“I found Marcie on Rover and she responded quickly on such short notice. I contacted her on a Friday and she was able to accommodate our pit bull Jada the next day. Marcie was courteous enough to provide photos of Jada while at the dog park. Jada looked like she enjoyed her time with Marcie. We look forward to using Marcie again in the future.”

“I cannot say enough amazing things about Deborah. My puppy HATES leaving her house and always comes home and falls right asleep, which is a sign that she has had the time of her life. Deborah is quick to respond, super flexible, takes lots of pictures/videos, and is extremely reliable. She’s become my puppy’s regular sitter. You won’t go wrong with having her watch your fur baby!”

“Brandee provided fantastic care for our beagle. She is a good communicator and is super easy going. She sent photos of her daughter snuggling our dog, which sealed the deal. We’ll be back!”

About: * Right now I can only accept dogs that are excellent with cats, doesn’t chase or show much interest in them. I have a senior cat that can’t protect herself by running away. Thanks! I am very respectful, quiet, and patient. Traits that dogs and cats seem to love! I have a huge soft spot for seniors. I love their energy and have a lot of respect for them. I am also a self proclaimed “Crazy Cat Lady”. I absolutely love cats and I have a very deep respect and connection with them. I love being around animals. I will get depressed if I don't fulfill my daily life with them. I have 5 years experience working at a veterinary hospital when I was in my 20's. I gained lots of knowledge and experience with pet medical care while I worked there. I assisted with surgeries, gave vaccinations, nail trims, and administered oral and injectable medications. I specialize in seniors. I have a deep love and respect for seniors. I love to massage, sing to and spend quality time with cats and dogs of all ages. I currently have a blind dog, and he has made me somewhat of an expert with blind or disabled pets. I learned to be hyper aware and sensitive to their needs on a whole different level. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up I had not only a dog and cat, but also rats, birds, hamsters, ferrets, fish finatic, turtles, snakes and rabbits! I loved each and every one of them. I am home full time and your pet will be by my side all the time, or close to me as much as they want (or don’t want!) I have a secured fenced in yard with extra protection for jumpers or diggers. I have a doggy door if they like it, if not I can let them out every hour or as much is needed.
“This was our 2nd daycare visit and my pup ran back into the house when i came to get her. She had soooo much fun playing with Chris' dog. He even took her on a literal field trip. Lol. Ember is pooped and cannot wait to go back!”

“I was pleased with how Anna and her pup, Bella welcomed Chloe, my shy, standoffish FMD into her home. She took the time to be sure she was comfortable with her surrounding. I was worried that she might not be able to put the leash on her but there was not a problem. This was a trial for her upcoming 3 night stay and I'm happy to say it all when well. Thank you for being patient with her.”

About: I approach each dog as individuals to understand their personalities. As a pet parent, I’ve owned five dogs, three of which unfortunately have moved on to the rainbow bridge. I currently have a 5 year old Aussie and a 3 year old border collie mix, both a calm and friendly to dogs, cats, and people. I work a regular job from 8am - 4:30pm M-F, with remote work from W-F. My availability are any remote days and weekends. I can watch your dogs at home during those days or check in on them after work hours and anytime in the weekends. I spoil my dogs and cats. I make sure to play with them daily and take them for walks. Having an Aussie and border collie demands it! Both our dogs know when it’s bed time and sleep in our bedroom. Luna the border collie sleeps in our bed, the best snuggle bug ever.
“Bari was phenomenal and really exceeded our expectations. She gave us updates throughout the day and took a ton of great pictures. Her little dog Coco is the cutest, and by the end of the day was best friends with our lil pup.”

Kevin is great. My dog Gracie always has a wagging tail and is happy to be going to spend the day with him. He takes her on a nice long walk and she comes home happy and tired. He takes photos of her throughout the day which is always appreciated. He’s very flexible on timing. Definitely will book Kevin again!

Anna is exactly who you want looking after your pet. Maple, our dog, wags her tail so much and almost jumps out of the car to run to the door when we pull up to Anna’s house for daycare! If Maple could write this review, she’d tell you about nice walks, great front/back yard for sunbathing, and the 1:1 cuddle time. As Maple’s human, I’m very appreciate of Anna’s flexibility, communication, and great photos from daycare. Thanks Anna!

Katherine was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Vigo. She is clearly very experienced and comfortable with all different kinds of dogs, which immediately put us at ease. We felt completely confident leaving Vigo with her for two consecutive days while we visited Sacramento. Katherine has an excellent system for thoughtfully and safely socializing dogs, and it was clear that Vigo felt comfortable with her and engaged right away. Our dog has A LOT of energy and loves to run and play, and he was genuinely happy and very content when we picked him up both days. We couldn’t have been happier with the care Vigo received. I highly recommend Katherine to anyone with dogs of any breed or temperament. We wish she lived closer to us for regular stays but will absolutely go back to her any time we’re in the area.

Patty was amazing and so flexible! We're from out of town and wanted to float the American River and couldn't bring Pretzel with us, so we decided to book Rover for him. She sent us pictures and was very communicative which we really appreciated! We'll definitely be booking with Patty again if we are in town :)

Marlene (and her pup, Paquita!) gave us such peace of mind while we were busy. They gave Chancho somewhere where he could both relax and have fun with another dog with his same energy level. They have a beautiful backyard that I'm sure he enjoyed very much! We'd highly recommend Marlene and will definitely be reaching out to her in the future. :)
