“Caroline was super accommodating with our young puppy's (and our) needs. She was up for us walking along with her, so our puppy could get feel more comfortable around her for the first meeting. Definitely will be requesting Caroline again for help with our puppy!”

“Dan took excellent care of our dog, walking him daily when I could not walk him due to my surgery and during our vacation. Dan is observant to any changes in our dog’s behavior and mood and is thorough in communicating that information following the walks. We are very fortunate to have Dan’s reliable services!”

“I highly recommend David as a dog walker! He’s always punctual, quick to respond, and incredibly flexible, making the entire process smooth from the get-go. David treats my home with respect and shows genuine affection for Memphis. He takes him on long walks that leave my pup happily worn out, which I truly appreciate. I also do love the regular photos he sends, and they reassure me of their time together. Overall, it’s been a fantastic experience so far with no issues whatsoever. David would be a wonderful addition to your dog’s routine!”

“Ronnie did a great job walking my Minnie girl for me! I appreciated him coming so last minute- glad to have a good person to help keep Minnie entertained ☺️ thank you!!”

“Andrew was on time and totally respectful. He was very calm with our hyper puppy and did a great job of letting the pup come/warm up to him. We had a few requests (sitting at sidewalks and heeling by people) that make walking the pup a little more work. Andrew was more than happy to work with all of our requests. Definitely recommend!”

“I felt very comfortable leaving my precious boy with Lauren. Lauren was super easy to communicate with and she checked in with me after her walk with my dog. I would recommend Lauren when you need someone to watch you furbabies.”

About: I've walked and exercised dogs. Fed them. Snuggled them. I have a pretty laid-back personality, so I hardly stress out even when a dog is barking at me. I understand they need to get use to a person first sometimes. I work a super laid-back job from home so I have plenty of time to spend with any pets throughout the day, whether they be dogs who need walking or cats who need snuggling. I follow the routines outlined by my clients, and use my intuition to know what the pet is needed or feeling in the moment. It probably sounds corny, but it's the best way I know how to describe it. An attentive person can tell when they're upset or when they're at peace.

“Lavinia was great with our super-reactive rescue dog. She handled him like a pro, and he really liked her. We will most definitely be booking her again when the need arises. I highly recommend her.”

“John was excellent with my dog. He was polite and dependable. I knew I could count on him and that my dog was safe in his hands!! I recommend him!!! I'll be using John's services as long as I'm living in Rochester.”

About: I would love to work with you and your canine family. I love dogs and want them to have every opportunity to be "out-and-about" enjoying their lives, walking and traveling, as they are meant to. Fish gotta swim, birds gotta fly, and dogs got to walk! Dog-walking is service I am glad to provide. A brief background: I grew up with dogs. My first dog, a German Shepherd/Husky mix was a part of my family before I was born. After finishing my education, my partner and I adopted another Husky mix, Lulu, who was with us for 10+ years. She was well-trained, affectionate, and the best little fur friend we could have asked for. I have experienced, with a professional, Basic Obedience Class, Good Canine Citizenship, and will be continuing training to further my skills. Since Lulu passed, we adopted another cat (in addition to the one we already had), and they are the best of friends. However, I miss those daily walks with my furbie and am so glad for the opportunity to work with yours. I understand the importance of treating dogs with care and respect. It is my goal to increase my dog-walking skills to certification. Let's get in touch! Would be glad to chat more :) My schedule is generally 10am-4pm; but can be flexible if needed/as available. Will walk in any weather as long as it is safe to do so. Every measure will be taken to ensure the safety of your pet, including making sure they are safe on the leash while walking, while leaving and entering the home (no door dashing :]), as well as any other measures you may request to ensure safety.

About: Hello! I’m so excited to meet you and your doggo! With nearly 15 years of experience volunteering in animal shelters, animals rescues and fostering dogs I am well equipped to work with dogs of all temperaments. The first several years of fostering I solely focused on behavioral cases, working with dogs on reactivity and leash manners. My experience spans ages 8 weeks to seniors and weights itty bitty to 120+ pounds. Those close to me will say I’m “a dog whisperer” as I typically can win over even very selective dogs. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life and I continue to enjoy meeting furry friends wherever I go! My work is per diem which luckily allows me lots of time to hang with pups! I am available most days from noon until 4p.m. Depending on what you are most comfortable with/your dogs specific needs- I can provide private walks at the length of your choice/dog’s ability, sessions of fetch or pup playdates in my large fenced in yard. My dog is submissive and very accepting of all dogs, which is what makes him a great foster brother! As the safety and comfort of your dog(s) is my utmost priority, any play date would be proceeded by proper introductions and proof of up to date vaccinations.

