Since I work at a school, my summer vacation allows me to have a very flexible schedule. I am available for overnight stay and house sitting. Your specific needs are important to me, I'm happy to accommodate for my clients. My schedule allows me to drop-in on your pets during the day and I will send you a text before I stop by.

I will check any gate or fence before letting your dog out into the yard. Before leaving, I typically do a walk through of the area to check for food that has been left out on the counter. For homes with cats, I make sure I see they’re all present and not trapped in a closet or in a room with a closed door. I secure all doors, gates, windows, and crates as needed. I like to leave the place in the same condition (or better) than how I found it. I also refresh or top off their water bowls before I leave.

What tendencies do your pets have? What special routine do they require at feeding time or potty time? What special/ specific commands or behaviors would you like your dog to practice with me? Do they have separation anxiety and do I need to keep an eye on them so that they don't get into things they're not supposed to? Do they have a favorite toy or bed? Do they have prescribed medicine?
A typical day
When house sitting, I will maintain the established routine that you have with your pet(s) and spend time with them - we can throw a ball around or be couch potatoes together. I typically bring my own things like food to eat and things to entertain myself like books and my laptop/ iPad. I'm happy to water your plants or garden as well as keep an eye out for your packaged deliveries while you're away. Free refills of snuggling and affection is included. It's all about your pet even if all they need is someone to keep them company while you're not home, call me!

When I'm not dog sitting, I am a Speech Therapy Assistant at a local school district. Caring for animals my whole life has been a foundation for me to develop responsibility, patience, compassion, skilled observation, and proficient communication. My family and I have loved all kinds of dogs and pets over the years including birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and turtles. I've loved 2 boxers of my own and now only have 2 cats. Our pets truly are like family members; so they need quality care and affection! I hope to build trust and respectful relationships with the people and pets that come into my life. Patricia was great! She was very responsive when I would reach out. She house sat for us for 3 nights. We have a German Shepherd and an outdoor only cat. Both pets were very well cared for with updates. Patricia sent cute photos showing what they were doing. Our dog got to go swimming in our pool and play! It was great to just be able to enjoy our vacation and not worry about our home or pets. We will definitely ask her to house sit again.
I've worked with several other wonderful house sitters on Rover, but Tricia is exceptional in her professionalism, experience, communication, positivity, and problem solving capabilities. My dear pitbull rescue is a shy boy and typically it takes a few days to feel safe with a new sitter. Tricia had good sense for how to earn his trust and provide care that brought out the best in him. During our work with Tricia, we received detailed updates and photos about Momo's day which was a peace of mind for us on our trip. She promptly communicated with any questions or issues that came up, but Tricia demonstrated good judgement in her decision-making process and was able to accurately support Momo and his needs. Couldn't recommend Tricia enough; she is our first choice for future house sitting and pet care in the future.
We’ve had Trish house/pet sit for us a few times now and she is the best. We have a dog with heart disease and he needs various meds throughout the day, and Trish makes sure to he gets his doses on time. She’s also communicative and we know the dogs are in good hands when she is here for us!
Trish was great and the dogs seemed to have enjoyed her company. She stayed in touch with me through the weekend, which was reassuring given that we have a special needs dog that requires heart meds throughout the day. We appreciated her attentiveness and communication.
