“Annie was super awesome with our 17 yr old Feist. She sent pictures and updates to keep us informed. She worked with us because of our flight issues and was very accommodating. Definitely using her again and recommend her to our friends.”

“Albina and her family were wonderful with our two dogs. She was able to accommodate us fairly last minute and sent so many updates and photos which was really appreciated! Would highly recommend”

“Anna was amazing with our dog! This was our first time leaving Dottie with someone else, and we couldn’t be more thankful to have found her. Anna helped Dottie feel more comfortable around other people and animals. She kept us updated regularly, letting us know how Dottie was doing. We’re so grateful for her care and attention.”

“An amazing experience. My dog was cared for and had such a good time. Received lots of pics and videos of my pooch on his doggy vacation and he was clean and happy when we came to pick him up. Thank you so much!!”

“Wynde is absolutely amazing! Our 14-year-old pup was in the best hands during her care. She was attentive, caring, and kept us completely at ease with daily updates and adorable pictures. It was clear our dog was happy and well-cared for, which meant the world to us. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter and will definitely be reaching out to Wynde again in the future!”
“Sheila took such great care of Penny! We loved the photos and videos she sent us. It was easy to see how happy and comfortable Penny felt with her. Penny was exhausted when we brought her home. Definitely recommend her!”

“Our pup is dealing with some medical issues and Daniel was more than willing to help so we could enjoy some time away, and we appreciate that more than we can say! We know our dog is safe and well cared for with Uncle Dan!”
“Heaven sent!! Christal (and her sweet kiddos) were a true blessing. My dog landed in the perfect home while we were vacationing. The communication was prompt, from the moment I requested her services (at 4AM), Christal answered and took in my puppy that same afternoon. He was well cared for, seemed happy with his daily walks and play time. I appreciate the photos I would receive throughout the day. I recommend Christal and will definitely reach out to her when I need a pet sitter. Christal: Thank you SO MUCH! Max sends his love to you and your family!”

“Dana cared for my dog like she was her own while I was away, which meant everything to me. I truly appreciated the level of attention and love she provided - it gave me complete peace of mind knowing my dog was in such good hands. She kept me updated with plenty of photos and messages, and it was so reassuring to see my dog happily playing ball in the backyard and curled up on the couch.”

“Carolina did a wonderful job of taking care of Seamus. I got lots of updates and pictures throughout the week. It’s great that she has a dog that my dog could play with and run around with. Will definitely book again!”

“We were in a pinch for a dog sitter and were so lucky to have found Kayla and her family. Our 10 month old lab is a hand full and they were wonderful with him. We had pictures and updates every day and didn't worry about him for a moment. We feel like Riley now has a second family to go to instead of boarding. We are truly grateful!”

“Cara had a wonderful time with Haley and her family. Haley kept me updated with photos and messages and was very flexible with drop off and pickup. We will definitely call on her again”

“Amy & Ross continue to be excellent caregivers for our pups! Communicative and willing to go the extra mile (and that includes literally in the form of hikes), you can rest assured they will keep your pups happy and healthy”

“This was our first experience with Rover. Our dog just turned one and we had boarded her at a commercial facility and a home atmosphere appealed to us as an alternative so we tried it out. Alyssa and Spencer are fantastic. We met with them beforehand just to ease our concerns and the weekend went so well that we rebooked for two more trips this summer. We highly recommend them!”

About: I have been around animals my entire life and grew up caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, and even reptiles. Over the past five years, my family has had a full house of pets, including one dog, two cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, and a chameleon, so I’m very comfortable with a variety of animals and their unique needs. In 2021, I completed training to have my golden retriever certified as a therapy dog. After becoming licensed, she worked alongside me in public schools, where she provided comfort and support to students. That experience strengthened my skills in handling, training, and understanding animals while ensuring they feel safe, calm, and well cared for. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I work from home, which allows me to give animals plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins to make sure pets are comfortable and well cared for. Since I’m home most of the time, pets are rarely left alone and can enjoy a calm, consistent environment. Caring for animals is already part of my daily life with our own pets, so adding additional pet care feels like a natural extension of our routine. My home is very pet-friendly and used to having animals around. I have a family of five with three kids ages 11–16 who all love animals and are respectful of their personalities and space. Since I already have pets in our home, I understand the importance of maintaining routines, providing regular feeding times, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on making them feel safe and comfortable, just like part of the family. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions the owner provides. My goal is always to make sure pets feel relaxed, well cared for, and loved while their owners are away.
“Tina was absolutely fabulous with our sweet Duchess! When we picked Duchess up it was like Duchess had spent the weekend with a lifelong friend as they connected so quickly. Tina’s communication, friendliness, and professionalism makes her an excellent choice for caring for your fur babies while you’re out of town.”

As of June 2026, there are 660 sitters on Rover offering Dog Boarding across Peachland. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Every sitter on Rover has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.
94% of Peachland sitters also include daily walks in the neighborhood during dog boarding stays. You can also request photo and message updates throughout the stay so you can see which Peachland landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.
If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Peachland home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Peachland.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Peachland sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
