“Emma is our doggo's newest best friend. She takes him on long walks and sends lots of pictures of a very happy looking pooch. I am very thankful to have Emma as part of Walter's life. It's so reassuring knowing we've got someone who cares for him like we would.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for family, friends, and friends of friends for 10 years. I love interacting with pets, outdoor adventures, and playing my guitar for the pets I watch! I can assure you that your pet will be well loved and have a blast while you are away! Please don’t hesitate to reach out for references or questions! Because I only work on the weekends, I have an extremely flexible schedule during the week. I have plenty of time on my hands and would love to spend it with your animals! When I care for pets, I treat them like part of the family! I make sure they feel safe, loved, and entertained. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, walks, and any needs like medication.

“Monica did an awesome job stopping by to let Chancho out for potty breaks and playtime. Great communicator that responds quickly and also shares pics of her visits with Chancho. Thank you Monica!!”

About: I’m a proud dog mom to two pups—one full of energy and the other a total couch potato—so I’m used to handling different personalities! I know how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby, and I treat every pet I care for like my own. I’m currently studying online for my real estate license, so my schedule is super flexible! I can easily adjust my day to fit your pet’s needs—whether that’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or overnight stays. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else—that’s why I prioritize communication and trust. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos, and I’m happy to accommodate any special requests or needs your pet may have.

About: While I have cared for a number of my own pets over the years, I also held down a career as a veterinary technician. With this experience, I not only gained medical knowledge, but also gained experience in pet handling, behavior management, and responsive training. I currently work a full time position with open remote capabilities. I work five minutes from my home and can easily make regular trips to the house to provide extra outdoor breaks to any pet. I also am very active with my own lovable hound dog. We take regular evening walks and spend every morning basking in the sun in our fenced in backyard. I care for every pet like they are my own. I respect every pet parents wishes on the care and safety of their pet but will also allow them to have the freedom and comfort that they would have in their own homes. We live in a child free home with a fully fenced in back yard in a quiet suburban neighborhood that offers a peaceful and safe place to live and play.

“She was quick to respond to my request, and very accommodating. I could tell when I got home a poitive difference in my dogs, so I know she treated them very well. She documented well, and got a great picture of all three of my dogs which NEVER happens! I will continue to use Alicia often!”

About: Hi there! My name is Sydney, and I’ve been a dedicated caregiver for years—both to people and pets. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your furry family members, and I’m here to offer the same compassion and attentiveness I give in my work as a healthcare professional and caregiver. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I’m patient, calm, and tuned in to their unique behaviors and comfort zones. As a medical student, I can’t have a pet of my own right now—but I miss being around animals! Rover allows me to help others while getting some tail wags and cuddles in return. Your pet's safety, happiness, and well-being will always be my top priority. I have a flexible academic schedule and have the availability to care for your pets throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Whether your dog needs midday walks or your cat prefers attention during quieter hours, I can be there when you need me most. I believe that every pet deserves a safe, calm, and consistent environment—especially when their family is away. I always take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, preferences, and needs so I can build a trusting bond with them. I follow your instructions closely, maintain routines, and create a stress-free space where your pet feels comfortable and secure. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and check-ins, so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. I treat every animal as if they were my own, with lots of love, patience, and protection.

About: I have worked with over 100 dogs in the past year and have great experience dealing with different personalities. I'm very motivated, experienced, proactive, and I enjoy working around all kinds of animals. I currently own two dogs, a cat, and a few other small animals. I can provide walks, baths, play time, feeding, and love while you're away on vacation. I hope to hear from you soon so we can set something up for you! Although I don’t work in animal rescue anymore, I do work from home which means I can check on your babies whenever you need me to! I have lots of experience working with dogs in a house sitting and can easily crate your dog and will go slow with them if need be.

About: Growing up, I was the kid that would rather hang out with my pets than go hang out with other kids. I spend just about all day every day with animals, and that’s how I prefer it. I currently work in veterinary medicine and have 2 dogs and 2 rabbits of my own. If I am not with my own pups or at work, I am probably volunteering at an animal shelter. I have worked with all types of dogs, and have a soft spot for the knuckleheads, they’re usually just misunderstood in my opinion. I’d love to hang out with your furry friend, if I would like the right fit, I’d love to meet them! My top priority is making sure my pets aren’t just “cared” for, but truly loved and happy. Different pets have different needs & that is okay! There is no one size fits all in pet care. Some dogs are fine being couch potatoes, others want to explore every tree they can find!! I want to take care of pets how they need, not in whatever way is most convenient. I want to make sure your pet feels as comfortable as possible. Whether that is slow introductions or meeting with LOTS of treats. Their wellbeing is my top priority. Pets are truly family members and deserved to be cared for just as much. I strive to listen to pet parents and understand their pets quirks to help make it the best experience possible for all.

