About: I'm a dog owner myself, and I used to volunteer at a dog shelter where I went to college. I got to take care cats dogs and plenty of other types of animals like chinchillas and rabbits and cats. I've also taken care friends pets when they are out of town. I'm currently back in school online and pretty much just taking care of the house and my dog at this point so I have plenty of time to check in on pets. I have my own dog who is highly energetic so I am used to taking them on long walks or playing with them till they get tired. So whatever their energy levels are I'm certain they will be well taken care of.

About: Medically retired Veteran and stay at home dad with lots of time on my hands to care for fur kids and keep a watchful eye on them. I have dog sat for friends' pets and personal pets that I've owned for over 30 years. I don't currently have another job. So, aside from medical appointments, I don't have any issues with daily or weekly routines. I should be able to conform to any and all needs. I always care for every pet as though that pet were my own. I know how sensitive each pet can be, so I try my best to keep that in mind when dealing with someone else's pet.

About: I grew up on a farm, so I’ve basically been around animals my whole life; dogs, cats, and a mix of everything else that comes with that! I’m really comfortable with all temperaments, breeds, and ages, whether it’s a high-energy dog that needs structure or a senior pet that needs a slower, more patient approach. I’ve trained dogs before and I understand how they communicate through behavior and body language, which helps me read situations quickly and keep things calm and safe. I’m the type of person who doesn’t get overwhelmed easily with animals, and feel really comfortable with them! I treat every pet like they’re my own, with love, and application of knowledge of the breed. I work 8:30–5 in Cedar Bluff, so I’m usually available early mornings, evenings, and fully open on weekends. I’m pretty structured with my time, so when I commit to a pet, I will plan around them and make sure they’re not rushed or squeezed in. I’m used to balancing a busy schedule, and I always make pet care something I’m fully present for when I’m there! I’m big on safety and just being aware of what’s going on with the animal at all times. I follow instructions exactly, keep routines consistent, and pay attention to behavior changes, appetite, energy, and stress signals. I’m confident handling leashes, reactivity, and different personalities because I’ve been around animals long enough to stay calm in those situations. I also communicate clearly with updates and pictures so you’re never guessing how your pet is doing- you’ll know they’re safe, good, and taken care of.
