“Kathryn truly takes her job seriously and it shows. She paid special attention to my cats’ needs and went above and beyond to ensure they had ample play and snuggle time. I loved that she took photos on every visit and a little blurb about my cats’ demeanor and exploits. Highly recommend her services and will definitely be using her again on my next vacation!”

“Vanessa is fantastic! This was our first longer trip away from our kitten, and we felt so at ease knowing that Vanessa was there with our three cats! Thanks again! 🤗🥰”

“We had such a great experience! Shantel took wonderful care of our dogs, and we never had to worry knowing they were in good hands. She was thoughtful, attentive, and went above and beyond. We would absolutely recommend her and look forward to having her watch our dogs again!”

About: I've grown up with vastly different dogs; my first was a grumpy senior cocker spaniel and my last was the sweetest, smartest Australian Shepard/blue heeler. I've also taken care of friends' and family's pets like my aunt's deaf pitbull and my cousin's St. Bernard. Needless to say, I have a wide range of pet experience. I'm currently an online graduate student, which means I have flexibility to work around yours and your pet's schedule. I'm available most days with available times from early morning to late evening. It's important for a pet to feel safe in their home. It's important to follow a pet's boundaries, I try to cater to their needs and their routine.

About: I've looked after dogs and cats for around 15 years, very comfortable with both. Getting to know a pet and learning their personality and preferences is important to me, I want us both to have a good time! I'm currently work part-time and I'm a student, taking most of my classes online so I can be flexible! Mondays and Wednesdays I'm pretty busy in the morning, but I'm usually free by 2-3pm. I have two cats that are very well-socialized with other cats and small to medium sized dogs. Sometimes I put up a gate and allow the cats to sun themselves on the deck, which they love! In other people's homes, I make sure to tread lightly and let the pets take the lead on getting comfortable with me being in their space.
“Annika and Nathan C were incredible. I was an idiot and booked a hotel that didn’t allow pets during a cross country move from the state of Mississippi. These two answered my last minute request, were instantly comfortable with my high energy cats, and saved me from a ton of stress. They sent pictures throughout the stay and even hand delivered them to me the next morning. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.”

About: Hello! I have always had a love for animals especially dogs and cats. I had my own dog, Charlie, who had complex health issues and unfortunately is no longer with me. He made me comfortable with giving medications, insulin/allergy shots, and following instructions with dietary restrictions that I can also provide your pets with when needed. I currently work full time M-F, but my schedule is flexible during the week and most weekends. I have also been employed for over a year with a company in the F/M area providing pet care services in people's homes. I LOVE what I do and always looking for more opportunities to meet new furry friends. My schedule is flexible and I respond quickly to text/phone calls or email when reaching out looking for pet care. I'm able to do morning shifts before I head to my full time job M-F, lunch breaks, and after work. I can often move my schedule around if you need other times throughout the day too. Just ask! Weekends are more open when I am not out of town. I prefer going to the pets home to provide care where they are in a familiar environment. I can provide walks, bring your pet outside to play, clean litter boxes, feed and fill their water, administer medication etc. Boarding in my home can also be provided, as I have a pet and smoke free home and can work with your pets needs to make them feel safe and at home.

Let’s talk and figure out a schedule that works for you! At my own house, I have a medium yard, and live in a safe neighbor hood. At your house, I will do my best to care for your pet in the routine that they are used to.
About: Hi there! I'm Crystal — a lifelong animal lover with a calm, grounded energy that pets naturally connect with. I currently work full-time, but I’m available on my days off for drop-ins, walks, and in-home sitting. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and always make sure each pet gets personalized attention, whether that’s playtime, a calm cuddle session, or just reassuring company. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including anxious or shy pups. I’m patient, observant, and take safety seriously. You can count on me to keep you updated with messages and photos every visit so you always know how your pet is doing. "My dogsitting business fits my schedule, as I can handle dog care at any time. I am self employed as a process server, so I make my own schedule. "I provide flexible pet care in my home or the client's, including feeding, walks, playtime, and attention based on each pet's needs ensuring no anxiety.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
