Any dog, any breed- All are welcome
About Me Animals have been part of my daily life for over 20 years — not limited to dogs. Working with everything from powerful equines to high-energy bully breeds has given me the skill, strength, and confidence to safely handle animals of any size or temperament. Whether your dog is a gentle giant, a mouthy puppy, or a little on the reactive side, they’ll be cared for with calm, capable hands. My Approach I run my home setup with the safety and structure of a high-end kennel, not an indoor dog park. Every dog has their own secure kennel space in a cool, quiet basement, and any time out of the crate is fully supervised no exceptions. I have a fenced backyard, but I still prefer to use a long line or flexi-leash (for small dogs) to keep outings safe. Dogs are kept separate unless you request otherwise, so your pet never has to interact with unfamiliar dogs if you prefer they don’t. Specialized Skills Confident handling of bully breeds, large breeds, reactive dogs, and dogs with anxiety. Skilled at managing strong leash pullers, jumpers, and “pushy” personalities. I am knowledgeable in canine body language and behavior. Experienced with puppies, seniors, and high-energy breeds (herders, workings dogs, etc) Why Pet Parents Choose Me I provide a controlled, secure environment that prioritizes your dog’s safety and routine above all else. My approach means no risky dog-to-dog contact, no overcrowded playgroups, and no chaotic environments — just attentive, experienced, care tailored to your pet’s needs. You can leave knowing your dog is not only safe, but understood and respected.

Kirsten was fantastic! She took great care of my high-energy dog, and I couldn't be happier with her service. She was incredibly communicative throughout the entire time, sending me pictures and videos every day. I had an excellent experience and would highly recommend her to anyone!

First time leaving our dogs with anyone outside of the family and Kristen was great. Frequent communication, attention to detail and lots of playtime. We were very impressed.

Kirsten is amazing!! She’s very informed, compassionate, and qualified to care for your fur baby. She’s very sweet and easy to work with. She’s watched our dog for us several times in the last few weeks and she will be our go to for boarding from here on out! She meets your pup exactly where they are at and makes sure they enjoy her time with her. We cannot say enough good things about her.

I observed Kristin with Huck and she established a good relationship while establishing boundaries. I was impressed that she took him to park and giving an opportunity use some of the energy after riding in the car.

Kirsten was amazing! She offered a meet and greet before my dog’s boarding. A very sweet person. And I was able to tell my dog would be in great hands. Awesome communication and I received plenty of updates including pictures and videos. I have an Aussie, and he has a lot of energy and Kirsten matches it perfectly.

Great service

I currently work from home and am rarely gone for longer than 4 hours at a time. If I am going somewhere dog friendly I frequently take dogs with me. If I am transporting dogs for excursions or to/from your home they ride in crates in my vehicle. Never loose in the car. I’m an active person and also a homebody. My personal dogs receive lots of exercise, training and playtime with me and other dogs.

My home environment is one of structure and safety. Our basement has its own garage entrance and dogs never have to cross paths. There is plenty of space in my fenced backyard to roam, play and sniff. Dogs that like to play tug get opportunities to roughhouse with me, dogs that like to chase things will get to toys on a line, dogs that like to fetch get to chase tennis balls or frisbees and dogs that like to chill— get to chill. Dogs are typically kept separate unless otherwise requested. If introductions are made then they start in a neutral environment like our nearby park. If you request that your dog be kept separate from other dogs they will. If they like making friends or you’d like us to work on their social skills we can. We won’t turn down: - dogs that are fearful - dogs with “rude” or pushy behavior - high energy dogs that require a lot of exercise *please note if your dog barks in a crate/kennel we will use a safe and effective bark collar. My partner loves living with and I’d like to keep it that way. No exceptions.

A typical morning includes takings dogs out for individual potty breaks, feeding breakfast, then chill time in a crate/kennel. After chill time we will have backyard romps, alone or in small supervised play groups. This can include playing with a favorite toy or playing fetch. Dogs can that can comfortably travel crated in my car may be take on “sniffaris” (sniff walks) in a park on a leash or long line. This will be followed by more kennel/crate chill time and dinner (if owners request twice a day feeding). Before bedtime all dogs will get one last potty breaks.
