“I had no worries with Shanna, every interaction showed her care for my pet was her first concern. Great communication and pictures while I was away, I truly could not have asked for more.”

“Kathy was great with our 2 dogs. Our dogs were happy and well taken care of. She kept them on their schedules and she sent pictures and updates to us, so we could stay informed. Any time I requested an update Kathy was very prompt. We picked up the same happy and healthy dogs we dropped off. We highly recommend her!!”

“Norma took excellent care of our sweet 13 year old lady. She sent lots of updates and pictures throughout her stay and was quick to respond to any comments/questions I had. Her house and backyard are very dog friendly. Highly recommend her!”

“Wynde was an absolute joy to work with. She welcomed our anxious girl with open arms and made her feel so comfortable. Wynde sent pictures daily and updated us on things Rosie did with them. I would absolutely book with her again!”

About: I have always watched all my families fur babies. They have been well loved just as my own. I’m always watching training videos on dog behavior as to be ready at all times and recognizing when to step in. I’m a stay at home mom so I’m always home majority of my days unless I’m running errands. So they are in my care at all times. I love to send videos and pictures to keep everyone updated. So I’m hoping to love on your fur-babies soon. I’m a stay at home mom. So I’m home almost all of my days unless I’m out running an errand or out with my sister doing an activity with my kids. But most of my days consist of being at home. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I have a really big back yard and open front yard and woods. We are back in the corner of the woods. I also have 2 big dogs that will help guide your dog on how to do things. I also have a crate if need be for a large breed dog if that’s something they are use too. I’m more than welcome to walk your dogs on a leash if you felt more comfortable
“Ashley was a perfect fit for our dog, Ollie. She was great with him and kept us updated with messages and pictures of how he was doing. We will definitely ask Ashley first if we need somewhere for Ollie tp stay.”

“If I could provide more than 5 stars I would. Brittany did an outstanding job watching over Maxxwell. She was communicative and a quick responder, no matter the time. Brittany and her family made Maxxwell feel love and at home. She did such an amazing job my family and I are booking her again this weekend while we’re away at the beach. This was our first time ever using Rover, but I think we found our forever sitter already 😊😊😊”

“Mary and William were AMAZING with our kitten! They sent pictures and kept in contact. They were very welcoming and took very good care of our baby. We will definitely use them again!”

“We were very anxious about leaving our dog for the first time since we got him 6 months ago. Kelly took good care of him and sent us pictures and updates. He came back home happy and adjusted right away. We will definitely use Kelly again!”

About: I have loved animals my entire life, always love meeting and caring for new animals and I take pride in making the animals around me feel loved, safe, and cared for while their owners are away I currently am working roughly 3 hours daily for 3 days a week and would love taking in animals on a day to day basis I live near a road that doesn’t typically have traffic (major side road in the country), but even still I always make sure to take dogs out on leashes to ensure their safety. I do have cats but they can be put away to ensure your animal doesn’t feel threatened or scared. I have a safe space with plenty of quiet for your animal to be crated if they are feeling stressed or just need some alone time
“We had such ease leaving our baby girl, Birdie, with Philip and Mallory. They sent daily pics and Birdie was a very happy girl with them. They also were very easy and flexible with pickup even helping us pick Birdie up at home as we had an early flight. Definitely recommend!”

“Brittany took wonderful care of our dog, Lola. She sent pictures and videos everyday and had plenty of love and care. Lola has become best friends with her poodle too! She had a blast running around in the yard and meeting new friends, like goats and horses. I would definitely recommend Brittany, your fur babies will be in good hands!”

“Our dog had another great stay with Bradley and Stephanlee! He came home happy and well taken care of! I really appreciate their flexibility and communication. I enjoy the multiple photos sent each day and a short note of how he is doing. A++ sitters!”

“This was our first time leaving our kitty behind while going out of town and Tyeriah assured us that she would make our kitten feel comfortable and at home. And she did just that! I have never seen him warm up to new people as quickly as he did with her. At first, we were nervous but we were instantly reassured as she adjusted to our kitten’s needs and provided pictures and updates often. We were speechless when we saw how comfortable he had gotten after leaving him in her hands. We are beyond satisfied. Sometimes it is hard finding someone you can trust to take care of your pets and we hit the jackpot with Tyeriah. 10/10. Would definitely recommend!”

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