About: Hi! My name is Beth! I absolutely love animals! My husband and I have four dogs and four cats that we care for. They are our babies! So, I know how important getting the best care for your fur babies is! I can walk, feed, play or just check in for a potty break if need be. I had an older dog that had to take medicine every day for cancer, sadly he has passed on. So I am also able to give medicine if that's what your baby needs. I am also available to check on cats. I work as a school photographer, so if you need pictures of your babies while I am caring for them I will be more than happy to provide that! If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask! I work a Monday through Friday job, usually until about 5pm. So I am available for drop-ins and walks, I am available anytime on Saturday and Sunday, and then Monday through Friday in the evenings or really early mornings. I unfortunately cannot care for anymore in my home, especially since I have an over protective pit mix who is very jealous. However in the clients home, I am very respectful and a people pleaser. I will do exactly as directed to the very best of my ability.

We have 2 cats in our home who are used to being around dogs (one was born on a farm with all types of animals!). We love dogs but we currently travel too much for it to make sense to add one to our family! As we do have young children, any animal we have in our home must be child friendly! They will be loved and played with a lot in this home! Looking forward to hearing from you! Shannon I am a stay at home mom and will be available throughout the day for your animal’s needs. Your pet will be let out often throughout the day and will not be left alone for extended periods of time. My children and I will love your pets like our own! We have a large yard (though not fenced) and a great (safe!) neighborhood for walks.

I currently have 2 Australian cattle dogs adopted from Oak Ridge and Knoxville. They have both passed advanced training at PetSmart! If they need any other types of care such as feeding, changing litter, administering medicine, that can be done as well. I am dedicated to providing quality service to ensure your pets are happy, healthy, and safe. Nothing is more important then making sure your animals are comfortable and well taken care of. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me to discuss the care you require! I am available anytime of the week. Multiples visits per day if needed! Regularly scheduled weekly visits are available as well, typically for clients that need their dog walked. I will care for your pets the same way I would care for mine. “Kayla was great for our dog Meatball! He is a happy pup with her and she made sure to play with him a little and get some of his bulldog energy out!”

Bailey A.
“I've been hiring Bailey to take care of many cats over the years. She's one of the few people I trust with them while I'm away. When she's sitting for me, that's one less thing I have to worry about when I'm traveling. I know they'll be fed, played with, loved on, medicated, and their litter box scooped. And she always sends me cute photos of them to let me know how they're doing, which I really love. I'm an extremely picky cat-mom and she puts up with all my craziness with no complaints. I've had cats that needed medication and daily sub-q fluids or had special diet needs, and she had no problem accommodating them. I highly recommend Bailey to anyone who needs a pet sitter. It's obvious loves all animals, from dogs and cats to reptiles and fish and that love shows in the way she cares for your pets.”

Michaela S.
“Michaela has a huge heart for animals, especially dogs. She is currently in college on a pre-veterinary track, and has worked at multiple animal hospitals as a vet tech and receptionist. As the owner of two dogs, her pets have been a number one priority. She ensures her dogs have the correct diet and supplements, and makes sure her dogs have enough exercise. She also makes sure her dogs have play time, walks, training, and food puzzles, and has started getting them involved in dog sports. Her care for all pets has also been evident in her work at veterinary hospitals. Talking with her about her work, I can tell she is very invested in the pets that come in.”

Elizabeth L.
“Elizabeth is a awesome Dog lover she treats my dog as her own dog. My dog is so excited to see her when she comes by. I believe my dog knows the sound of her car coming down the road cause she is always waiting on her to come through the door. If you want a reliable sitter Beth is the one.”

Oak Ridge dog parents share their Rover experiences
Steve is absolutely amazing during our meeting right he asked lots of questions to make sure that my dog was comfortable and then meeting her. It was so amazing to see him get down on her level and let her just come to him. I love how he wanted to be informed with everything to make sure that while I was gone for the very first time ever in her almost 6 years of life that she didn’t have too much anxiety he spent lots of time with her, hugging her walking her letting her know that she’s not alone he sent lots of videos and pictures while he was with her to help ease my anxiety and comfort the love he has for animals just radiates off of him. He was a blessing. I will definitely continuously rebroke him or any upcoming future getaways.
