About: I experience with a wide variety of animals and personalities. I’ve cared for everything from dogs and cats to rodents, reptiles, birds, and even farm animals. I grew up surrounded by animals and even helped run a small petting zoo with goats, chickens, rabbits, and a tortoise when I was younger. I’ve also worked alongside veterinary offices and rescues, caring for cats and rabbits. For the past year, I’ve been dog sitting and walking regularly, and I’m comfortable with large breeds, puppies, high energy dogs, and senior pets who need a gentler approach. I’m very patient, pay close attention to behavior, and always follow care instructions carefully to keep pets safe and comfortable. Pet care is basically my daily routine, and I make it a priority to be reliable, flexible and consistent for every pet I care for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, and house rules. I’m very mindful of safety making sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure at all times. I also pay close attention to each pet’s behavior so I can quickly notice if something seems off. I respect your home and keep things clean and organized while you’re away. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: Animals are my passion. I’ve had dogs and cats all my life and currently have 3 dogs and two cats of my own. I have a senior dog that requires daily medications, with a specialty in hiding the pill 🤭. I also foster dogs for local rescues and shelters and will dog sit when other fosters are out of town. I truly can’t wait to spoil your fur baby. They give love with no conditions and deserve the same back ❤️. I have the flexibility to drop in as needed! I do have a young child and am usually not able to do overnight stays at this point, but will update as that becomes available in the future. Volunteering in the local shelter has given me some experience in making a dog that I meet for the first time more comfortable. I’m happy to do whatever your pet needs to feel at ease.

Hannah has been great since the first day she started! She loves the dogs and she gets them out for nice walks while I am unable to walk them. She shows up at the agreed upon time and is very reliable! Hannah is definitely a great dog walker.

About: I was a care taker of a dog for 12 years so I have plenty of experience taking care of dogs and taking dogs on walks. I also was a care taker of a cat for 5 years. I was in charge of giving the cat food, water, and doing the cat’s litter box. I have been pet sitting/ house sitting for almost two years and have done countless house sitting jobs. My work schedule right now is Monday, Thursday, and Friday 9 AM - 5:30 PM and Tuesdays and Wednesday 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM. I’m available on weekends too. I’m also willing to spend the night to make sure your pet gets the best care. I have a ton of experience with keeping dogs safe as I use to care for my dog for 12 years. I make sure they don’t eat anything that is unhealthy for me and I make sure they don’t get in any danger

About: Hello! Im Bev and taking care of animals has always been my purpose. Your pet's comfort is always my #1 priority ❤️. I've been a veterinary assistant for over 3 years and have a bachelor's in Animal Science. I have experience giving medications and recognizing illness & emergency! Young and old, I will love and care as if they are my own. ❤️🐾 At this time, I'm working to pay off my tuition. Veterinary nurse in progress 🩺🐾 As an aspiring veterinary nurse, my schedule is designed around animal care. My self-paced studies allow me the flexibility to prioritize your pet's needs while applying my clinical knowledge to their daily well-being. Between my veterinary nursing studies and managing my own 'zoo' at home—a 75lb puppy and two cats—I’ve mastered the art of a peaceful household! I’m an expert at juggling different personalities, whether that means supervised meal times or keeping everyone safely separated. I’ll treat your fur-babies with the same care and clinical eye I give my own.

About: Since I was a teen, I've always been the go-to person asked to pet sit for people when they went on vacation. I've done it for 10+ years. I recently graduated from law school in May, and I am currently studying for the BAR. I would love to make some money on the side, caring for your special guys and girls! Currently, I have full availability because my sole focus is studying for the BAR. So I can make myself available at any time day or night! I love animals, and I recognize how much they crave attention, especially when they're missing their owner. I would love to provide that necessary attention in your absence. I will make sure that your place is the same as it was when I got there. With a fresh litter box cleaning for cats.

About: Hi! My name is Rachel, and animals have always been one of the biggest passions in my life. For the past five years, I’ve been rescuing, rehabilitating, and fostering dogs, giving me extensive hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. I’m especially comfortable caring for medically complex pets and understand the importance of strict medication schedules, feeding times, and specialized diets. Whether your pet needs extra patience, routine, or medical attention, you can trust that I’ll treat them with the same level of care and dedication that I would my own. I also love taking dogs on walks, providing enrichment, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Professionally, I work in hospice and memory care, where compassion, patience, and reliability are essential every day. While my work schedule doesn’t allow me to rescue and foster as much as I used to, pet sitting gives me the opportunity to continue doing what I love caring for animals and giving pet owners peace of mind. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I would be honored to provide them with loving, dependable care while you’re away. I am currently working night shift 7pm-7am but have Tuesday's Thursday's Saturday's and every other Sunday off! I would love to be able to come by and hangout with your furry friend during the day when needed and discussions on boarding on weekends are always welcome! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine will always be my top priorities. I understand how important consistency is, so I’ll carefully follow your pet’s normal schedule, including feeding times, medication schedules, exercise, potty breaks, and any special instructions. With five years of experience rescuing, rehabilitating, and fostering dogs, I’m comfortable caring for pets with medical needs, behavioral challenges, and specialized diets. I provide a calm, loving environment where every pet is treated like family. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and receiving the best possible care while you’re away.

