About: I have taken care of both cats and dogs since I was just born. I had one cat and one dog growing up both for 18 years and I currently have one cat that is 6 years old with a minor disability. My roommate has three cats. I have experience with behavior training, feedings, vet, appointment, walks, potty training, and recognizing emergencies that need immediate attention. I make my cats wellbeing a priority. They get a morning and an evening walk as well as the ability to go in and out as they please. They get wet food at the same time every day in the evening and dry food available to them always. They also get treats for behavior training and to better their tricks. About: My wife Erica and I have owned and taken care of pets for over 25 years. Family members, friends and neighbors have relied on us to board, feed and walk their pets during this time. We are are lifetime pet lovers and we love them all like they are our own. Either myself or my wife will be in the home 24/7 so we are able to provide all necessary care (walking, feeding, exercising and bathroom breaks as needed). I have a fully fenced front and back yard with plenty of space for your dogs to roam. I can easily crate your pet as needed. Either myself of my wife will be at the house at all times. I am home night and weekends and she is home days. Someone will be at home 24/7 to meet your pets needs/ Dogs are fed and walked as needed and provided a bathroom break every 2 hours. I also have a fully fenced front and back yard as well as a park down the street for outdoor play.

My home is cozy and dog-friendly, with two large pups of my own and a spacious, fenced backyard they can enjoy through a dog door while I’m home. When I’m away, all dogs stay safely inside. To keep things comfortable, I host no more than four dogs at a time (including my own). If you have more than two dogs from the same household, I may be able to make an exception depending on their size and needs. Your pup is welcome to lounge on the furniture and will receive plenty of love, attention, and playtime from me and my two dogs and will have free roam in the house. We have a communal toy bin and a spacious, fenced backyard accessible via a dog door when I’m home. When I leave, the dogs are secured inside the house. Until your pup is ready to free roam unsupervised with my dogs, they’ll have a safe, separate hallway complete with a comfy dog bed, toys, and water, so they can still see and enjoy the company of the others for the times I am not home . If your fur baby prefers a crate while I’m away, I can do that only if they genuinely enjoy their crate and look forward to settling in. If your dog enjoys walks, I’m happy to take them for a drive to a nearby park or a friendly neighborhood walk. I care about a harmonious environment, so I can only host dogs that get along well with others. Toys are aplenty and my pup and I are always happy to play or just be good company in mellow moments. My dog is not crated at any time, but I'm happy to crate yours if needed.

Stephen was a great dogsitter! His dogs are larger and more high-energy, which makes Chancho really anxious. At his suggestion, we did a backyard slow meeting between the dogs, one at a time, and Stephen picked up on Chancho's attitude and needs immediately. Chancho was definitely overwhelmed, but Stephen picked up on his body language, walked us through a couple strategies he had to keep the dogs safe and happy, and assured us that he'd be in touch if need be. Any concerns I had about leaving him with a new sitter were alleviated by the time we headed out and I knew Chancho was in good hands! Stephen was very responsive, sent photos when we checked in, and made pick-up easy as well. We'd definitely recommend Stephen and look forward to seeing him the next time we book.
