it. :)

“Brad was very responsive to a last minute request to let my dogs out when I couldn’t get back home in time to feed them. He fed them and let them out and hung out with them for awhile.”

About: Hi there, my name is Annie and I truly love dogs. I grew up in a house where we always had at least two pups to play with and care for. I learned at a young age what it meant to be responsible for a pet and I've loved every minute of that responsibility. I believe that the best way to care for a dog is to take the time to understand their own unique personality and needs, which will allow me to customize their stay accordingly. My current pet situation is caring for our two dogs - a spunky 16 year old, 20lb mutt and a loving 9 year old Lab mix, while keeping two toddlers entertained! I'm excited for the opportunity to meet and care for your 4-legged friend! I currently work part-time while taking care of our two toddlers. I'm expected to be in the office one day a week but the day can vary as needed. We have a large fenced in yard. Our senior dog loves sniffing the perimeter, while the other dog does her business and hurries back inside. I'm used to dogs having different needs!

“Allison was amazing with Trinity! She cared for her as if she was her own. I appreciate the great communication, check in photos, and attention to detail. I would highly recommend Allison's services”

About: My fiancé and I have both had dogs growing up, and have spent time dog sitting for friends and family. We have a young dog (Stella) that loves to play with any dog she meets. We both work hybrid, so there is always someone home during the work day. We have a fenced in backyard that is perfect for dogs, but we also prioritize taking our dog on walks in the evenings. We have a fenced in yard that can be used to let dogs out to play, we also have a play pen and crate if needed but we let our dog free roam most of the time.

I follow all care instructions closely, keep pets happy and engaged, and provide regular updates so owners always feel confident their pets are safe and well cared for.

“Janet was great! I have complete trust in her. She followed all instructions with our elderly dog and made sure to send pics and updates during her visit! Not to mention, our dog loves her, which is even more important! I will be using her again in the future!”

“Anna has done a wonderful job with out dog, Luna. She always communicates with us about how the visit went plus send photos! She takes her for walks and plays with her. Luna is a big puppy, and can be a handful, but Anna is great with her! We definitely recommend Anna!”

About: I can be very patient with your pet, as I needed to learn it from my own dog. My dog suffers separation anxiety and I am still training him. Some weeks I am working from home and I can take care of your pet. In the meantime your pet can also play with mine and I will take them potty together. Also I can be some weekends with your pet. I will give them their own space in the house and I will also feed them separately to avoid any issue fight because of the food.

“Frances is awesome! She has taken care of my cats many times. She is prompt and communicates very well about how they are doing. She feeds them, makes sure they have water and everything they need and plays with them. She also gave my older cat liquid oral medication. I will definitely have her take care of my cats again!”

“I can’t recommend Janna enough! She has watched my three dogs and every experience has been wonderful. Taking care of three dogs, especially one that's older and has special needs and another being a younger dog who is full of puppy energy, isn’t an easy job, but Janna handles it with so much patience, love, and attention. She make sure everyone gets plenty of playtime, walks, and cuddles, and they always keep me updated so I know my pups are happy and safe. It gives me such peace of mind knowing that when I’m away, my dogs are in the best hands. I trust her completely and feel so lucky to have someone so caring and dependable to look after my furry family.”

Annie H.
“Annie's love of dogs is relentless. Over the last year, I've seen her and her dog become close, inseparable friends. Annie leads an active life, but she always puts the needs of her dog first. She's great about showing love and affection, but she is also very aware of the repercussions of spoiling a pet, so she is very conscious about behavior/reward when interacting with animals. But all of these things aside, the thing that makes Annie standout as a dog caregiver is simply her love of dogs. Would recommend, 10/10.”

Allison M.Star Sitter

Carlos always makes sure he goes for a walk at least 3 times a day and has a lot of playtime. Carlos is kind, considerate and passionate about pet care. He always put Yuki’s needs before ours (as it should). I can assure you, that Carlos and I will take care and love your dog/cat as if it were our own.
