I wholeheartedly understand the anxiety and stress that can come with leaving your pet in someone else's care, I have those same feelings when it comes to my own pets. Because of that, I will treat your pet as if they were my own, providing them with the same love, attention, and care that I would expect for my animals. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness, along with your peace of mind, are always my top priorities. While I am caring for your pet, I will be readily available by text or phone and happy to provide updates, photos, and videos to help you feel connected and reassured while you're away. 🐾

A typical day
Pets staying with me will enjoy a fun, safe, and comfortable day. We'll start with potty breaks and a walk or outdoor playtime, followed by meals according to their routine. Throughout the day, I'll provide plenty of attention, play sessions, enrichment activities, and cuddle time. Depending on each pet's energy level and personality, we may enjoy fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys, neighborhood walks, or relaxing indoors. I'll make sure every pet gets exercise, mental stimulation, and lots of love while maintaining their normal schedule as closely as possible.

Pet care experience
What sets me apart is my experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I fostered puppies and adult dogs for four years, which gave me hands-on experience caring for dogs with different personalities, needs, and backgrounds. I also grew up with working dogs, so I am very comfortable handling high-energy breeds and understand the exercise, structure, and attention they require. Whether it's a playful puppy, an active working dog, or a senior pet needing extra patience and care, I adapt to each animal's individual needs. I am confident handling dogs on walks and prioritize safety, consistency, and positive interactions. I am comfortable working with reactive dogs as well :)

I highly recommend Kerri as a pet sitter. She has watched my dog multiple times when I’ve traveled back home to Ohio to visit family, and she’s always been wonderful. So lucky to have found Kerri! Caring and conscientious! From medications and special diets to playtime and cuddletime, she manages it and keeps the routine running smoothly while we travel. Our fur babies (several finicky cats, two large dogs and one small long dog, turtles and fish) all love her and feel immediately at ease around her. So do we! Travel is more enjoyable and I am able to relax knowing our family is in good hands.
Kerri cared for my 4 cats, one of which has disabilities and requires more care than normal, and exceeded all of my expectations for a pet sitter. She spent so much time caring for and playing with my kitties and also helped keep my house safe while I was out of town. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and reliable pet sitter.
