My Approach I run my home setup with the safety and structure of a high-end kennel, not an indoor dog park. Every dog has their own secure kennel space in a cool, quiet basement, and any time out of the crate is fully supervised no exceptions. I have a fenced backyard, but I still prefer to use a long line or flexi-leash (for small dogs) to keep outings safe. Dogs are kept separate unless you request otherwise, so your pet never has to interact with unfamiliar dogs if you prefer they don’t.
