“Valerie was excellent! She took great of our dog, sent regular updates, and managed his eye condition well. An added bonus is her sweet dog Ollie who was great company for our dog and kept him at ease.”

“We have used Dina multiple times. She is great with the pups and I know they have a great time. They always come home exhausted. Dina also sends lots of pictures/ updates, which I really appreciate.”

“Kelso was absolutely phenomenal!! She is truly an expert on all things related to cats, so my cat was in the best hands and I learned lots of new information on best practices to be a better cat mom :) Kelso gave comprehensive updates on a daily basis and really went above and beyond to make sure my little boy was comfortable and taken care of. I highly recommend Kelso—my cat will definitely be back during my next trip!”

“Laura was amazing! She was so professional and caring! My old dude was having a hard night the first night but Laura was supportive and communicating the whole time. She was wonderful!”
“We went out of town for a week leaving our one year old Bulldog with Nef. He came to meet our dog and even accommodated transportation. My dog is very picky on who she likes however it was love from first sight. This was the first time we had to board our dog and now we have our go to person for life. Thanks Nef for the outstanding service!”

“Natasha was a good communicator and sent pictures of our girl while we were away! She took our golden on walks and played with her. She also was a huge help to us by picking up and dropping off our golden when we had early/late flight times. She was a huge help and we felt great about leaving our Honey girl with Natasha!”

“Our puppy had a wonderful time staying with Ana and her dog, Mia. Ana was an excellent sitter very accommodating, communicative, and easy to work with. We felt completely at ease and would happily book with her again.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for many years and have experience pet sitting for multiple families, including drop-in visits and overnight care. I’ve cared for cats regularly over several years, watched dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals of all kinds. I also volunteer through Doggy Day Out at the shelter, where I help walk and socialize dogs, and I grew up with a family dog, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I enjoy walks, playtime, cuddles, and making sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I have experience incorporating caregiving and pet care into my daily routine and enjoy creating consistent schedules for feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship. I am organized, dependable, and make it a priority to ensure pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. My schedule allows me to provide regular walks, check-ins, enrichment, and quality time, and I always work to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel at home. I spend a lot of time at home and have a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and consistency throughout the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routines as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and reduce stress. I make sure pets have fresh water, are fed on schedule, and receive plenty of attention, enrichment, playtime, and companionship. I prioritize safety by keeping doors and outdoor areas secure, being attentive during walks and potty breaks, and cleaning litter boxes as needed. I also provide updates and photos so owners feel informed, reassured, and connected while away.
“Stella looks forward to her stays with Andrew's family and Cosmo. I appreciate their time taking care of Stella when we can't. Peace of mind, for sure. Communication and feedback has been great! We are looking forward to our next stay!”

“This was my fourth time taking Duncan to Kath & Jordan and as always, they took great care of him! He always looks so happy in the pictures they send me :)”

“Megan takes such good care of Sophie! Sophie is on more meds now that she’s older and Megan is so good about asking any questions and keeping up with the medication chart. We were unable to fly home after the Caribbean air space was shut down and Megan kept Sophie even longer until we returned. We appreciated it so much. We will definitely book with Megan again!”

“I am so thankful to have found Melody. My dog, Opal, took to her right away, and she LOVES being over there for daycare and overnight stays. The times are super flexible, and I’m thankful to have someone that loves my dog as much as I do! I get pictures and videos on how Opal is doing throughout the day. Definitely the best dog sitter in Lex!”

“Alex and Martha are great! Communication is excellent. They spent a lot of time with our dog and she had a blast playing with their dog. We were worried about leaving her with a sitter for the first time but we had absolutely no issues at all. Will definitely use them again for our next trip!”

“Ann was great with my little dog. She was easy to communicate with and answered my questions quickly. I was surprised to see Ann had 2 large dogs of her own. That’s on me, I should have asked if she had large dogs. I got really nervous about leaving Scruffy because his back has been injured a couple of times by larger dogs. Ann was very reassuring and took good care of Scruffy. She also sent lots of photos to help easy my mind. I will be using Ann again.”

“Brian clearly treated our beagle very well! He gave her plenty of exercise (which she needs), and kept us appraised on how she was doing. A very good caregiver, all in all!”

“I cannot say enough kind things about John and how he treated Oreo while we were out of the country the past ten days. John communicated thoroughly throughout our trip and sent pictures of Oreo several times a day, he also took her out several times a day on walks or going to do fun things like visit the park, car rides, etc. She received many healthy treats and he even was kind enough to send some home with us today. I recommend using his services and will be using John from here on out in the future. 10/10 experience leaving my dog with him. We feel very lucky to have found John and Max! :)”

Northland dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kirsten was fantastic! She took great care of my high-energy dog, and I couldn't be happier with her service. She was incredibly communicative throughout the entire time, sending me pictures and videos every day. I had an excellent experience and would highly recommend her to anyone!

From the moment we met Tania, she was friendly and welcoming. She introduced Molly to her pets and the layout of her home and fenced-in yard. Molly had to learn to use the Dog Door and did so While away, Tania sent photos and videos of Molly enjoying herself. It is clear that Tania cares deeply for pets. Molly had a wonderful time, and we will look forward to using Tania again.

Laura is the BEST MOMMA you could hope for! She was absolutely amazing with my little 16 year old miniature Pomeranian. She took her into her home & loved her so much, FoxyRoxie would have stayed with her forever! I don’t think she even missed us. I will not be reluctant to use her for my baby again. She followed all my instructions & gave me daily feedback, which kept me from worrying about my elderly baby. Thank you so much Ms Laura.

Brittany is the literal best. We have a senior dog who requires some delicate attention as well as a heeler who is just chaos. We’ve taken several international trips and every time Brittany not only takes great care of our pups, but also keeps us updated so we can relax and enjoy our trip. 20/10 stars!!

Ava did a phenomenal job caring for my two pups, Trooper & Shaiya. We scheduled a meet and greet the evening before boarding and Ava kindly came to my residence to meet the dogs and ensure everything would work well with her dog as well. My dogs are young (8 and 6 months), and have a lot of play energy. Ava did a great job caring for them and provided me with pictures/videos along the way. Given her success with this challenge, I'm highly confident she will take excellent care of your dog as well! 10/10 recommend!
