About: I grew up on a farm, so I took care of cats, dogs, and various other farm type animals like horses and cows quite frequently. I also have a cat and two dogs back home that I take care of whenever I go back home. I’m currently waiting to hear back from multiple full time jobs, however this can take a while so at the moment I am usually free 24/7 for any pets who need taken care of! If I was to take a dog to my home, I have plenty of space for them to roam around inside as well as plenty of places outdoors to walk, or even go to the dog park if they enjoy going there. My apartment is perfect for a cat as well because there are plenty of windows for sunbathing and comfortable places to take naps, and for more active cats there is plenty of indoor space to play.
About: Anyone who knows me can tell you that my biggest goal in life is to pet every cat I can. Between my family and friends' cats to my own two kitties, Quentin & Baby, I've taken care of cats for around 13 years. I'm great at giving cats play and engagement or accommodating their solitary needs with respect and empathy. I also have experience dealing with a range of pet health issues and accidents. This includes fleas (baths and continued treatment), ear mites, skin allergies (dermatitis and other sensitivities), pancreatitis (administering at-home treatments post surgery), and providing end of life care (cancer, palliative care). I'm very used to administering medications, both orally and topically. Whether your cat is experiencing ongoing health issues or is just in need of a little extra love and company, I can assure you that they will be in great hands! I currently work a 7:30-4:30pm Monday through Friday, but I am available for assistance from 5:30-7:00am, 1:00-2:00pm, and any time after 5:00pm throughout the week. Weekends are typically fully open! I'm experienced with minimal at home grooming (furminator, nail trimming, paw washing). I'm able to clean out litter boxes and manage any vomiting or accidents made around the home. I'm also experienced with administering both topical and oral medications in the event that your pet is experiencing ongoing health issues or is recovering from an accident.

“My cat Nori is always in great hands with Meghana. She's attentive to his needs and notices details such as when my water fountain started making noises or when Nori starts sneezing and how many times he does it. Nori gets along well with Meghana and is so well taken cared of that I no longer get anxious when I have to go on a trip because I know exactly who I want to book! I highly recommend Meghana for your pet sitting needs!”

“Danielle was amazing and so kind to our little 10week old pup. She played with him, followed the same cue words we have been trying to train him with and also made sure there was enough water for him before she left. A”

“Tracy is very professional, very helpful! We had a meet and greet beforehand, which was really necessary in terms of communication of what’s our need. She makes our boys so happy when we need the visit service, and also fulfill all our needs. Will definitely continue to use the service in the future! Highly recommended!”

“Super responsive, follows all instructions, does meet and greets, addresses any concerns and tailors care to dog’s needs. Super flexible as well. Thank you for taking care of Doug!”

“I was really to have Ashley as the pet sitter for my cat, Neo. She was very professional while also being warm and caring. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Neo was well looked after and comfortable with her. I would happily recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind pet sitter!”

“She came to feed the animals so she can get used to feeding them the week we are gone. I had typed her out how to feed them and she did very good, and since it’s the same with them she will get very used to feeding them. Feel relaxed knowing my babies will be taken care of.”

“Mariya was a real life saver and did an amazing job looking after my cat over a holiday weekend!! I had left some pretty specific instructions and she was very nice and communicative if she had any questions or concerns. It was a huge relief to have her checking in on him.”

“We had a great first time Rover experience with Ashley! She was great with communication and gave me updates as well as including lots of pictures with every report card. We could tell from photos that she was very attentive to our cats wants and needs. They loved her. Our little shy cat even came out from hiding to see her every visit! We cannot wait to book again with Ashley for all of our future pet sitting needs!”

“Kyra did a great job caring for my cat, Dora. She followed all my instructions and did a meet and greet before the first visit. I could tell that Dora liked her immediately! And I loved the photos she took of her visit!”

“Yasmin is fabulous! She took time to meet our pup prior to starting weekly drop ins so he felt comfortable. She asked such thoughtful questions to ensure she knew about his care and what he would need. During the visits with our pup, she has been so detailed and loving with our boy. It’s clear that she really enjoys what she does. Could not ask for a better pal for our pup! Thank you, Yasmin!!”

About: I’ve been around at least 2 to 3 dogs my entire life both big and small! I absolutely love all of the furry friends and believe each animal deserves their dedicated time and attention! I have my dog Timber, she is a rescue and was quite reactive when I first got her, so I have lots of experience with calming anxious pups and taking things at their pace!! I will always ensure to take each animal’s temperament and routine into account while caring for them. I believe our pets are our children and I will treat yours like my own! I have cared for friends and family’s dogs and cats both in drop in style and dog sitting over night. I am comfortable giving oral and subcutaneous medication injections to animals (I had to do this for one of my old pups and my family’s horse). I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends! I am a registered nurse and work 3 days a week on day shift, so I will have 4 days off a week to help with walks or drop ins. Depending on how far you are from work I could consider a drop in after my shift ends around 7:30pm. My schedule on days off are extremely flexible, so I can adjust my time to fit your animal’s needs! I believe that our pets are our children and I will always treat your pet as my own! In your home, I will be respectful of your space and make sure to leave the space exactly the way I found it! I know how important routines are to animals so I like to get to know each pet and stick to their routine as strictly as possible to ensure they feel as comfortable as they can with me around!
“I can’t say enough good things about Ericka! She is among the most caring, educated, and thorough sitters I know. Her ability to understand pet body language is remarkable — she notices even the most minor details and knows precisely what a pet needs to feel safe and happy. Ericka is incredibly consistent and reliable, and I’ve never once had to worry when she’s looking after my dog. She treats every animal as if they were her own, and her calm, attentive nature has made her the only person I fully trust to care for my pup. If you’re looking for someone knowledgeable and compassionate, I can promise you that Ericka is the best.”

About: I have grown up taking care of dogs all of my life. I was in charge of feeding, playing and bathing the dogs at home. When my neighbors had puppies when I was about 12, they trusted me to take care of them when they were at work after showing me how to feed them and clean them up. I love any and all kinds of dogs and enjoy helping you and your pup! I have a full time job, but I am incredibly flexible on my days off. I am usually able to fit 1-2 walks on the weekends if people are busy and don’t want to leave their dogs for long hours. I have a fenced backyard, with another super friendly pup that can keep your dog company. If they need to stay in a crate, I do have one that is available to use.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Northwest
Birdie was amazing. Needed her for a last-minute booking for our 2 cats. Both of them warmed up to her immediately (which is RARE) and she made us feel very comfortable leaving them in her care. Communication and pictures were great the whole time. 10/10 will book again!

Lauren was amazing! She took care of our two dogs for the week while we were out of state. She gave thorough updates and kept us in the loop with any concerns, etc (dogs paw irritated) to see how she could help. We will rebook her every time we need a Rover!

Ashley provided the best experience for not only our pets, but for us as owners. She is professional, kind and helpful in all the best ways. We really appreciated being able to feel relaxed while away from our pets because Ashley earned our trust very quickly. Can’t wait to book again!

Erica was so great with our kitties while we were away. She had come over to meet them and go over care instructions before we left, so we felt comfortable knowing they were going to be well taken care of. She sent daily pictures and updates, which helped keep us in the loop on how they were doing. One of our kitties had a birthday while we were away and Erica went above and beyond to celebrate her, which meant the world as a pet parent! We will definitely be asking for her help again next time we need help caring for our cats.
