“Lisa is super communicative. I felt comfortable with her in my home and to watch my doggy. He's a super shy husky and she had the patience to work with him. Hope to have Lisa again next time :)”

“Patricia pet/house sat for us for a week and she is the best pet sitter I’ve ever had, hands down. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. Our cats are sensitive and have a special diet, and usually when we get home from a trip, one of our cats is upset for several weeks. We are usually very worried about things while we’re away, but this time, we were finally able to relax with Patricia there. We came home to extremely happy, relaxed cats and a house that was even cleaner than we left it! She messaged us daily about our cats, and I could tell she learned so much about their individual personalities and preferences. She clearly spent a lot of time playing/hanging out with them - she has a real gift with animals, one of our cats is a bit chubby and doesn’t usually like to move, and she sent us videos of him playing and running! She takes AMAZING photos, so you know that your pets aren’t just alive, they’re actually having a good time. I really love my pets, and I feel like Patricia took just as good care of them as I could, which I didn’t think could happen. Logistically, everything was a dream. She is easy to schedule things with, and she is very communicative. I really liked that I always knew when she was at our place and she let me know the exact times she would be arriving/leaving/available. She figured things out on her own and is very capable, but she still let me know if she had any questions. I felt safe with her in the house, she was very respectful of our space and offered to clean up, and even brought her own food. Patricia really went above and beyond for us, and I’m sure she would do just as amazing a job with anyone else’s pets and home.”

“Janessa & John were amazing and I had no concerns about leaving my Littles (2) in their good hands. I would definitely recommend their services and will have them back again.”

“We usually do drop ins for our kitties but did house sit this time and it worked out amazing! Jazmine is responsible, dependable, and communicative. We get a pretty detailed recap of the day and lots of videos and pictures. Of course the kitties loved it and housesit worked a lot better for my cat that picks at his food throughout the day. We didn’t have to worry at all. Ty Jazmine you are the best!!”

About: There's something about caring for dogs and cats that brings my heart alive. There's nothing I'd rather do than care lovingly attentively for these animals. I am a retired English teacher, and my time is unlimited. I prefer long term, overnight sitting in your home. I am fit and love walking and playing with your loved one. I treat them as if they were my own. Having been raised caring for my families dogs, cats, horses, cows, ducks, fish, and even peacocks, I am most comfortable with animals. I follow instructions, administer medicine when necessary, and leave your home in perfect condition as you left it. Some folks say I'm too old to do this...I know I'm not. I can walk 2 miles easily with dogs. I have described my affection for dogs and cats which I hope reflects the care I will provide, and I would be so pleased to serve you. “Erika was great with our dogs and very knowledgeable , we where able to trust her with our home and animals while we were on vacation. I highly recommend her and will use her again for sure.”

“Chloe is an excellent house/dog sitter. My 13yr old cocker spaniel, Roscoe, was spoiled by Chloe: he's a picky eater but she got him to eat all his food, she played with him, & walked him around the neighborhood. Roscoe was in heaven! My house was well maintained. Chloe is intelligent & totally responsible & trustworthy. Next time I'm on vacation, I'm calling Chloe again!!”

“We appreciated Brandy’s thoughtful and responsible care for our three babes!! It was clear that they each felt loved, while we were away, and Brandy updated us with any questions or happenings as necessary. I currently work as a veterinary assistant at a small practice in Woodland, Ca I am currently working full time Tuesday-Friday 8am-5:30pm as a veterinary assistant, and Saturdays 8am to noon, so when I’m not at work, I love to spend my time giving your pet(s) the attention and structure that they deserve! “We are very grateful to Cedric for taking care of our little dog when we needed help the most. It was a last-minute emergency, and they were incredibly helpful and understanding. Excellent care and great availability. We truly appreciate it and highly recommend them.”

About: I’ve always loved animals when I was young, i grew up taking care of my friends pets and farm animals but now I am also working at Animal Den Pet Resort and have some professional experience in giving care to dogs and cats. I’m open to adjusting the prices. I’m pretty much free all day for a while. I’m also a runner so I can take them on some good runs! The only times that are busy are Sunday’s and Tuesday and Wednesday evenings I actually cannot have any dogs in my home so my care would mostly be dog waking and house sitting. I believe I may have made a mistake in my settings for this option
Norwood I-80 pet parents share their Rover experiences
We are so appreciative Ryan could last minute accommodate our request. We were desperate to find someone a week out from our trip as our normal dog sitter cancelled on us, and he was able to spend the weekend at our house. Our animals were well taken care of and he left our house in great shape! He even washed the bedding and took out the trash which was so nice. I definitely would rebook. Thanks again!!

I've worked with several other wonderful house sitters on Rover, but Tricia is exceptional in her professionalism, experience, communication, positivity, and problem solving capabilities. My dear pitbull rescue is a shy boy and typically it takes a few days to feel safe with a new sitter. Tricia had good sense for how to earn his trust and provide care that brought out the best in him. During our work with Tricia, we received detailed updates and photos about Momo's day which was a peace of mind for us on our trip. She promptly communicated with any questions or issues that came up, but Tricia demonstrated good judgement in her decision-making process and was able to accurately support Momo and his needs. Couldn't recommend Tricia enough; she is our first choice for future house sitting and pet care in the future.

Sierra & Karinni were great pet sitters. They took great care of our dog, walked him and sent lots of pictures the 12 days we were gone. I came home to a freshly made bed after a long flight which was so nice. The house was clean when we came home. They were great communicators which makes a huge difference to me. I would totally recommend them as pet sitters.