About: I have been working at a dog daycare/boarding facility for over a year now, supervising up to 50 dogs a day. I care for and play with dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as give them baths when needed, feeding them meals, and giving needed medications. I have experience with many different kinds of dog behavior to know when they are anxious, scared, or if something is bothering them. Outside of work, I dog sit for family and friends, taking the dogs for walks and adventures so you will always be sure they will be tuckered out by the end of the day. I recently adopted a dog through K9 Orphans, Mia. She is a sweetheart with severe stranger danger (we are working on it), so I have experience with dogs who are reactive toward strangers. Through years of experience working with dogs, I’ve learned no personality is the same. I find it very important to learn what a dog’s specifics needs are and make sure they are met. My job at the daycare is full time and I work shifts that are between 6 and 8 hours (usually late morning through evening). Since I do work later in the day I have plenty of morning time to spend taking care of pets as well as flexibility to watch pets into the evening as well. Working at a dog daycare I experience everything that comes with working with dogs. I clean up anything you can think of, I understand dog behavior and when they are overwhelmed or anxious, and I know how to handle an aggressive dog. My main priority is to always keep them safe and happy.

“Hannah is amazing and our pup loves her walks/visits with her! The photos and updates are lovely and we are grateful for the excellent care our nutty lab receives from Hannah!”

About: My first pet was at age 10. I’ve had everything, from pet rats to parrots to dogs. I love animals, their love is unconditional. We have two dogs now. One is Frenchie/Boston mix, who is 3yo. She is a ball of energy and loves to give lots of kisses. We also just adopted a male Chihuahua, who was on the way to be put down. He is a sweetheart and gets a long with my 8 yo daughter and our other dog, beautifully. He loves to cuddle and to be carried around everywhere. My schedule allows for some flexibility, I can be available for walks, drop ins and more, as well as last minute appointments on occasion . I will care for your fur babies the way you do, the way they’re used to being cared for. Having animal friends myself, I understand how important that is and safety and attention that they need and deserve.

“I can’t begin to express how grateful I am to have met Portia. She is SO skilled with challenging dogs, as evidenced by her work with my pup. Winston is known at his vet as “that dog (somewhat affectionately😆). He is a reactive, anxious rescue who takes a very long time to warm up to people; I knew it might be a struggle to find a regular walker for him. Portia has been incredibly patient, kind, and diligent in working with Winston. I’m thrilled that she’s earned his trust, because now I can stay at work all day without having to worry about running back during my lunch break to walk him. I’ve told many of my pet-parent friends about Portia, since she’s so incredible with Winston- I imagine she’s the same with other animals! I give Portia my very highest rating; Winston and I are incredibly lucky to have her in our lives!”

About: I have taken care of all types of dogs growing up from a Pug to a Rottweiler. From training babies to senior dogs. I am very punctual, quite active, and I love having a furry four legged besty on a walk or on a hike. 🫶🏾🦮 I have just recently moved to this new area and was looking to find something I enjoy doing and take pride in. With understanding how stressful it is trying to find a sitter to care for your pet as well as you would when youre away, let alone one that you can trust, is the reason why I am doing this! I do have furbabies of my own that I love dearly so longer overnight stays may be negotiable. I have a fenced in yard for running around, potty breaks, along with lots of indoor & outdoor activities to keep your babies entertained and active. Your babies will be treated like they are my own everywhere and anywhere we go.

About: People have called me the "dog-whisperer", but I have an affinity with animals of all kinds. I have had several happy and sometimes spoiled dogs and cats of my own throughout my life, I am also the only person I know who never lost their hamster as a child. I love going on long walks and hikes, I even once had a cat who liked to go on walks with me. Dogs I have cared for in the past, have been known to miss me after they went home and were excited to see me again the next time. I am almost always available, very punctual, quite active, and I love having a furry four legged companion on a walk or a nice long hike. I am a full time student. My availability is generally open in the afternoon and evenings during the week, with full availability on the weekend. I like to follow instructions so a list is handy, I can take your pets on walks or hikes, and im very good at keepimg animals company and entertained.

“Jessica is an amazing dog walker! She has a lot of patience and will provide structure for the dog on the walk. Overall, I highly recommend Jessica as a dog walker :)”