About: I've spent several years caring for animals through both my education and professional experience. I am currently studying veterinary medicine at UTCVM, where I gained hands-on experience handling dogs and cats, recognizing signs of illness, understanding animal behavior, and learning proper restraint techniques to keep pets safe and comfortable. I'm comfortable caring for pets of different ages, sizes, and temperaments, including energetic puppies and kittens, senior pets, and those with special medical needs. I have experience administering oral medications and can carefully follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any specific care instructions you provide. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to earn their trust and make them feel comfortable while you're away. Whether we're going for a walk, playing in the yard, or simply relaxing at home, my goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I'll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I am currently a student at UTCVM, so visits during the week would be before class and after class. On the weekends, I am open to almost everything that fits your pets schedule! When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both the home and the pet with the utmost respect. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any household rules you've established. I always ensure doors, gates, and leashes are secure before taking pets outside and never allow off-leash walks unless they're in a safely enclosed area and you've specifically requested it. I understand that every pet is different. Some love to play and be active, while others simply want companionship and a calm environment. I adjust my care to meet each pet's individual needs and pay close attention to any changes in their behavior, appetite, or overall well-being. Communication is also very important to me. I'll provide regular updates and photos throughout each visit or stay so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, comfortable, and receiving the care they deserve.

About: I started Danni’s Pet Service in 2014. We served a lot of military clients in Warner Robins, Ga and moved back to our home town in Clinton/Heiskell Tn in September of 2020. While super sad to let go of all my furry friends there we are so excited and blessed to be home and find new ones here in Tennessee. My goals are to meet you and your pets needs while traveling out of state or vacation or maybe play day for your pup while you work a long shift. Typically your furry friends prefer where they are most comfortable so I do my best to provide the same comforts to them as they would have at their own home. I have a 8yr old cat named Taz who stays in my room full time unless everyone has went home he will not be around your pups and two 2 yr old French Bulldogs named Nilla and FIFA. I too have a hard time leaving my own furry best friends and expect excellent care for them while I’m gone as well. We allow dogs of almost all sizes here in my home up to 70lbs. Requirements for my household are dog friendly/tolerant of all sizes and must be good with children ages 9/13/17 of course not scared of adults either. I don’t take jumpers as my fence is under 8 ft tall. try my best to work with everyone as I understand not all dogs get along. Must be up to date on shots 7 days prior to booking dates shot Records are required. Collar or harness must be worn at all times and must bring your own furry friends food. I’m excited to see your pup and make your vacation their vacation getaway at my home. Dog watching and sitting is my full time job other than being a mother to my three boys I do have the occasional errands like take the trash out and going to the grocery store or appointment for kids and school drop off and pick up. I do also offer dog walks and cat visits and short distance pick up and drop offs. Typically day we go out at 6 am eat breakfast digested breakfast for ruffly and hour and do a second potty break. We go outside every 1-2 hours pending who is here until about 8 pm. Dinner time is between 3-4 pm pending the season. They stay out in the living room together unless I need to leave them must be separate when no adult present. They play all day til bedtime. Nap/down time is between 12-1 or 2-3. We clean daily, my home is their home. Dogs do need to be crate trained for when I need to leave the home. Dogs under the age of 1 must be crate trained for accidents and chewing purposes. I don’t leave unattended for long together if not from the same household. Some dogs don’t get along but are friendly with the rest just like humans. Please tell me anything you know about your furry baby as that help me ensure their safety during there stay.

About: I've taken care of many different types of dogs for over eight years. I have raised three dogs from since they were a puppy and have gotten great experience training them as well. All three of them are high energy dogs, two of them large dogs. I am very comfortable with them and can definitly handle your pup! I have taken care of many friends and families dogs, as well as my neighbors. I also have experience taking care of cats. I've had two kitties for about 6 months now that I saved off the streets after that were thrown out. They followed me for so long I knew it was meant to be. I also have two friends that I'm the first person they call to take care of their cats when they are out of town. I love animals and am very patient with them. I love taking dogs on walks and I am great at following care and feeding directions. Your pup or kitten will be in the best care with me. I have one dog and two cats currently, and my family has two dogs that I see and help with regularly. My pup is almost 3 years and still very high-energy. I take him on walks and play with him every day as well as incorporate brain stimulation activities to make sure he is tuckered out and happy. Every time I visit my family I help with their dogs, including feeding, walking, and sometimes bathing them. I am very attentive to the animals around me. I make sure they are satisfied and happy at all times. If I notice they have a lot of energy I will take the time to either play with them, walk them, or provide an enrichment activity to stimulate them. I always monitor them when providing enrichment activities or when they are eating to ensure they don't choke on anything or hurt themselves depending on the activity. When on walks I avoid interactions with other dogs as well. You never know how another dog will react to yours, even if your pup is the nicest and most well-behaved dog ever. Your pup will always be safe with me.

About: Beverly here!!My entire life we have always had pets around. I have cared for dogs small and large. I have experienced with many animals from cats to goats. I love animals and have a hard time not referring to them as people.I have worked with puppies and also older dogs. I help care and walk my family and friends animals. I have experience with staying overnight and also just drop ins or day walking. I really care for the animals and love each personality they each have. I love to take an animal on car rides or a run on the road. If a pet is in need of bathing I have experience washing both large and small dogs. I am currently working full time. My schedule is Sunday to Wednesday 6-4:30. I am able to care for an animal before and after work and also on my days off. I know this schedule is ideal for all families but some are comfortable with it. I would be available to walk your pet as little or as much as they require. Whether it’s playing fetch or taking a walk exercise is needed for pets and I’m happy to help with that.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
